Conference on Community Engagement Project -Community service is one of pillars in Three Pillars of Higher Education. Community service is the implementation of practice of science, technology, and arts to the society institutionally through research methodology as the implementation of Three Pillars of Higher Education and responsibility to improve the ability of society. Therefore, it can accelerate the growth rate of the national development goals. To support the practice of community service, UIB Research and Community Service Center organize a Conference on Community Engagement Project (ConCEPt) that is attended by lecturers and students from both domestic and overseas universities. This conference is expected to significantly spread impact the results of community service that are directly implemented to society and spread information about science, technology, and arts to society.

Abstract

Intellectual property is the result of human thought in which there are moral rights and economic rights that are specifically attached to the creator and are protected by the state as part of human rights. Intellectual property registration is a process carried out to obtain a creation registration letter as part of the legal protection effort for the rights of the creator. However, this intellectual property registration process is a separate problem for the creators because in its implementation it is considered to still cause various obstacles. This community service program aims to provide facilities and educational facilities for the community in the intellectual property registration process for their work. The method of implementing this community service activity is to use the partner data collection method, discuss the details of the copyright registration fee with partners, and register the copyright for the partner's song.

Abstract

CV Badai Arta Permata’s accounting bookkeeping activities still apply manual recording which can cause the project report and financial report not to provide relevant information such as cost by project, profit or loss statement by the project. This community service aims to generate bookkeeping software as per transactions that have occurred at CV Badai Arta Permata. In collecting information, the author uses the method of observation and interview. We use evidence of transactions based on the business operations as our reference to generate bookkeeping software that uses Microsoft Access. The output of bookkeeping software includes an account list, supplier list, customer list, and ledger. Moreover, transactions output includes general journal form, adjusting journal form, purchase form, sales form, receipt form, payment form. After bookkeeping, we generate a system around financial reports such as a statement of profit or loss, statement of financial position, purchase report, sales report. We contribute to providing the information of cost by project, profit or loss by the project.

Abstract

Representatives from members of DPR RI Cen Sui Lan who is located at the Orchid Business Center are important to assist Ms. Cen Sui Lan in introducing her work projects, one of which is KOTAKU. KOTAKU program has several outcomes to be achieved and one of them is the construction of an Open Public Area (OPA) in Batam. The lack of 3D animation as a medium is the main problem in the introduction of the output because it is still in the form of a 3D model. The method that will be used is applied research starting from problem identification, content design, content development, content testing to content evaluation. The results of this study are in the form of a video file that briefly describes the KOTAKU project using motion graphics and the OPA architectural 3D animation that will be sent using the (.mp4) format. With the development of this video, the recipient can use the video as a medium for delivering information which is expected to introduce the KOTAKU project, especially in the construction of the OPA in Batam.

Abstract

The number of cases of environmental damage and pollution that occurred in Batam has made the Environmental Service (Dinas Lingkungan Hidup/DLH) create a complaint station a forum for the public to be able to report all allegations related to the occurrence of environmental pollution and/or damage. The increasing number of cases of environmental damage and pollution is indicated by the increasing number of complaints reported by the public to the agency and the many obstacles faced by the community. The purpose of this activity, among others, is to find out the requirements for public complaints and provide information about the flow of complaints handling carried out by the DLH Batam City so that the information obtained is accurate enough to make the public more sensitive to the surrounding environment to report any pollution actions. The implementation method in carrying out PKM activities passes through several stages. At the initial stage, PKM preparations were carried out to the relevant agencies. The next stage will be observation and identification of the subject matter and carry out data collection which will be analyzed at the Batam City Environmental Service. The author makes a project output design based on practical workplace conditions. At the last stage the author makes a PKM report. The results of this PKM show information regarding the complain station in the settlement of alleged cases of environmental damage and pollution based on the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment Number 22 of 2017 concerning procedures for managing complaints of alleged environmental pollution/damage and destruction. Abstract

Worker is an important position in the life of a country because it is a factor that determines the material and cultural success of the country itself. Therefore, it is necessary to adopt the best arrangements for various employment issues, workers rights to support work and a decent living. Law Number 13 concerning Manpower Year 2003 regulates various matters relating to the protection of workers, including the right to fair wages, leave rights including the right to legal certainty, and changes in the status of workers (contract workers) for a certain period of time. The reform of laws and regulations in the field of manpower aims to provide justice and protection for workers, as well as fulfill the mission of the 1945 Constitution, namely the achievement and social development of Indonesian society as a whole. The development of the Indonesian people as a whole, increasing the dignity, and entrepreneurial values ​​of the Indonesian nation, as well as realizing a prosperous, and materially and spiritually. The implementation of this Community Service uses the Advocacy method to assist partners (employers) in improving legal documents/property agreements. The results achieved in this Community Service are the draft of Permanent Employment Contract and draft of the Company Regulations after modernized.

Abstract

One of the MSMEs in Batam named PT. Batam Flooring System does not have a proper accounting system. PT. Batam Flooring System also does not make its own company reports but relies on the services of a tax consultant. Therefore, the purpose of this community service is to help PT. Batam Flooring System to have financial statement reporting with a good system-based accounting system such as Microsoft Access. The method of data collection is using methods of interview, observation, and documentation. The result of the community’s service is a Microsoft Access accounting system that will be implemented at PT. Batam Flooring System and is expected to be useful and able to assist the recording of PT. Batam Flooring System. There are also recommendations for further community service to provide innovations and solutions that are even more useful and attractive to other MSMEs.

Abstract

This internship aims to overcome the problems at PT Sat Nusapersada in the need for employees to follow ESD procedures in the manufacturing industry because of their lack of education in ESD procedures. Internship activities are carried out during the period 15 March 2021 till 15 September 2021. The method used in the implementation of this internship is observation, design, and implementation.This internship resulted in a documented internal application for the company. The outputs submitted to the company include data on company assets, employee liabilities, and company profiles. The supporting documents include a questionnaire on the use of internal applications within the company. The SOP application for ESD is designed using HTML and CSS programming languages. This application is designed starting from an easy-to-use interface and the availability of the material in the form of videos, PDFs, and PowerPoint. This application design has been successful and can display the appropriate design. This application has also been used in several areas within the Pegatron department at PT Sat Nusapersada as an application to make it easier to find information about ESD.

Abstract

An employment contract is an agreement that is agreed between workers and employers in written and oral forms that exist regarding parts of the rights and obligations of both parties in accordance with applicable regulations. With the existence of a work contract agreement that is approved by both parties, it is already in a legal bond that must be carried out if it is not implemented then there are penalties for those who violate it for workers or employers. In the employment contract, there are many things that must be considered so that the parties must read more carefully in an agreement to get a profit or loss in the written employment contract. Employment contracts usually provide losses for parties who violate the employment contract which can get fair punishment for both parties. Written or oral employment contracts are made in the workplace or a room that can be explained or read in their entirety to understand the contents of the agreement determined by the company. Employment contracts are also used to avoid unwanted events by the company and to carry out cooperation with the company properly without any obstacles or unwanted events occurring. In the case of an employment contract, it is necessary to know the contents of the employment contract agreement that makes both parties feel balance or commensurate with the advantages and disadvantages signed by the worker.

Abstract

With so many competitors in this business, a strategy is needed to maximize sales from this business. The promotion mix strategy can be a way to solve this problem. The promotion mix strategy used in this activity is advertising, sales promotion, and direct marketing. In carrying out this activity carried out by interviews and observations. The resulting strategies are advertising, sales promotion, and direct marketing. This strategy resulted in product catalogs, advertisements on social media, stamp cards, and letters of cooperation agreements with large companies. The result of the implementation of this activity is that the strategy can be applied in this business and has been able to increase sales. The recommendations for this activity are to adjust the location of the business and also what is needed by the business owners.

Lyn'z Health & Beauty Care is a business engaged in health and beauty services. The reason for the owner of the brand is notregistering the "Lyn'z Health & Beauty Care" Brand yet is because the ownerof brand is unfamiliar with the trademark registration procedure, which is can conducted online via the DJKI website. Therefore,to do proper mark registration, it is necessary to provide assistance. The purpose of this community service is to register the MSME brand. There are 3 stages that used for implementation method., First stage is to identify problems owned by partner , The second stage is to have a preparation for solving partner problem and the And the third stage is implementation . The result of this community service is the registration of the Lyn'z Health & Beauty Care MSME brand, as provenby the receipt of an online application for the Lyn'z Health & Beauty Care Mark registration
