Abstract

Literary works can be used as a means of caring for the earth. Nature is seen as an object so that human treatment of nature does not provide reciprocity. nature is gradually being degraded. Thus, this study focuses on discussing literary works related to the issue of nature being exploited through the agricultural system. The purpose of this study is to reveal what environmental problems are represented in the novel Kailasa by Jusuf AN as a form of ecocriticism. The eco-critical theory which is based on Cheryll Goltfelty's view is used as a reference in discussing the problem of the relationship between literature and the physical environment. Ecocriticism views the basic relationship that all human culture is connected to the physical world, influencing and being influenced by both the biosphere and the ecosphere. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. The result identifies that anthropocentrism causes exploitation of nature and environment in Kailasa. It also identifies that the Kailasa community experienced a change in eco-consciousness to ego-consciousness; the change was motivated by a material-oriented life for economic purposes.

Abstract

Student semester VII of the University PBSI Study Program Ahmad Dahlan class 2015/2016 experienced barriers in writing thesis proposal. A frequent obstacle is the error in the manufacture of sentences. Fenonema is quite interesting that the implementation of this study. The purpose of this study was for mendeskripikan the error in the use of sentences. The research proposal owned 46 student manuscripts belonging to the PBSI Study program in 2019 became a research subject. The research object is a sentence found on student research proposal semester VII Study program 2019. Data collection is carried out in an observation way. The data collected are then analyzed using a method at reference and distribusional method with technique for direct elements. Intra-rater and inter-rater were chosen to examine the validity of the data. The conclusion of the results of the analysis that the error of sentence usage only consists of the subject was only 96 sentences, sentences without the subject of 62 sentences. Mistake sentences without a subject and without predicated as many as 62 sentences. Sentence mistakes without predicated as many as 10 sentences. Meanwhile, errors in the subject use of the subject say in front as many as 16 sentences, the error in the use of the object said in front as many as 19 sentences. At the use of conjunction with a compound sentence, equivalent to conjunction with conjunction, while at the beginning of the sentence of 21 sentences, the use of conjunction and at the beginning of 9 sentences, the use of conjunction with conjunction and at the beginning of the sentence was 4 sentences, and the use of conjunction or at the beginning of the sentence. Furthermore, mistakes are found to use of conjunctions, if they have 13 sentences, conjunctions but 5 sentences, use for as many as 3 sentences, use of conjunctions, the use of conjunction with a number of sentences and use of conjunctions and serve as many as one sentence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk skema siksa neraka pada syair “Bayan Budiman”. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, kemudian subjek penelitainnya adalah syair “Bayan Budiman. Sedangkan objek penelitian yang digunakan berupa objek material dan objek formal. Objek materialnya adalah syair “Bayan Budiman” dan objek formalnya adalah struktur naratif. Teknik yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik baca. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa didalam syair “Bayan Budiman” ditemukan skema tentang siksa neraka dalam bait 221-231, dengan bentuk skema berupa ζ– ζ – a – ζ – N – N – a – γ – N – a –N – ζ – a - β - Rs – γ – a – N – a – N.

Abstract

This development research is motivated by the problem of using electronic media, namely e-modules with unattractive designs so that students are reluctant to read material that does not have developments that attract students' interest in reading. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a debate text e-module using a critical thinking strategy that combines the direct learning process through face-to-face and online learning with an attractive e-module design quality and increases students' reading interest. The results of this study indicate that the learning model that have been developed can be categorized as “Very Eligible”. This is evidenced by the average score of 89. The average score obtained from material experts is 85, from media experts is 96, and from teaching experts is 87. 85. Based on this, it can be concluded that the e-development design Debate text module through critical thinking strategy In SMA Class X is feasible to be implemented, it is expected to be a supplement in learning so that students are more active and independent.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pentingnya apresiasi terhadap karya sastra dan pemanfaatannya dalam penggalian nilai lokalitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik studi pustaka atau kajian literatur. Data diinterpretasi dengan teori analisis tekstual dan konteksutal. Hasilnya adalah keberadaan karya sastra penting mendapat apresiasi. Karya sastra memiliki jalinan makna yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari realitas sosial. Karya sastra adalah mimesi atau tiruan yang mencermikan peristiwa sosial. Karya sastra terikat dengan nilai-nilai lokal sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai dokumen peristiwa sosial dan budaya, serta sejarah peradaban.
