Abstract

This article aimed to give the teachers an encouragement to be a vivid person to develop a learning approach namely project-based learning on the New Paradigma Curriculum for teacher of Elementary School. To develop an encouragement to the teacher. The practitioner tried to give an insight about educational system related to skills for students, the role of teacher, learning approach and characteristic of project based learning (PBL). To grasp the teachers’ comprehension to learning approach especially in PBL, the practitioner presented the diagram result of insight regarding on educational system. The result showed the teacher mostly have understood to the educational system. Indeed, partly, the other teachers were enough understanding to the educational system

Abstract

The goal of this community service is to educate teachers at SDN 2 Alalak Batola on the new paradigm curriculum. This community service program lasted three days and also was attended by all of the teachers. The main activity begins with an introduction to the new paradigm curriculum, including understanding, stages, benefits, and drawbacks, and is followed by concrete examples of learning approaches based on previous research findings. The outcomes of this service show that teachers' understanding and skills are improving, allowing them to support learning in the classroom.

Abstract

Slum area has been a serious matter to any city in the world. Banjarmasin has been struggling to minimize the percentage of its slum area. Some of it are located in Pelambuan, Kuin Cerucuk and Teluk Dalam districts. This community service intended to give an understanding regarding recommendation concept to revitalize slum area in those districts through series of community assistance. The method used was a combination of community education and dialogue focused on building quality improvement. The target group were people of Pelambuan, Kuin Cerucuk and Teluk Dalam district. Results show that the community agreed to control the land intensity of the area based on building base coefficient of 60-80%, as well as maintaining open space below their house for river flow.

Abstract

This community service activity is to improve the knowledge and dental health status of children at State Kindergarten 1 Pembina Palembang City, with the use of irene's donuts media, in an effort to support the Indonesia caries-free action program in 2030. Efforts made so far have not obtained optimal results, so it is necessary to make efforts to prevent caries early through the Innovative UKGS program in which there is the use of irene's donut media. The community service carried out is a Community Partnership Program. The target was to increase the knowledge and oral health status of children at State Kindergarten 1 Pembina Palembang City. The results of this activity are increased maternal knowledge, children's dental health status and can detect caries early. They participated in this activity from the initial stage to the assistance, they really felt the positive impact of this community service activity, so that their oral health status became better than before.

Abstract

Attempting to develop and control the quality of nursing education embodied by developing a field of nursing practice accompanied by nursing resources development for which carry out learning experiences properly. One of which is administer preceptorship training for both academic and clinical preceptors to be able to provide a proper mentoring process. It is expected that the students competency could be achieved. This preceptorship training aims to upgrade the mentoring process. This training used the Preceptorship-mentor model approach and held for 2 days at the Regional General Hospital Balangan with a total of 25 participants. Training methods use lectures, discussions and role plays. The evaluation were carried out by means of a pre and post test. The conclusion: participants knowledge about preceptorship and mentorship increased after following the training. It is expected that the institution of nurse education could be provide preceptorship training regularly to develop quality of nursing education.
