Abstract

The Dulang Penamat tradition is a form of local wisdom practiced by the Sasak community as part of the Nyiwaq funeral commemoration held on the ninth night after a person's death. Beyond its religious function, the tradition embodies cultural and social values that strengthen community cohesion amid social change. This study aims to analyze the cultural meaning, implementation process, social values, and preservation of the Dulang Penamat tradition in Sukadana Village, East Lombok Regency. A descriptive-interpretative qualitative approach was employed through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving traditional leaders, religious leaders, bereaved families, and community members selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that Dulang Penamat symbolizes the completion of the nine-day prayer sequence while serving as a medium for charity, gratitude, and social solidarity. The tradition reflects religious devotion, mutual cooperation, kinship, social responsibility, and respect for the deceased, while adapting to social changes without losing its essential cultural values. The study concludes that Dulang Penamat remains an important cultural mechanism for preserving Sasak identity and sustaining intangible cultural heritage across generations.

Abstract

Employee performance is one of the important factors that determine the success of an organization in achieving its stated goals. In government organizations, especially judicial institutions, optimal employee performance is needed to support the implementation of effective, transparent, and accountable legal services. Although employee performance at the Makassar High Court shows high achievements, efforts to maintain and improve performance still need to be carried out through various influencing factors, including psychological empowerment and technical competence possessed by employees. This study aims to determine the effect of psychological empowerment and technical competence on employee performance at the Makassar High Court. The type of research used is quantitative research by utilizing 92 employees as respondents. Data analysis used multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS program version 27.0. The results of the study indicate that psychological empowerment is in a good category, but cannot improve employee performance to a higher level. Meanwhile, employees are proven to have high technical competence so that they support the creation of employee performance to a higher level.

Abstract

The movement of bank stock prices indicates the level of investor confidence in political stability, legal certainty, and the potential economic growth of a country. This serves as the fundamental argument for why it is highly important to research the factors influencing banking stock prices, such as Return on Assets (ROA) and Net Profit Margin (NPM). This study aims to analyse the effect of ROA and NPM on the stock prices of banking sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2022–2024 period. The banking sector was selected on the grounds that banking plays a crucial role in maintaining national economic stability and constitutes one of the sectors highly sought after by investors.  This research adopts a quantitative approach using the panel data regression analysis method. The research data were obtained from the annual financial statements of banking companies published via the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research population consisted of 30 listed issuers, with a sample of 25 companies selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the study indicate that a high Return on Assets is proven to increase banking stock prices. On the other hand, it is demonstrated that a high Net Profit Margin in its implementation fails to increase banking stock prices
