Abstract

In an era of rapidly developing information, it is very important to protect data, especially for institutions that handle sensitive data. With the aim of increasing data protection, this research concentrates on analyzing the data security system in the TVRI North Sumatra network. The main focus of the research was to find weaknesses in the existing security infrastructure, such as inadequate encryption procedures and weak password policies. Additionally, malware attacks and internal risks are discussed as potential security threats. There are advantages and disadvantages to evaluating current security protocols. Although some protocols, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems, have proven successful, there is still room for improvement, especially in strengthening deeper layers of security and detecting more sophisticated attacks. This study emphasizes the importance of security awareness of TVRI North Sumatra employees and suggests training and awareness campaigns to reduce the dangers of social engineering. The results lead to policy updates, and proactive security measures. To implement these recommendations, an organized action plan and cooperation between departments is required. Regular regulatory updates, scheduled security monitoring, and investment in security technology are key to ensuring that data protection efforts continue. Overall, this research confirms that strengthening the security foundations of the TVRI North Sumatra network is critical to maintaining data confidentiality and maintaining its role as a reliable and secure information provider. This abstract provides a brief overview of the important elements of the research, provides solutions to problems encountered, and the general goal of improving data security in the TVRI North Sumatra network.

Abstract

The utilization of information technology inside the Research and Development Agency of North Sumatra (BAPELITBANG SUMUT) has a significant impact on data security. The objective of this study is to evaluate the issue of data security at the Research and Development Agency of North Sumatra (BAPELITBANG SUMUT) and propose solutions to enhance data security. Infrastructure technology, security policies, access management, and user awareness are components of vulnerability identification. Dalam rangka memperoleh pemahaman yang komprehensif mengenai tingkat efektivitas tindakan keamanan yang telah dilaksanakan, diperlukan suatu evaluasi terhadap system keamanan yang sedang berjalan. In addition, the study assesses the extent to which BAPELITBANG SUMUT complies with the applicable security regulations. This study provides a foundation for enhancing data security comprehensively by designing and implementing efforts to improve information protection, such as security policy updates, infrastructure enhancements, and user training. Pengujian dan evaluasi implementasi upaya penguatan digunakan untuk menilai tingkat efektivitasnya. The objective of this study is to provide guidance for similar institutions in enhancing their data security and contribute to the literature on local government data security management. The results indicate that measures to enhance data security are necessary to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data managed by BAPELITBANG SUMUT..

Abstract

Yayasan Perguruan IRA, sebagai sebuah institusi pendidikan yang terus berkembang, dihadapkan pada berbagai tantangan dalam pengelolaan informasi secara efektif dan efisien. Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) dianggap sebagai solusi strategis dalam menangani kompleksitas administratif dan operasional yayasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang serta mengimplementasikan SIM yang mampu mengintegrasikan berbagai fungsi manajerial, termasuk administrasi siswa, keuangan, sumber daya manusia, serta pengelolaan aset. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan SIM di Yayasan Perguruan IRA mampu meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, ketepatan data, serta kualitas pelayanan. Selain itu, sistem ini memfasilitasi proses pemantauan dan pengambilan keputusan yang lebih efektif bagi manajemen yayasan. Dengan demikian, SIM berperan sebagai instrumen vital dalam mendukung kemajuan serta profesionalisme Yayasan Perguruan IRA.

Abstract

Broccoli farmers or novice broccoli growers have problems knowing the diseases that attack their broccoli plants. Because of this problem there is often a delay in handling which can cause death and can also transmit disease to other broccoli plants so that disease in plants causes a decrease in crop quality and yield. Efforts made to assist farmers in cultivating broccoli plants quickly provide information to farmers so that they know about plant diseases that attack the plants they are treating with a system that can make it easier for farmers to find out earlier about the condition of broccoli plants. The system that was built uses the assurance factor method to get accurate disease diagnosis results. The application is made in the form of an expert system that is useful for diagnosing broccoli plant diseases besides that it will make it easier for farmers to find solutions for handling broccoli plants.

Abstract

Information technology has developed very rapidly and covers various fields. The education sector is one area that is influenced by information technology. Both in the formal learning process at school and non-formal in the form of training outside of school. The form of participation from universities, especially the Computer Science study program FST UIN North Sumatra Medan in this community service activity is providing skills training in the field of Augmented Reality to create learning media for teachers at the Mamiyai Al-Ittihadiyah Medan College Foundation. Abstract

The aim of this research is to apply the methodK-Medoisin categorizing the illnesses of patients at the RSUBandar Khalippa Medika PartnersMedan. And to produce a system for grouping patient data based on Rapidminer and Google Colab on patient diseases.Based on the results of research on the application of the K-Medoids algorithm, it was found that the grouping of patient diseases at RSU Mitra Medika Bandar Khalippa used the RapidMiner application with a C0 (High) cluster of 3 diseases, a C1 (Medium) cluster of 6 diseases and a C2 (Low) cluster of 1 disease. Meanwhile, using the Google Colabs application with a C0 (High) cluster of 3 diseases, a C1 (Medium) cluster of 4 diseases and a C2 (Low) cluster of 3 diseases. The results of grouping patient disease data at RSU Mitra Medika Bandar Khalippa using RapidMiner, it was found that the disease with the highest grouping (C0)is a diseasePulmonary tuberculosis, Essential Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus. Whereasgrouping patient disease datawith Google Colabs it was found that the disease with the highest grouping (C0)is a diseaseBronchus Or Lung, Trachea, Bronchus And Lung and Pleural Effusion. Abstract

Lake Toba is one of the tourism destinations in Indonesia which is the main destination for domestic and foreign tourists. However, the natural beauty of Lake Toba is not enough to develop quality tourist destinations, so analysis needs to be carried out in order to develop tourist destinations that suit tourist needs with the aim of improving the economy from tourism, especially at Lake Toba. One aspect that must be analyzed is comments from tourists who have visited Lake Toba via various platforms. This is very influential for potential future tourists to have a reference for Lake Toba tourism. The analysis process can be carried out by analyzing comments using the Naive Bayes method so that managers of the Lake Toba tourist destination can improve tourist attractions and provide tourist satisfaction and develop various tourism innovations to meet various tourist needs in a sustainable manner. The results of the sentiment analysis of Lake Toba tourist reviews using Naive Bayes detected 31 positive labels, 378 neutral labels and 7 negative labels with an accuracy result of 77.49% from 1260 data, where training data was 1008 and test data was 252 data.

Abstract

In the era of globalisation and increasingly fierce market competition, companies are striving to improve their operational efficiency and marketing strategies to maintain market share and increase revenue. PT Unilever Tbk, as one of the multinational companies that operates various types of consumer products, including dental care products such as Pepsodent, requires reliable sales prediction to maximise its product performance in the market. The main objectives of this research are to apply the K-Nearest Neighbor method to Unilever pepsodent products in a prediction model that can preprocess pepsodent product data for the last 1 year using Rapid Miner and to measure the accuracy of Pepsodent product sales predictions. The data used is the number of stocks, types of pepsodent, sales, seasonal factors. From the results of analysis and evaluation, it can be concluded that the prediction accuracy in the K-NN algorithm is able to provide fairly accurate sales predictions for Pepsodent Whitening products with a value of 161, 186, 165 equally 114. Pepsodent Economy with a value of 982 predictions 1021, a value of 638 and 774 predictions are both 927. Pepsodent Herbal with a value of 173 predicted 193 and a value of 129 and 118 predicted values are both 207. Accurate sales predictions are helpful in production planning and marketing strategies, which in turn can improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The K-NN algorithm proved to be effective in this case, although proper selection of the K parameter is essential to obtain the best results.

Abstract

Pada era globalisasi dan kompetisi bisnis yang semakin ketat, perusahaan-perusahaan di berbagai sektor industri berlomba-lomba untuk memahami dan memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan mereka. Mixue adalah perusahaan yang beroperasi di industri makanan dan minuman yang telah berkembang pesat. Mixue berusaha untuk merancang beragam produk minuman yang memenuhi preferensi pelanggan. Dalam memenuhi preferensi pelanggan, perlu adanya pemahaman yang mendalam tentang minat pelanggan agar dapat mengembangkan produk-produk yang sesuai dengan minat mereka berdasarkan kata favorit mereka. Metode GVSM adalah salah satu metode yang digunakan dalam mengetahaui pencarian kata favorit. GVSM menggabungkan aspek-aspek dari Vector Space Model (VSM) dan Generalized VSM untuk memberikan hasil yang lebih akurat dan relevan untuk mencari hasil dari pencarian berdasarkan kata kunci yang dimasukkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa dalam menerapkan Metode Generalized Vektor Space Model (GVSM) dalam menentukan kata kunci yang akan digunakan untuk dikaitkan dengan kesembilan belas dokumen (term) menunjukkan bahwa D1, D3 dan D5 memiliki nilai similaritas yang sama dan tertinggi dengan kata kunci, sedangkan D2, D4 dan D6 memiliki nilai similaritas terendah dari kata kunci. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kata yang paling favorit yang menjadi sebab pengunjung memiliki minatterhadap Mixue adalah kata “pilihan” yaitu sebesar 0,4909114594763.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest countries producing palm oil. The problems that often arise in oil palm seedlings are pest attacks. Oil palm seedlings diagnosed with pest attacks can be characterized by existing symptoms. Based on the phenomena that occurred, researchers created a system for diagnosing pests in oil palm seed plants, so that they could diagnose quickly and find solutions to pest problems in oil palm seed plants. This research uses a development method called waterfall. The design of this research is to plan an Expert System for Diagnosing Pests on Oil Palm Seed Plants Using the Certainty Factor Method. Based on the tests that have been carried out, the results are that the community or farmers on oil palm plantations can easily diagnose pests on oil palm seed plants in real time as long as they are connected to the internet to help diagnose pests on oil palm seed plants. Testing of the expert system showed a high level of accuracy in diagnosing pests on oil palm seedlings. The level of suitability accuracy reached more than 90%. With this expert system, oil palm plantation management can be improved significantly. Early detection of pest attacks will reduce the losses incurred and allow more effective preventive measures to be taken.
