Abstract

Abstract

In an era of rapidly developing information, it is very important to protect data, especially for institutions that handle sensitive data. With the aim of increasing data protection, this research concentrates on analyzing the data security system in the TVRI North Sumatra network. The main focus of the research was to find weaknesses in the existing security infrastructure, such as inadequate encryption procedures and weak password policies. Additionally, malware attacks and internal risks are discussed as potential security threats. There are advantages and disadvantages to evaluating current security protocols. Although some protocols, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems, have proven successful, there is still room for improvement, especially in strengthening deeper layers of security and detecting more sophisticated attacks. This study emphasizes the importance of security awareness of TVRI North Sumatra employees and suggests training and awareness campaigns to reduce the dangers of social engineering. The results lead to policy updates, and proactive security measures. To implement these recommendations, an organized action plan and cooperation between departments is required. Regular regulatory updates, scheduled security monitoring, and investment in security technology are key to ensuring that data protection efforts continue. Overall, this research confirms that strengthening the security foundations of the TVRI North Sumatra network is critical to maintaining data confidentiality and maintaining its role as a reliable and secure information provider. This abstract provides a brief overview of the important elements of the research, provides solutions to problems encountered, and the general goal of improving data security in the TVRI North Sumatra network.

Abstract

Algorithm learning is related to computer programming, but that doesn't mean it always has to be about computer programming. An algorithm is a computer system with brainware, hardware and software that explains the stages of solving problems using a series of steps arranged systematically in a programming language. In the 21st century, programming has become a strategic skill and strength with all activities fulfilled by program devices such as laptops/pc, smartphones, and other sophisticated technology that is widely used in everyday life. The aim of writing this article is to determine the effectiveness of using Publish or Perish for students learning programming algorithms. By using a literature study method that utilizes the publish or perish application. Based on the discussion, the results showed that this application is very useful not only for students, but also for all academic circles, because the PoP application can be used to search for various sources of knowledge. The effectiveness of using the Publish or Perish application for students learning programming algorithms is also very effective and efficient, because it can improve the quality of learning and help shorten search time.

Abstract

The spread of Covid-19 or commonly known as corona is a disease originating in China, Wuhan, Hubei Province. The virus is very dangerous to humans because it has deadly symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing and the inability to speak. The algorithm is derived from the name of the very famous Arab writer Abu Ja’far Muhammad Ibnu Musa Al- Khuwarizmi. Algorithms are closely related to mathematics and also computer science. It's a system designed to solve an existing problem. A programming algorithm is a basis or foundation designed logically and systematically, with the aim of being easily followed and implemented by a computer or other data processing system. The method used is a literary method, by collecting data from several sources. In studying algorithms we will learn about flowchart and pseudocode. Where it's expected to help all students, whether they're maths students or other students.

Abstract

Independent curriculum is an educational approach that gives students the freedom to choose and structure their learning according to their interests and needs. In this context, the impact of programming algorithms on the Merdeka curriculum is an interesting research topic. A programming algorithm is a structured set of steps or procedures for completing a task on a computer. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of programming algorithms on the Merdeka curriculum and its impact on the development of students' computational and problem-solving skills. Research methods used are library research and content analysis. The findings show that applying programming algorithms to the Merdeka curriculum can bring significant benefits to students. Students learn to plan effective steps to solve a problem, divide it into small parts and organize the correct sequence of implementation. They also develop logical, analytical and creative thinking through pattern recognition, decision making and data manipulation. In addition, teaching programming algorithms in the Merdeka curriculum can help students develop broader problem-solving abilities. He learned to identify problems, design effective solutions, and test and refine the solutions. These skills can be applied in many contexts, not only in computer programming, but also in everyday life. Thus, the impact of programming algorithms on independent curriculum can make a valuable contribution to the development of students' numeracy and problem-solving skills. However, care must be taken to ensure that programming her algorithm education is guaranteed is adapted to the age and ability level of students and is presented in an interesting and interactive manner.

Abstract

To reduce patient waiting time, this research explores and implements a patient registration queue management system at the Malahayati Islamic Hospital. The method uses a research and development (RnD) approach to design, develop, and implement an efficient system for managing the patient registration process. This research involves preparation, design, development, evaluation and revision stages. It collects data through direct observation, historical analysis of wait times, and patient satisfaction questionnaires to evaluate the impact of system implementation on patient wait times, registration efficiency, and patient satisfaction. The research results show that the implementation of the queue management system has succeeded in reducing patient waiting time and increasing the efficiency of the registration process. Patient satisfaction assessments also showed that these changes were well received. The results show that the implementation of the patient registration queue management system at Malahayati Islamic Hospital improves health services and reduces patient waiting time. This research provides a basis for hospitals and other healthcare institutions to consider implementing this technology in more efficient administrative processes and increasing patient satisfaction.

Abstract

In the era of information technology, data management has become crucial for organizations. The Public Appraisal Office (KJPP) XYZ in Palembang City, despite providing accurate property analysis, is still limited to the use of hard disks, hard copies, email, and Excel. This results in a lack of integration and efficiency in their operations. Therefore, this research proposes a solution in the form of designing a data warehouse prototype using the Nine-Step Kimball method. This method is employed as a systematic approach in designing and building a data warehouse, with the aim of ensuring effective and relevant development for business needs. The design will organize data into table components, creating regularity and centralization of data to facilitate search and analysis. The inspiration for this research comes from similar implementations in online market transactions and television editorial decisions using the snowflake schema and the successful Nine-Step Kimball method. It is hoped that through this approach, KJPP XYZ can optimize access, analysis, and use of the data.

Abstract

CV Aneka Artha Niaga is a developing company which operates in the field of kassemergud vesmuving distributor. Distributor means an actor who distributes finished products from factory production in the form of packaged snacks and drinks to shops that have registered as customers. As a business that operates in the distribution sector, stock management is an important factor in the success of selling the products they offer. From availability to distribution to customers. The large amount of data that is managed makes it difficult for CV Aneka Artha Niaga to process data analysis and make decisions. This research aims to overcome existing problems at CV Aneka Artha Niaga by implementing a data warehouse with the ITL (Extract, Transform, Load) process. The method used is Kimball's nine steps. Data was collected through field observations, interviews, and the company's ERP system. The result of this research is the implementation of a data warehouse which can be the answer to the problems and information that CV Aneka Artha Niaga needs.

Abstract

In this era of digitalization, the need for efficiency and accuracy in administrative processes is becoming increasingly urgent. Technological advances have made the work of organizations easier. Letters are a very important communication tool for an organization to communicate with internal and external parties. Incoming and outgoing letters are two types of letters that are usually used in an organization. So far, archiving of incoming and outgoing letters at the North Sumatra Tourism, Culture and Creative Economy Service has been done manually, namely by writing in a ledger and the softcopy is stored in a computer folder in the office, while the hardcopy is stored in a folder which is then put in a cupboard. This process requires a lot of time and effort, and there is a possibility that data will be lost or damaged, making it difficult to assign letter numbers. The research and development (RnD) method is used to develop web-based systems. The aim of this research is to create a system for assigning good letter numbers and archiving incoming and outgoing letters that can be properly monitored. Filing of letters is done electronically, so documents are stored in softcopy form, and are accompanied by reports of incoming and outgoing letters. This helps prevent mail from being lost or damaged because the data is stored in a computer database.
