Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the difficulty of learning mathematics in elementary age children. The focus of this research is on informants with the initials MI, students of SD Negeri 18 Sisumut. The collection of information used in this observation is research, interviews, Draw a Person-IQ tests, and the V.I.I Learning Difficulty Scale test. From the results of research and interviews, students with the initials MI often play and are less able to do the assignments given. The process of identifying student learning difficulties using the Draw a Person-IQ test, and the V.I.I. Learning Difficulty Scale test. After recognizing students' learning difficulties using this scale, it was found that MI students had learning difficulties in the areas of writing and reading. By knowing the types of learning difficulties, teachers can choose the right type of intervention, effective and efficient to be given in helping students overcome learning difficulties.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of fast counting learning media as an effort to increase interest in learning mathematics for lower grade students. The type of this research is qualitative using descriptive analytical study method. Obtaining data through observation, interview and documentation techniques. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, as well as testing the validity of research data using triangulation techniques. The results of this study concluded that learning mathematics provides examples of cases to be solved by each student and must also be able to increase students' interest in learning mathematics. It can also create and create students' natural ability to solve problems. Thus, it forms creativity according to the potential of students. With the help of interesting learning media, it can foster students' enthusiasm and ability to solve problems.

Abstract

This article aims to find out how learning mathematics in the "Bangun Datar" material with the RME (Realistic Mathematika Education) approach improves students' mathematics learning outcomes using the RME approach on data building material. The instrument used in this study is observing the steps in the RME approach, namely relating, experiencing, applying, Cooperating, and Transferring. At this time, RME supports learning mathematics in "flat-up" material. With this approach, students are expected to be able to be active in the RME system or approach in the learning process. In this learning, students think creatively, because mathematics provides new information for students in understanding the concept of "flat wake".

Abstract

Every human being is created to have an element of intelligence. Intelligence is widely understood to be only intelligence, but there is still emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence. A person's intelligence can be seen from the habituation of the students in worshiping and practicing the teachings of Islam that they know. This research was conducted to find out the various program activities carried out by the students at the Ummi Kartini III Quran House in Medan. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method to assess the spiritual intelligence of students before the Covid 19 pandemic and after the Covid 19 pandemic. Data collection was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the spiritual intelligence of the students of the Ummi Kartini III Medan Quran House increased and developed. One of the causes is the existence of various Islamic studies and religious programs carried out at the Ummi Kartini III Medan Quran House which requires students to be better in the future in terms of worship and daily life according to Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Expansion of results on learning materials to estimate time by involving hours media in class V SDN 106162 Medan Estate. This exploration aims to describe the learning outcomes of class V SDN 106162 Medan Estate using a wall clock. The testing technique used is an illustrative strategy with a collaborative framework between specialists, supervisors, and partners who are associated with a group of scientists. Based on the assessment of the progress of the surrogate value of the results on the extended cycle the surrogate study achieved yields from 60% to 75%, and the cycles went from 75% to 85.83%. This means that the watch media can build a side effect of concentrating on Class V SDN 106162 Medan Estate in learning mathematics on the subject of time measurement.
