Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) telah mendorong berbagai inovasi dalam pelayanan informasi, termasuk di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi. Salah satu permasalahan utama yang dihadapi Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Tomakaka adalah keterbatasan akses informasi akademik yang cepat, efisien, dan interaktif, terutama di luar jam kerja administrasi. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi chatbot berbasis Dialogflow dan Natural Language Processing (NLP) yang diintegrasikan dengan platform Android guna meningkatkan layanan informasi akademik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengembangan sistem dengan model waterfall dan pendekatan evaluasi kuantitatif menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert yang disebarkan kepada 30 mahasiswa sebagai responden. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa chatbot mampu menjawab seluruh pertanyaan pengguna secara tepat dengan tingkat akurasi 100% pada pengujian End-to-End. Selain itu, rata-rata kepuasan pengguna terhadap aplikasi mencapai 84%, yang menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini efektif dalam meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan efisiensi layanan akademik. Aplikasi ini terbukti mengurangi ketergantungan pada interaksi manual dan waktu operasional staf akademik. Berbeda dari penelitian sebelumnya, studi ini secara khusus menggabungkan teknologi Dialogflow, NLP, dan aplikasi Android dalam satu sistem terpadu yang diimplementasikan di perguruan tinggi daerah, sehingga memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap inovasi pelayanan akademik berbasis AI di Indonesia.

Abstract

Presenting text is a language skill that is generally recognized so that it requires good language skills. Not only good language skills, in presenting text skills also require mastery of spelling, grammar rules, standard grammar, and effective sentences. Students are expected to be able to organize data and facts into a paragraph. After students receive the media provided, students should be able to take the things they need and use them as material to present descriptive text. The data and facts obtained by students must be arranged so that they can become good paragraphs. While until now students are still lacking in arranging the data and facts they have to become correct descriptive paragraphs. One effort to create a learning atmosphere for interactive, inspiring, active and fun descriptive text presentation activities. This study aims to make the Indonesian language learning process effective using Paired Story Telling. The research method used is pre-experimental design research. The results of this study Paired Story Telling on the skills of presenting descriptive texts of class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Satap Mambi are shown through the Paired Sample Test table, obtained a t-count value of -15.541 and a t-table value of 2.845 with a degree of freedom (df) of 20, and a 2-tailed significance of 0.00. The significance value obtained is smaller (<) than alpha (α) 0.05. This is interpreted that Paired Story Telling is effectively applied to the material of presenting descriptive texts

Abstract

The researcher found that there were still many students who felt bored while learning and had difficulties in memorizing vocabulary. The research methods used are Classroom Action Research (CAR). The population in this research were all students at MA Yadi Cabang Funju, and the sample was the x grade students of MA yadi Cabang Funju with a total of 15 people. Three instruments were used in this research, interview guideline, observation, and questionnaire. In addition, there are four data analyses in this research, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The result of this research that in cycle I, there was 1 student with a percentage 50-69% are in the fair category. And a total 14 students with a percentage 0-49% are in the poor category. In cycles II as many as 7 students with above average ability with a percentage of 70-89% are in the good category. A total of 6 students with average ability with a percentage of 50-69% are in enough category, and 2 students with below average ability with a percentage of 0-49% are in the not enough category. From this result, it can be concluded that students experienced a 50-69% increase vocabulary through outdoor learning,

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of product quality and brand image on purchasing decisions of Nippon Paint in Pinrang City, both partially and simultaneously. The background of this research stems from the increasingly intense competition in the paint industry, where consumers are faced with many product choices. To gain deeper insights into consumer behavior, this research adopts a descriptive quantitative approach using a survey method involving 56 respondents who are consumers of Nippon Paint. Data were collected through four instruments: observation sheets, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The independent variables in this study are product quality (including durability, color coverage, texture, and safety) and brand image (including recognition, reputation, and emotional appeal), while the dependent variable is the purchase decision. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 27. The results show that product quality has a strong partial influence on purchasing decisions. Similarly, brand image also has a significant partial effect. Simultaneous testing indicates that both variables together make a meaningful contribution to purchasing decisions of Nippon Paint. The coefficient of determination (R²) reveals that more than 60% of the variation in purchasing decisions can be explained by product quality and brand image.

Abstract

This study examined the genetic diversity of local bananas (Musa spp.) from various key regions in Indonesia, including Ambon, Raja, Kepok, Klutuk, Tanduk, Barangan, Batu, and Susu varieties. Through experimental and descriptive approaches using microsatellite analysis (SSR), ITS-PCR-RFLP, rbcL barcoding, and flow cytometry, high genomic variations (AA, AAB, ABB) and ploidy levels (diploid, triploid, tetraploid) were found in local cultivars. Molecular markers and morphological data showed consistent classification and great potential for the development of banana varieties resistant to major diseases such as BSV and Panama disease. The results of this study emphasise the importance of the genetic diversity of local Indonesian bananas as a key resource for breeding programs, germplasm conservation, and the resilience and sustainability of national banana production.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the challenges of foreign language mastery, particularly English, among high school students in Makassar City, in response to the demands of globalization and international job competition. The method used was a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test to measure the effectiveness of the English Corner program in English learning. The research subjects were students of SMA Negeri 19 Makassar and SMA Tri Tunggal 45 Makassar who came from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. The results showed that the main obstacles to foreign language mastery were low motivation, limited facilities, lack of language practice, and minimal environmental support. The implementation of the English Corner program in collaboration with universities improved students' language competence, self-confidence, and cultural sensitivity. This study recommends the need for cooperation between schools, communities, and the government in creating a learning environment that supports the sustainable development of foreign languages.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the impact of climate change on soil and water quality in Indonesia through an environmental geochemistry approach. By analyzing soil and water samples from several representative locations, the study found that rising temperatures and fluctuating rainfall contribute to a decrease in soil pH and an increase in heavy metal concentrations in water. Interviews with farmers and local communities showed a growing awareness of the changes occurring in agricultural patterns and resource quality. The findings of this study emphasize the importance of sustainable management and collaboration among researchers, government, and communities to address the challenges posed by climate change.

Abstract

Nonverbal communication in the classroom is as essential as verbal interaction in shaping effective teaching and learning. This study explored students’ perceptions of their English teacher’s nonverbal communication in class XI IPS 2 at SMAN 1 Pangale. The findings indicate that the teacher demonstrated effective nonverbal immediacy, which included neat and professional appearance, meaningful eye contact, supportive gestures, and frequent smiling. These behaviors contributed to creating a positive classroom atmosphere where students felt more comfortable, relaxed, confident, and engaged in the learning process. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study population comprised students from classes XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 2, with a sample of 25 students from XI IPS 2. The results highlight the significant role of nonverbal communication in enhancing students’ motivation, comprehension, and overall classroom participation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran literasi berbahasa Indonesia terhadap keterampilan berbahasa siswa di MA Guppi Mamuju. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas 2 MA Guppi Mamuju, dengan sampel yang dipilih sebanyak 24 siswa yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes keterampilan berbahasa Indonesia yang mencakup aspek membaca, menulis, dan berbicara. Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pemberian pretest sebelum pembelajaran dimulai, dilanjutkan dengan intervensi berupa pembelajaran literasi berbahasa Indonesia selama 8 pertemuan, dan diakhiri dengan posttest setelah pembelajaran selesai. Teknik analisis data menggunakan SPSS versi 25 dengan uji t untuk membandingkan perbedaan skor pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada keterampilan berbahasa Indonesia siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran literasi. Berdasarkan uji t, nilai sig. sebesar 0,000 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05, menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran literasi berbahasa Indonesia berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berbahasa siswa. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran literasi berbahasa Indonesia dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa siswa MA Guppi Mamuju, yang berdampak pada kemampuan akademik dan komunikasi mereka di masa depan.

Abstract

This study positions customary land not merely as an object of agrarian law but as a reflection of the complex relationship between state entities, local traditions, and the human rights of indigenous communities, which are constantly adapting to the demands of modernisation and the need for legal certainty. Using a normative legal approach and socio-legal analysis, the discourse on the existence and protection of customary rights in Indonesia illustrates the contestation between formal recognition dominated by the national registration system and local practices that still rely on customary values, structures, and legitimacy. This dynamic demands strengthening legal harmonization mechanisms, innovation in institutional instruments, and sensitivity to state policies so that substantive justice and social sustainability for indigenous communities can be realised within the framework of national agrarian law.
