Abstract

In the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic, learning was more emphasized online based so that it undergoes many changes and adaptations by both lecturers and students. This research aimed to find out how online learning activities were during the Covid-19 pandemic, 2020's grade students of the Geography Education Program, FKIP Undana Kupang. The method used in this study was a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used interviews and observations. Data analysis used includes data reduction (summarizing/choosing the main points), data display, and conclusions. The results showed 1). The advantages of online learning were the flexibility of space and time by utilizing online learning applications, namely Zoom, Google Meet, Google Classroom, Undana E-Learning, and WhatsApp; 2). The main obstacle to learning in the network is the stability of the internet network in various places and the high cost of internet data packages; 3). Student learning outcomes as far as the lecturers observed were still good, only the values are given require wisdom from the lecturers who were in charge of the course

Abstract

The aimed of this research to determine the analysis of landslide in Wolotolo village, Detusoko district, Ende regency. This research used a survey method to map geomorphological conditions in Wolotolo Village, Detusoko District, Ende Regency. The method used in this research was a survey method to map geomorphological conditions in Wolotolo Village, Detusoko District. The main stages of this research include the pre-field, field and post-field stages. The pre-field stage was in the form of secondary data collection. The field stage was taking soil samples, identifying landslides in the field. The post-field stage was in the form of making landslides and reporting the results of field identification. The results of this research indicate that most of the soil types in Wolotolo Village wereultisols and inceptisols. This can caused this area to became an area that was prone to landslides. This study also found several dominant factors that may caused landslides, namely: slope, land use, soil type and rainfall as trigger factors. Steep slopes tend to be prone to landslides, especially with unstable slope conditions. This causes many steep slopes to be steep. Based on the results of the analysis, the slope in Wolotolo Village was more dominated by a slope of >45% which is a very steep area. So it can be identified that the area has the potential for landslides. Land use on steep slopes also affects slope stability. The land use in the study area is dominated by forest, plantations and shrubs.

Abstract

Covid-19 is a challenge by the people of Indonesia today. Since the Covid-19 pandemic has hit Indonesia in February 2020, covid-19 became a pandemic because the events of this pandemic spread almost throughout Indonesia with a death rate of 2.39%. One of the provinces affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, namely East Nusa Tenggara Province with the highest Covid-19 cases, was in Kupang City. Puskesmas as health facilities closest to the community have an important role in provide services to reduce the death rate due to Covid-19. This study aims to map the zoning of the puskesmas reach to Covid-19 patients in Kupang City using multiple ring buffer analysis. The results showed that the reach of puskesmas services to Covid-19 patients in Kupang City was included in the very affordable category with a distance of 0 - 2.5 km to reach 69.55% of Covid-19 patients. There are unreachable category area in puskesmas services in a small part of the southwest part of Alak Village and the southeastern part of Kolhua Village.

Abstract

The dynamics of urban population growth is not only caused by the increase in the birth rate, but is more dominantly influenced by the flow of urbanization, whose presence also influences the city's economy. The increasing population and professional variations will lead to intense competition so that changes in lifestyle will tend to be competitive between individuals and urban social groups. The characteristics of the society tend to be individualistic, materialist and consumptive, resulting in social disparities between groups of people which have an impact on horizontal conflicts. Per capita income tends to increase because the dynamics of the economy move more aggressively so that if combined with changes in consumptive patterns, urban communities will waste more than rural communities. This research aims to; [1] Analyzing the accuracy of the distribution of waste based on the distribution pattern of the source of the landfill, [2] Analyzing the suitability of the location of the TPSS bins in accordance with the distribution pattern of the source of the landfill and the ease of access for transportation by the waste fleet, and [3] Determining the strategic location of the placement of TPSS bins for convenience. access to waste transfer in Kelapa Lima District, Kupang City. The research is focused in Kelapa Lima sub-district with a mixed method analysis approach, supported by primary and secondary data. Nearest neighbor analysis or better known as nearest neighbor analysis requires data about the distance between one settlement and the closest settlement, namely the nearest neighboring settlement. This analysis, introduced by Clark and Evans, is a method of geographic quantitative analysis used to determine the pattern of settlement distribution. Good waste management is indicated by the lack of even leaving residual waste from the waste management process at the previous stage. This matter is conceptualized in the 3R (Reduce-Reuse-Recycle) strategy, which starts by regulating [holding] consumption patterns then maximizing the value of the object's function to the highest point of use before it no longer has value and finally if it can no longer be used the object [prospective trash] is recycled. repeat until you get a new benefit value. Such a strategy must continue to be campaigned on a massive scale to the point where it is possible that waste will be generated by every human being as the main source of waste and requires producers to be responsible for ensuring the quality of their products which are more adaptive to environmental conditions.

Abstract

The aimed of this research to find out 1) the availability of ground water in Nanga Labang Village 2) the volume of ground water used by farmers for irrigation of paddy fields during one planting period 3) what were the efforts made by the people of Nanga Labang Village in maintaining and protecting natural resources. water. The method used descriptive method with a quantitative approach, this type of research was survey research. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. Analysis of the data used formula for calculating water availability statically, calculating water needs which were presented in tabular form, as well as the results of field identification related to groundwater resource conservation efforts carried out by the people of Nanga Labang Village. The results of this study found the availability of ground water in the study area 83,731,200 m3/year. This availability was influenced by geological conditions, land cover, geomorphology, rainfall in the research area. The water demand in the research area was influenced by the area of land, the number of use of boreholes, the length of time pumping is carried out and the capital costs owned by the farmers. Planting Time. The conservation efforts that have been carried out have not been very visible to the community, so far the efforts that are often needed by the community are by making efficient use of water.

Abstract

The suitability of residential land is used to determine the level of land suitability for settlement development based on the physical condition of the land. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of land suitability for settlements in the Soe City sub-district. The analytical method used in this study is quantitative descriptive and overlaying basic physical data relating to land suitability for settlements, then overlaying the results of the field survey and the RTRW so that it can determine the direction of development of residential land use based on the characteristics of the land suitable for development. From the results of the analysis, it is known that all areas of the Soe City District are suitable for settlements. Based on the sum of the land suitability parameters, three land functions are obtained, namely land that is very suitable, quite suitable, and suitable for settlements. Based on the land suitability overlay, with the RTRW that is spread over the Soe City sub-district, namely the residential area is spread over an area of 4.50%, limited production forest is spread over an area of 9.12%, water catchment areas are spread over an area of 0.06%, mixed gardens spread over an area of 5.65%, grazing land spread over an area of 0.14%, dryland agriculture spread over an area of 11.49% with rivers/lakes spread over an area of 0.04 ha.
