Abstract

This research reveals that interest in learning has a significant correlation on student learning outcomes in al-Qur'an and Hadith subjects. Students with high interest in learning show a better level of activity and understanding in the learning process, while students with low interest tend to be passive and have difficulty achieving academic standards. Therefore, implementing learning methods that are interesting and actively involve students is very important to increase their interest and learning outcomes. This research involved 70 students with results showing that the average student interest in learning is in the good category, with a score of 82.80, which contributes positively to understanding the material. Apart from that, student learning outcomes also showed good improvement, with an average score of 83.16, reflecting that students not only have high interest, but are also able to achieve satisfactory achievements. The analysis shows that there is a significant and strong relationship between learning interest and student learning outcomes, with a correlation value of 0.788 with 62.1 % interest in learning to learning outcome. These findings confirm that increasing interest in learning contributes to improving learning outcomes. Therefore, educators need to apply interactive and interesting learning methods to increase student interest and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines the process of internalizing Islamic educational values and strengthening character for children of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) at the At-Tanzil Lembah Jaya Learning Center (SB), Ampang, Selangor, Malaysia. PMI children face structural exclusion from the formal education system due to their parents' illegal immigration status. This study describes the effectiveness of five program pillars: worship practices, tahsin-tajwid, tartil Al-Qur'an, aqidah akhlak, and batik art. The approach used is descriptive qualitative based on participatory observation. The results show that consistent habituation of worship routines can shape the discipline and emotional stability of students. The nagham bayati and nahawand methods have been proven to increase Quranic literacy and self-confidence of students. Social programs such as visits to orphanages instill the values of empathy and Islamic brotherhood. The integration of Islamic and national identities through flag ceremonies and batik art strengthens the identity of diaspora children. Overall, the community-based non-formal Islamic education model at SB At-Tanzil has succeeded in becoming a concrete response to the failure of the formal system in serving migrant children and has proven that the depth of educator commitment, the relevance of the contextual approach, and community solidarity are key factors for success.

Abstract

The use of local starches, such as ganyong, in food products is continuously being developed to enhance food diversification and product physical characteristics. This study aims to analyze the effects of ganyong starch addition on the organoleptic preference level of dimsum, including aroma, texture, taste, color, and overall acceptance. This research employed an experimental method with four treatment levels: control (0%), 25%, 50%, and 75% ganyong starch. Data analysis was performed using the non-parametric Kruskal-Wallis test followed by the Mann-Whitney post-hoc test, as the data were not normally distributed based on the Shapiro-Wilk test (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05), although the data variance was homogenous.

Abstract

The study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of planting media and liquid organic fertilizer on the production of pakcoy mustard in a hydroponic system. Using a factorial Completely Randomized Design (RAL) method. The first factor of planting media consisted of four levels: M1: TKKS, M2: TKKS+cocopeat (75:25), M3: TKKS+cocopeat (50:50), M4: TKKS+cocopeat (25:75). The second factor of liquid organic fertilizer consisted of four levels: K1: AB Mix, K2: POC 10%, K3: POC 15%, K4: POC 20%. The total treatment was 16 combinations and 32 experimental units. The results of statistical tests showed that the combination of planting media and liquid organic fertilizer from fruit waste had no significant effect on plant height and number of leaves, but had a very significant effect on leaf width, leaf length, leaf area, sample weight, and weight per plot. In addition to the control treatment, the use of TKKS+cocopeat (75:25) planting media and 10% POC provided the best results, thus potentially increasing pak choy mustard production.

Abstract

Constitutional Court Decision Number 135/PUU-XXII/2024 represents a significant form of constitutional engineering within Indonesia’s constitutional system, particularly concerning the design of simultaneous elections. The ruling emerged as a response to the complexities experienced during the 2019 and 2024 simultaneous elections, which were considered to have imposed excessive administrative burdens, weakened the quality of democracy, and reduced voters’ ability to make rational political choices. This study examines how the concept of constitutional engineering is constructed in Constitutional Court Decision Number 135/PUU-XXII/2024 and analyzes its implications for the redesign of Indonesia’s simultaneous elections in 2029. The objective of this research is to identify the constitutional restructuring initiated by the Constitutional Court and to evaluate the new electoral framework established following the decision. This research employs a normative legal method using statutory, conceptual, and case approaches. Legal materials were obtained from Constitutional Court decisions, statutory regulations, and scholarly literature related to constitutional law and the theory of constitutional engineering. The data were analyzed qualitatively by examining the ratio decidendi of the decision and its constitutional implications for the national electoral system. The findings reveal that Constitutional Court Decision Number 135/PUU-XXII/2024 constitutes an effort of constitutional engineering through the reorganization of the simultaneous election model aimed at strengthening the presidential system, improving political representation, and simplifying electoral administration. The redesign of the 2029 elections is directed toward separating national and local electoral schemes, whereby the elections for President, the House of Representatives (DPR), and the Regional Representative Council (DPD) are conducted simultaneously at the national level, while regional head elections and Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) elections are held separately at a different time. This redesigned model is expected to reduce technical complexities in election management, reinforce political party institutionalization, enhance voter rationality, and promote greater governmental stability within Indonesia’s constitutional democracy. Therefore, the decision functions not merely as a judicial ruling, but also as an instrument of constitutional engineering that shapes a new direction for Indonesia’s electoral system toward a more proportional, efficient, and democratic simultaneous election model in 2029.

Abstract

This study explores the oral tradition of Dundai Naek Sialang in Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra, as a form of local wisdom in traditional honey harvesting that preserves ecological balance. Using a descriptive qualitative method with ethnographic approaches—field observation, interviews with cultural maestros, and documentation of chants and practices—the research interprets symbolic meanings, cultural values, and ecological wisdom. Complementary analysis of Qur’anic exegesis, particularly Rūḥ al-Ma‘ānī by Al-Ālūsī, through Qawā‘id al-Tafsīr and Maqāṣid al-Syarī‘ah, situates the tradition within Islamic ecotheology. Findings reveal that Dundai Naek Sialang is not merely ritual chanting but embodies spiritual, social, and character education values aligned with Qur’anic messages on human stewardship (khalīfah, QS 2:30), prohibition of corruption (fasād, QS 7:56), and cosmic trust (amanah, QS 33:72). Thus, the tradition is relevant as intangible cultural heritage and ecological worship practice.

Abstract

The rise of digital technology has created new opportunities for women's empowerment, yet structural and cultural barriers continue to hinder their full participation. This study aims to analyze government strategies in promoting women's empowerment in the digital era through policies, digital literacy training, and cross-sector collaboration. A descriptive qualitative literature review method was employed, drawing from journals, reports, and policy documents. Findings reveal that community-based digital training, technological access, and regulatory support are effective in enhancing women's roles in the digital economy. Nevertheless, challenges such as the digital divide, gender stereotypes, and limited financial access remain significant obstacles. The study concludes that inclusive policies and sustained programs are crucial to enabling women to thrive in the digital transformation. It is recommended that the government expand training programs and strengthen partnerships with the private sector to build a gender-equal digital ecosystem

Abstract

-Domestic Violence (KDRT) is a criminal act that has a serious impact on the victim, both physically, psychologically, and socially. Case data in the jurisdiction of the Southeast Aceh Police shows an increase in the number of domestic violence cases from 2020 to 2024. This increase indicates that there is still low public legal awareness, strong patriarchal cultural factors, and an inoptimal victim protection system. This study formulates problems regarding the obstacles faced by law enforcement officials, legal efforts carried out, and the role of law enforcement officials in handling domestic violence cases in the Southeast Aceh Police Criminal Investigation Unit. The purpose of this research is to analyze obstacles, examine the form of legal remedies, and assess the effectiveness of the role of law enforcement officials based on the provisions of applicable laws and regulations. The research method used is empirical normative legal research with a legislative approach and a case approach, supported by domestic violence case data in the last five years. The results of the study show that obstacles to handling domestic violence include limited facilities and infrastructure, limited human resources, low victim participation in the legal process, and socio-cultural factors of the community. Legal remedies carried out by law enforcement officials include preventive, repressive, and combined measures in accordance with the provisions of Law Number 23 of 2004 and the criminal procedure law. The role of law enforcement officials is a determining factor in ensuring victim protection and the effectiveness of law enforcement. Thus, it is necessary to strengthen institutional capacity, increase the professionalism of the apparatus, and increase public legal awareness in order to realize fair and victim-oriented domestic violence law enforcement.

Abstract

Central Java experiences high population density and increasing anthropogenic activities that potentially alter microclimatic conditions and decrease human thermal comfort. This study analyzes the spatial and temporal variations of thermal conditions across the province during 2017–2025. Air temperature and relative humidity data were obtained from the ERA5-Land reanalysis dataset and processed using Google Earth Engine. Thermal conditions were evaluated using the Discomfort Index (DI), while validation was carried out through comparison with in-situ observations from the Badan Pusat Statistika (BPS). The findings reveal a gradual increase in DI throughout the study period, indicating a decline in environmental comfort levels. Temporally, January recorded the highest DI due to elevated humidity, whereas October showed relatively more comfortable conditions. Spatial analysis demonstrates that highland regions consistently experienced lower DI compared to lowland and coastal areas, emphasizing the important role of elevation in shaping thermal conditions. Validation results confirm that ERA5-Land data are reliable for examining thermal comfort patterns in Central Java.
