Abstract

This community service activity aimed to strengthen the social-emotional abilities and independence of Persons with Social Welfare Problems (PPKS) with disabilities through psychoeducational and creative approaches at Sentra Budi Perkasa Palembang. The program was designed to address the limited ability of participants in recognizing emotions, interacting socially, expressing feelings, and developing daily living independence. The methods used in this activity included participatory observation, psychoeducation, mentoring, creative activities, and social interaction exercises carried out through several programs such as emotional box, tree of hope, mini story theater, fun science day, happy journal, mental guidance sessions, and vocational skill activities. The implementation involved active collaboration between students, social workers, and beneficiaries in a supportive and inclusive environment. The results of the community service showed that the psychoeducational and creative approaches contributed positively to the improvement of participants’ social-emotional skills and self-confidence. Participants demonstrated better emotional expression, increased participation in group interactions, improved communication, and stronger motivation to engage in daily activities independently. Creative-based activities also encouraged participants to develop cooperation, self-expression, and adaptive behavior in a more enjoyable learning atmosphere. In addition, the program helped create a more supportive social environment within the rehabilitation center and enhanced students’ practical competencies in psychological assistance and social empowerment. Therefore, psychoeducational and creative interventions can become effective strategies for supporting the psychosocial development and independence of PPKS with disabilities in rehabilitation settings.

Abstract

Keterlibatan anak dalam permasalahan hukum menunjukkan bahwa fungsi pengawasan dan pembinaan dalam keluarga tidak selalu berjalan secara optimal. Kondisi ini menimbulkan pertanyaan mengenai pelaksanaan kekuasaan orang tua terhadap anak yang bermasalah dengan hukum serta tanggung jawab hukum yang melekat pada orang tua berdasarkan Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Perdata (KUHPerdata). Kajian mengenai tanggung jawab perdata orang tua atas perbuatan anak dalam konteks anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum masih jarang ditemukan dalam artikel hukum keluarga maupun hukum perdata Artikel ini membahas konsep kekuasaan orang tua menurut KUHPerdata dan penerapannya terhadap anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum. Penelitian menggunakan metode yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan (statute approach). Data diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan dengan menggunakan bahan hukum sekunder dan dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekuasaan orang tua tetap melekat selama anak masih berstatus belum dewasa menurut hukum. Dalam kondisi tersebut, orang tua tetap berkewajiban memberikan pengawasan, pembinaan, pendampingan, serta mewakili kepentingan hukum anak dalam proses penyelesaian perkara. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peningkatan penyuluhan hukum dan pendidikan keluarga agar masyarakat memahami hak, kewajiban, serta tanggung jawab orang tua terhadap anak berdasarkan hukum perdata.

Abstract

Perkembangan Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah mengubah pola penciptaan karya digital sekaligus memunculkan persoalan hukum terkait kepemilikan, orisinalitas, dan pertanggungjawaban atas pelanggaran hak cipta di ruang digital. Situasi ini menuntut pembaruan regulasi yang mampu menyesuaikan diri dengan kemajuan teknologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode hukum normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan, konseptual, dan komparatif, sedangkan data diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan dan dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Konstruksi pengaturan karya berbasis AI di Indonesia perlu memperkuat prinsip human authorship serta menetapkan batas keterlibatan manusia sebagai syarat perlindungan hak cipta. Dalam konteks tersebut, perlu dibedakan antara AI-assisted works yang masih berada dalam kendali kreatif manusia dan AI-generated works yang dihasilkan secara mandiri oleh sistem AI, karena perbedaan tersebut menentukan terpenuhinya unsur orisinalitas. Dengan demikian, reformasi hukum hak cipta harus mampu menjamin kepastian kepemilikan dan perlindungan hak sekaligus mendukung ekosistem ekonomi kreatif yang inovatif, berkeadilan, dan berkelanjutan di era transformasi digital.

Abstract

Tradisi uang panai merupakan salah satu identitas budaya masyarakat Bugis yang masih dipertahankan, termasuk oleh masyarakat Bugis yang bermigrasi ke berbagai daerah di Indonesia. Pertemuan budaya Bugis dengan masyarakat lokal Banten dalam praktik perkawinan menimbulkan dinamika komunikasi antarbudaya yang memerlukan proses negosiasi untuk mencapai kesepahaman mengenai pelaksanaan tradisi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemaknaan tradisi uang panai oleh masyarakat Bugis Sulawesi Selatan dan Bugis Banten, menjelaskan proses negosiasi budaya antara masyarakat Bugis dan masyarakat Banten Lama, serta mengidentifikasi hambatan komunikasi yang muncul dalam proses tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus yang dilaksanakan di Kampung Bugis, Kelurahan Banten Lama, Kecamatan Kasemen, Kota Serang. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña dengan perspektif Identity Negotiation Theory dan Face Negotiation Theory. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa uang panai dimaknai sebagai simbol penghormatan kepada perempuan dan keluarganya, bukan sebagai transaksi ekonomi. Meskipun makna filosofisnya tetap dipertahankan, pelaksanaannya mengalami penyesuaian terhadap kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat Banten. Proses negosiasi budaya berlangsung melalui musyawarah keluarga, komunikasi interpersonal, dan kompromi sehingga tercapai kesepakatan yang dapat diterima kedua belah pihak. Hambatan komunikasi yang ditemukan meliputi perbedaan pemaknaan terhadap uang panai, kesalahpahaman simbol budaya, serta perbedaan kemampuan ekonomi. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa komunikasi antarbudaya menjadi faktor utama dalam menjaga keberlanjutan tradisi sekaligus membangun hubungan sosial yang harmonis dalam masyarakat multikultural.

Abstract

Structural shifts in the economy during the Industry 4.0 era have transformed labor market demands. The high open unemployment rate among individuals aged 20–24, reaching 15.34% (BPS, 2024), underscores the urgency for final-year university students to develop a strong perception of their employability. This study aims to examine the effect of career adaptability on self-perceived employability among final-year students at Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang who are currently unemployed. A quantitative causal research design was employed, involving 326 students from the 2020, 2021, and 2022 cohorts, selected through quota sampling. Career adaptability was measured using the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS), adopted and adapted by Sulistiani et al. (2018), while self-perceived employability was measured using the Self-Perceived Employability Scale for University Students, adapted from Rothwell et al. (2008). Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression in IBM SPSS Statistics 29. The results indicate that career adaptability has a positive and significant effect on self-perceived employability, with the regression equation SPE = 33.699 + 0.288CA, t = 9.746 (p < 0.001), and a coefficient of determination R² = 0.227. This suggests that career adaptability explains 22.7% of the variance in self-perceived employability, while 77.3% is influenced by factors beyond the scope of this study. Categorization shows that the majority of respondents fall into the moderate category for both variables. These findings emphasize the importance of developing career adaptability through structured career guidance programs in higher education to enhance students employability perceptions and readiness to enter a competitive workforce.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ecological values and the relationship between the legends of the Pasemah ethnic community and the environmental ecosystem in Kedurang and Kedurang Ilir Districts, South Bengkulu Regency. The study employs a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. The research data consist of six legends collected through interviews, documentation, and audio recordings obtained from informants. Data were analyzed by examining the ecological values and environmental ethics reflected in the legends. The findings reveal that these legends embody five environmental ethics: respect for nature, responsibility, solidarity, care and compassion, and non-interference with natural life. The legends also demonstrate a close relationship with the environmental ecosystem, portraying nature as an essential part of community life and as a medium for fostering ecological awareness. Therefore, the legends of the Pasemah ethnic community in South Bengkulu Regency serve as one of the traditional ways through which earlier generations instilled ecological awareness in their descendants. These values function as guidelines for life, encouraging people not to exploit or damage nature but rather to maintain balance and harmony between humans and the environment.

Abstract

Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs), which operate through smart contracts without a legal entity, pose a fundamental challenge to cross-border data protection regimes. Following the enactment of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law No. 1 of 2024 amending the Personal Data Protection Act, enforcement mechanisms in Indonesia still rely on identifying “Personal Data Controllers” in the form of corporate or natural persons. When the flow of Indonesian citizens’ data becomes the subject of criminal acts by a DAO into a non-equivalent jurisdiction, an absolute liability gap arises because there is no legal entity that can be sanctioned. This normative legal research employs a legislative, conceptual (cyber jurisdiction), and comparative approach, drawing on the legal frameworks of the European Union (GDPR) and Wyoming (DUNA). The study finds that conventional mechanisms suffer from structural failures. To address this issue, the study proposes a hybrid law enforcement mechanism: first, the application of proxy liability to key actors (core developers) as de facto data controllers; second, a regulatory mandate for a “legal wrapper” under the implementing regulations of the Personal Data Protection Act, requiring DAOs to have a legal representative in Indonesia as a prerequisite for cross-border data transfers, with on-chain access blocking via ISPs serving as a last resort.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ecological conflicts and environmental representations in the novel Kekal karya Jalu Kancana based on Lawrence Buell’s ecocritical literary theory. The study is motivated by the growing concern over environmental degradation, which is also represented in literary works as a form of criticism and reflection on the relationship between humans and nature. Through an ecocritical approach, this research seeks to reveal how ecological conflicts and environmental issues are portrayed in the novel. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method with an ecocritical literary approach. The data consisted of words, sentences, dialogues, and narratives containing ecological conflicts and environmental representations in the novel Kekal karya Jalu Kancana. The primary data source was the novel Kekal by Jalu Kancana, published in 2019. Data were collected through library research by reading, marking, and recording relevant data. The data were analyzed through the processes of identification, classification, description, and interpretation based on Lawrence Buell’s ecocritical literary theory. The findings reveal that the ecological conflicts in the novel include the exploitation of nature for human interests, conflicts of human interests with ecological impacts, unequal relationships between humans and nature based on anthropocentric perspectives, multilayered ecological impacts, and ecological conflicts as environmental criticism. Environmental representation is reflected through the environment as an essential part of life, a shared living space, a moral responsibility, and an entity that continuously changes human actions. This study demonstrates that the novel emphasizes the importance of ecological awareness and human responsibility in preserving environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Change management is a key element in maintaining organizational continuity amidst technological advancements, globalization, and the complexity of a constantly changing environment. An organization must be able to adapt and implement change to remain competitive and face emerging challenges. The focus of this research is to investigate organizational adaptation and transformation strategies in implementing change management through a review of various previous studies. The methodology chosen for this study is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with a descriptive, qualitative approach. Data collection was conducted by searching for scientific articles in the Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar databases using relevant keywords related to change management, adaptation strategies, and organizational transformation. The selected articles were screened based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, ensuring their relevance. The findings of this study indicate that organizational adaptation strategies, such as improving human resources, organizational innovation, flexibility in work systems, and strengthening organizational culture, are crucial for successful change management. Furthermore, organizational transformation, particularly digital transformation, appears to improve operational efficiency, service quality, and the effectiveness of decision-making within the organization. This research also identified that transformational leadership and internal organizational readiness are key factors for successful change implementation within organizations. Using the SLR approach, this research is expected to contribute theoretically to the development of studies on organizational change management and serve as a reference source for organizations in formulating adaptive and sustainable change strategies.

Abstract

Tingginya kecenderungan turnover intention pada karyawan apotek dapat menjadi sinyal awal terjadinya turnover. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh work engagement dan dukungan sosial terhadap turnover intention pada karyawan apotek di Telukjambe Timur. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Responden penelitian berjumlah 97 yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan skala Turnover Intention Scale (TIS-6), Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES), dan Muktidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS). Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work engagement berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Sementara itu, dukungan sosial secara umum tidak berpengaruh signifikan, namun pada analisis dimensi ditemukan bahwa significant others berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Secara simultan, work engagement dan dukungan sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover intention dengan kontribusi sebesar 29,2%
