Abstract

This research investigates consumer impulse buying behavior on TikTok's live shopping feature in Indonesia using the Stimulus-Organism-Response framework. Based on 237 questionnaires from new users, the study employed the SEM-PLS method for analysis. The results indicate that stimuli such as attractiveness and trustworthiness positively influence perceived enjoyment. Meanwhile, purchase convenience, product information, and price positively affect perceived usefulness. Both of these factors perceived enjoyment and usefulness were found to significantly increase the urge to buy impulsively (the response). In conclusion, consumers on live shopping platforms are more prone to making impulse purchases due to the direct encouragement and interaction provided by hosts during the broadcast.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the healthcare sector requires employees to continuously adapt to rapid technological changes. In private hospitals, the implementation of digital systems such as Hospital Information Systems, electronic medical records, and patient service applications aims to improve efficiency and service quality. However, the success of digital transformation depends not only on technological readiness but also on employees’ psychological and professional adaptability. This study aims to examine the effect of digital adaptation on work engagement and to analyze the mediating role of psychological well-being among employees of five private hospitals in Bandung City. A quantitative explanatory survey design was employed. Data were collected through a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 155 medical and non-medical employees selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling with SmartPLS 4.0. The findings are expected to provide empirical evidence on how digital adaptation enhances psychological well-being and work engagement. Theoretically, this study strengthens the application of the Job Demands–Resources Model in the context of hospital digitalization. Practically, the results may inform hospital management in developing human resource strategies focused on digital readiness and employee well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the health level of a bank using the RGEC method (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, and Capital) at Bank Nagari during the 2020–2024 period. The RGEC method is a risk-based bank rating approach that evaluates bank performance through four main aspects: risk profile, corporate governance, profitability, and capital adequacy. This research employs a descriptive quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the annual financial reports of Bank Nagari and official publications from the Financial Services Authority. The analysis is conducted by calculating financial ratios representing each RGEC component, including Non-Performing Loan and Loan to Deposit Ratio for Risk Profile, self-assessment for Good Corporate Governance, Return on Assets, Return on Equity, Net Interest Margin, and Operating Expenses to Operating Income for Earnings, as well as Capital Adequacy Ratio for Capital. The results indicate that overall, Bank Nagari’s health level is categorized as healthy to very healthy throughout the observation period. The Risk Profile shows significant improvement in NPL, which falls into the very healthy category, although LDR remains in the fairly healthy category. The GCG aspect demonstrates consistent performance in the healthy category. In terms of Earnings, most indicators are classified as very healthy, despite ROE requiring further improvement. Meanwhile, the Capital aspect shows a very strong condition, with CAR consistently in the very healthy category. In conclusion, Bank Nagari exhibits stable and strong performance; however, improvements are still needed in liquidity management, corporate governance, and capital utilization efficiency to achieve an optimal overall health level.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital games has increased the need for a strong psychological foundation in the game development process. Psychology plays a crucial role in understanding how players think, feel, stay motivated, and behave, all of which directly influence player engagement and overall gaming experience. This study aims to systematically examine the role of psychology in digital game development through a literature-based approach. A systematic literature review method was employed by selecting reputable scholarly journal articles published within a specific time frame from major academic databases. The selected articles were then analyzed and categorized based on branches of psychology and their applications in game development. The findings indicate that cognitive psychology, motivational psychology, emotional psychology, and social psychology are the most frequently applied fields, particularly in gameplay design, user experience, and player engagement. However, research gaps remain, especially regarding the integration of psychological theories during the early stages of game design. This study highlights the importance of psychology as both a theoretical and practical foundation in digital game development.
