One of the activities in agriculture that contributes is horticultural farming. Solok Regency is one area that has the potential to become one of the centers of onion production because it has been the area with the largest production and planting area of shallots in West Sumatra. This activity was followed by shallot farmers in Jorong Gompong, Solok Regency who will carry out a program of diversification of shallots to fried onions. This product diversification activity can create added value, and of course it will increase the income of the farmer and to overcome the problem of overproduction which can make onions cheaper and can also cause the onions to rot, this will cause losses to the farmers. To overcome this, product diversification needs to be implemented, one of which is to make fresh shallots into fried onions.

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan untuk menumbuhkan kreativitas siswa dalam menulis dengan menyajikannya dalam bentuk komik. Dalam proses pembelajaran menulis yang berlangsung selama ini, komik dijadikan sebagai media untuk merangsang kreativitas dan imajinasi siswa. Namun dalam kegiatan ini komik dijadikan sebagai produk atau hasil kegiatan menulis siswa yaitu dengan menampilkan tulisan dalam bentuk gambar yang memiliki tokoh latar dan alur sehingga mereka bisa menciptakan karakter dan isi cerita sendiri dengan gambar-gambar yang mereka senangi. Metode yang dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan dalam bentuk tahap-tahap atau fase-fase kegiatan selama empat minggu dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian dijabarkan sebagai berikut. Pertama, untuk indikator tokoh diperoleh hasil 80 persen siswa mampu menciptakan tokoh. Kedua, untuk indikator alur diperoleh hasil sebanyak 70 persen siswa mampu merancang alur. Ketiga, untuk indikator tema, sebanyak 90 persen siswa mampu menyesuaikan cerita dengan tema. Keempat, untuk indikator gambar dan penggunaan bahasa, sebanyak 70 persen siswa mampu memadukan bahasa dan gambar menjadi komunikatif.

AbstrakKegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan di SMPIT 20 Mei Raudlatussa'adah Depok dengan alamat Jl. Menpor No.64, Tugu, Kec. Cimanggis, Kota Depok, Jawa Barat 16451 No. Telp. 8773023 bertujuan untuk membagikan pengetahuan dan informasi mengenai penggunaan platform Zoom, Google Hangouts, dan Google Meet dalam pengajaran bahasa Inggris berbasis daring di tingkat SMP atau sederajat . Kegiatan yang dilakukan selain memberikan penjelasan secara teoritikal dan praktikal mengenai penggunaan platform-platform tersebut juga memberikan penjelasan tentang bagaimana mengaplikasikannya dengan tehnik yang sesuai dan variasi model pengajaran dengan penggunaan platform Zoom, Google Hangouts, dan Google Meet. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan berupa pelatihan untuk para guru yang mengajar di SMPIT 20 Mei Raudlatussa'adah Depok. Dalam pelatihan tersebut juga dilakukan simulasi atau praktik secara langsung bagaimana penggunaan platform Zoom, Google Hangouts, dan Google Meet yang dapat diimplementasikan ketika mengajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan yaitu Community Language Learning yang mana saling berbagi informasi dan berdiskusi serta saling berbagi pengalaman layaknya seperti konsultan dan klien. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilakukan selama bulan Maret-Juli 2020. Hasil dari PKM para guru mendapatkan wacana literasi digital dalam pengajaran secara daring. Implikasi platform-platform yang dipaparkan dapat bermanfaat sebagai referensi media dalam pengajaran berbasis daring.Kata kunci: Platform, Zoom, Google Hangouts, Google Meeting, Pengajaran Bahasa Inggris Berbasis DaringAbstractCommunity service activity was carried out at SMPIT 20 May Raudlatussa'adah Depok with the address Jl. The activity was not only provided theoretically but also practically explanations regarding the use of those platforms. Additionally, an explanation of how to apply them with appropriate techniques and variations of teaching models were exhibited. Community service activity was carried out in the form of training for teachers who teach at SMPIT 20 May Raudlatussa'adah Depok. In the training, there was also a simulation or first-hand practice on how to use the Zoom, Google Hangouts, and Google Meet platform that can be implemented while teaching. The method used in the training was Community Language Learning which shared information and discussed experiences like consultants and clients. This Community Service activity was held during March-July 2020. The result was the teachers received a digital literacy discourse in online teaching. In the DKI Jakarta area, in the 2019/2020 school year it is almost certain that all schools in the Ministry of Education and Culture and the DKI Jakarta Education Office have compiled the 2013 curriculum. How to understand this 2013 curriculum encourages teachers to improve their quality and professionalism as educators adjusted to the needs of the present . The thing that is highlighted the most is the ability of a teacher in information technology literacy that is good at accessing and using the technology itself. At the same time in Menteng Atas Elementary School 02 Morning, there are still not a few teachers who have not mastered specific information technology in order to make IT-based learning media, therefore related to the team from Unindra will help community service to help teachers in doing communication 2013 (kurtilas) one of them with the help of teachers in providing learning using video media in PowerPoint with hyperlink techniques. Hopefully with community service activities we can help in developing and improving the professionalism of teachers in the field of information technology.

Character education is a must for countries that want to make their citizens have good attitudes and behaviors. The goal to be achieved in Community Service activities is to make students aware of the need to have and implement attitudes that have character. In the school environment, the teacher's role is to educate the character of students. Thus, community service activities want to make students aware and want to instill and develop character attitudes through socialization. Socialization is given to provide direct literacy of character education to students. Socialization is filled with questions and answers so that students who are not familiar with matters relating to character can immediately ask the implementation team.

The difficulty of students in operating Microsoft Excel programs as one of the data processing programs as a major factor in the low ability of students to process data. The training activities aim to make participants comprehensively understand the material presented, so that it can be implemented applicatively in the world of work and have the professional ability to operate Microsoft Excel and deliver participants to the International Microsoft Office Specialist Excel Certification. The method used in the implementation of this activity is teaching in a computer laboratory, tutorials (mentoring) using Microsoft Excel 2010 modules, discussions and questions and answers. The activity was carried out at the STKIP PGRI West Sumatra Laboratory. The population is the 2017 STKIP PGRI West Sumatra Mathematics Education Study Program students who will graduate. Based on the activities carried out, it was obtained that out of 44 participants who were registered to take part in the training and international certification exam, only 29 participants took part in the training. Of the 29 participants who could take the international certification exam only 22 participants. There were 45% of participants who passed the certification exam so that they received the MOS Certified certificate from Microsoft. While 32% of participants received a Certificate of Completion certificate and as many as 23% of participants received a Certificate of Attendance certificate. So it can be concluded that the training provided is able to improve the ability of students to operate Microsoft Excel.

PENINGKATAN KEAHLIAN MENYIMAK SISWA DENGAN UJI MENYIMAK MELALUI TOEFL DI SMA DEK PADANG Edwar Kemal

As a medium of instruction, English does not easily develop in Indonesia. It is even becoming a problem in communication where many parties are not interested to use it in communication. On the contrary, world of Industries really demand the workers to be able to speak and write in English well. SMA DEK as one of the private school that its graduated students directly work in companies after graduation answers the problem. It provides its students with various English program such as english day, English zone, learning TOEFL and English Proficiency. By considering the quality of the students, these programs are expected running well. Emphasizing listening skill is the main purpose because it is the most activity used by students during English learning. So that, observation method, testing method and discussion method are implemented in order to find out the student qualification to answer the challenge. From the community service implementation, it is found that the students have been good on listening skill understanding. During the participant observation, they make and answer the question freely. While implementing the listening TOEFL test, they can answer the questions well and when the discussion method comes, they argue about the correct answer by giving their own reason. It finally concludes that, by learning the Listening TOEFL test, SMA DEK students are motivated to speak freely and give comment toward the given information.

Pandemi Covid-19 memaksa masyarakat dunia mendefinisikan makna hidup, tujuan pembelajaran dan hakikat kemanusiaan. Jika selama ini manusia-manusia dipaksa hidup dalam situasi serba cepat, pekerjaan tanpa henti, dan kejaran target pertumbuhan ekonomi dalam sistem kompetisi. Namun, persebaran virus Corona (Covid-19) yang menjadi krisis besar manusia modern, memaksa kita untuk sejenak bernafas, berhenti dari pusaran sistem, serta melihat kembali kehidupan, keluarga, dan lingkungan sosial dalam arti yang sebenarnya. Manusia dipaksa 'berhenti' dari rutinitasnya, untuk memaknai apa yang sebenarnya dicari dari kehidupan.E-learning merupakan aplikasi internet yang dapat menghubungkan antara pendidik dan peserta didik dalam sebuah ruang belajar online. E-learning tercipta untuk mengatasi keterbatasan antara pendidik dan peserta didik, terutama dalam hal waktu, ruang, kondisi, dan keadaan (Darmawan, 2014:10). Penggunaan e-learning sudah bukan hal yang baru lagi atau yang kita kenal dengan istilah open source, e-learning open source yang dapat digunakan yaitu aplikasi berupa zoom, googleclassroom dan lain sebagainya
