Abstract

Aspects of education are able to make people have a broad view of the world of politics, the difference between people with high and low education can be seen from their attitudes and behavior. This study aims to determine the effect of education level on community political participation in the 2020 regional head election in Serangan Village. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method. The data analysis technique used is the research instrument test, classical assumption test, simple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient test, t hypothesis test, and coefficient of determination test. Based on the results of the research and discussion carried out, it can be concluded that the level of education has a positive and significant relationship with community political participation, for the category of relationship is classified in a weak relationship with a magnitude of 6.5%. For 93.5% influenced by other variables not examined by the researcher.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Analysis of Priority Policy Implementation for the Use of Village Funds for the Achievement of Village SDGs as an effort to develop and empower rural communities in Pende Village in 2021 and identify supporting and inhibiting factors. This study uses qualitative research methods with qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that the Implementation of the Priority Policy for the Use of Village Funds in 2021 in the village of Pende has carried out conformity with the SOP and the rules of technical guidance in the legislation. However, the process is still not optimal. This can be seen from the lack of information to the public at large or prioritizing people who are close to the village government, the existence of miscommunication between relevant stakeholders and for accountability to the community the lack of transparency. The inhibiting factor that affects the implementation of the priority policy on the use of village funds for the achievement of the village SDGs in 2021 is the occurrence of miscommunication between work units. The supporting factors that influence the implementation of the priority policy on the use of village funds for the achievement of the village SDGs in 2021 are the commitment of the Pende village government in implementing policies, flexible SOPs according to village needs and the enthusiasm of the Pende village community.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the extent to which novice voters in the city of Semarang are actively involved in the implementation of the 2020 Pilkada, as well as to find out what factors can influence the behavior of novice voters in making choices. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Researchers use this method in order to more deeply analyze the voting behavior of novice voters. Data collection techniques were taken through in-depth interviews with related sources, literature studies, and field observations. This is intended so that the data obtained can be more comprehensive and make it easier to map the area of election factor analysis for novice voters. The results showed that in general, novice voters in the city of Semarang were classified as rational voters, these novice voters chose regional head candidates based on considerations of past performance or the vision-mission carried by the candidate.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of implementing the jogo tonggo policy in handling the Covid-19 pandemic in Temulus Village, Mejobo District, Kudus Regency and to describe the supporting factors and obstacles to the implementation of the jogo tonggo policy in Temulus Village. By using descriptive qualitative research methods. The results of the research conducted showed that the implementation of the jogo tonggo policy in handling the Covid-19 pandemic in Temulus Village which was analyzed using Edward III's implementation theory which consisted of 4 (four) variables, namely communication, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure had gone well in accordance with existing guidelines or SOPs. The supporting factors for this policy are support and good coordination between all elements, including the Temulus Village Government, the Jogo Tonggo Task Force, and the community, and a clear and well-structured division of tasks. However, in its implementation there are still inhibiting factors such as inadequate facilities, limited budget, lack of implementing incentives, and social sanctions that are still not firm from policy makers.

Abstract

The greatness of the Majapahit empire has been a source of inspiration for Indonesia's past glory which was formed as a state in the following centuries after the fall of Majapahit. Modern Indonesian nationalists, including those involved in the National Awakening Movement in the early 20th century, have pointed to Majapahit as a shining example of the past glories of the Indonesian nation. Like Majapahit, the Republic of Indonesia covers a large area and is politically centered on the island of Java. The Majapahit Empire is not only an icon of the heyday of Javanese-Hindu civilization, but also historical evidence of the socio-political struggles that occurred in the process of Islamization in the Nusantara.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out, though, how human rights is involved in mediating the conflict, in a problem, according to the development of temple services in Tlogosari Kulon, Pedurungan district, Semarang city. Based on that goal, the study uses qualitative methods. As for the research location, it is in the Tlogosari Kulon, tPedurungan district, the semarang city. The description done includes data description and data interpretation description. Based on the results of studies it can be known how human rights organizations become an agency that plays an active role in their efforts to educate, study, research, and mediation which are applied in problematic areas to the development of a house of worship in the central city of Semarang, central Java a few years ago. The reasons raised by those concerned about the establishment of religious houses are reasonable and tend to be based solely on assumptions, which, of course, are baseless and likely to divide existing diversity, and injure the values of unity.

Abstract

This paper aims to determine the role of women other than as wives and mothers of women during the COVID-19 pandemic at home. By using qualitative research methods with literature studies. Collecting data using articles, journals, books and others through the media. The results of this study indicate that women in the family have an important role, namely as wives for their husbands and as mothers for their children. And at the time of COVID-19, women were not only required to play a role, both of them were also required to be teachers of children at home during the pandemic. So women play a role from guiding the family while at home to being the frontline healing Covid-19 as doctors and nurses. In addition, women are also in a vulnerable position to experience domestic violence. The increase in cases of gender-based violence during the Covid-19 pandemic is quite worrying because it can directly reduce the fighting power of Indonesian women both physically and mentally in fighting Covid-19. Therefore, it is necessary to have high appreciation, protection, and education for women by increasing trust in women in handling Covid-19.
