Abstract

Indoctrination is a term that refers to the act of instilling certain doctrines or beliefs into the mind of a person or group. During the old order in Indonesia, indoctrination was carried out in all fields including education which was specifically used to instill values and beliefs in the country's philosophy, namely Pancasila. In emphasizing indoctrination, the education system specifically followed the decree issued by the president regarding the cultivation of Pancasila values. This can be seen with the birth of civic education subjects as a support, even the education system in the colonial era was also replaced in order to achieve a social life that fully loves the country.

Abstract

This article aims to find out the handling of archives and implementation of archive rescue policies at archival institutions in Indonesia. The method used is the study of literature obtained from Government Regulations, article’s journals and the internet. The results showed that the realization of the rescue of archives in archival institutions in Indonesia has been referred to the policy of saving archives. But in the process, there are still obstacles that occur in the activities of saving archives.

Abstract

Endophytic fungi are microorganisms that live symbiotically with plant tissue. In general endophytic fungi capable to producing secondary metabolite compounds similar to their host and has various potential biological activities. The goals of this research is to identify the endophytic fungi species of the Avicennia Marina (Forssk.) Vierh. This research was conducted through the isolation from leaf, twig and root of Avicennia Marina (Forssk.) Vierh. on PDA (potato dextrose agar). There are 8 isolates of endophytic fungi achieved from isolation with diverse genera: Arthrinium, Aspergillus and Phomopsis.

Abstract

This article delves into the fundamental components of educational scholarship, focusing on the concept of human nature within the realm of Islamic thought. Recognizing five key elements in educational studies—namely, the concept of humanity, educational goals, learners, educators, and the learning process—the article places particular emphasis on the concept of humanity. Human beings, considered unique and enigmatic creatures, possess the dual capacity to be educated (as learners) and to educate (as educators), making them central to the aims and processes of education. The article draws from various perspectives, including philosophical and Quranic viewpoints, to elucidate the profound nature of humanity. From a philosophical standpoint, ancient Greek philosophers such as Plato and Aristotle are invoked to explore the complexities of the human body and soul. Islamic philosophers like Ibn 'Arabi and Al-Farabi are also referenced to highlight the significance of human intellect and spirituality. In the context of Islam, the quest for self-discovery through intellectual capabilities becomes imperative. The Quranic perspective underscores the importance of contemplating one's essence and encourages seeking truth through reference to the Quran as the foundational framework for Islamic thought. Methodologically, this article adopts a literature review approach, specifically a critical descriptive analysis. Drawing from a range of educational experts' articles and journals, the research aims to unravel the Quranic perspective on the essence of humanity. The results and discussions section explores the linguistic and terminological origins of the term "human" in various languages, emphasizing the dual material and spiritual nature of human existence. Noteworthy philosophical perspectives from ancient Greek philosophers to Islamic scholars such as Al-Farabi are presented to underscore the intricacies of the relationship between the body and soul. The article also delves into the Quranic and Hadith narratives on the creation of humanity, elucidating the two stages of human creation: the first being the creation of the first human (Adam), and the second involving the descent of humanity from Adam. The Quranic verses and Hadith are cited to explain the intricate stages of human formation from clay to the infusion of the divine spirit, providing a comprehensive understanding of the process. In conclusion, this article offers a comprehensive exploration of the concept of human nature from philosophical and Quranic perspectives, shedding light on the profound nature of human existence and its significance in the realm of education.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of the use of technology and social media on the spiritual experience of Christian believers in the contemporary context. With the rapid development of information technology and the widespread use of social media, questions about how this affects the spiritual dimensions of the lives of Christians become increasingly relevant. This literature review focuses on the analysis of various sources that encompass key aspects of the interaction between technology, social media, and spiritual experience. Firstly, the research explores how Christians use social media as a channel to participate in spiritual activities such as prayer, online worship services, and electronic or digital Bible reading. Subsequently, the study considers the impact of forming spiritual identity online and how the use of social media can shape individual perceptions of faith and spiritual practices. The analysis also involves considerations of ethics and morality related to the use of spiritual technology, including issues such as privacy, the reliability of spiritual teachings, and the impact of influential spiritual figures in the online world. The research also discusses changes in church engagement through technology, considering how churches utilize social media to communicate, convey spiritual messages, and facilitate community interaction. Thus, this research strives to provide deeper insights into the role of technology and social media in shaping and transforming the spiritual experience of Christian believers in this digital era.

Abstract

Land use change or changes in land use are basically the impact of the increasingly rapid population growth in an area as well as the increasing needs of the community for land. by increasing or decreasing other land use classifications from one time to the next, in other words there is a shift in the function of land use as a result of population growth factors such as the case of changing the use of agricultural land to built-up land. This research uses coordinate accuracy testing to determine the differences between the data size field with size data on the edited image. Accuracy checking is carried out using GCP coordinates and distance, it is known that the degree of accuracy depends on the RMS coordinate error or whether or not the RMS distance error value is large, and this research also uses interpretation accuracy testing, the stage of searching for Overall Accuracy calculates the overall percentage of accuracy for the overall interpretation accuracy class is 82 % produce good or decent overall accuracy if using an accuracy reference that is considered appropriate for using satellite imagery of 80% - 85%,.

Abstract

With the rise of corruption cases, law enforcement officers who should be able to actualize legal norms actually experience malpractice in the legal profession. There are 5 (five) ethical pillars of the Corruption Eradication Commission, namely Religiosity, Integrity, Justice, Professionalism and Leadership, in enforcing them there is a need to measure the extent to which the Corruption Eradication Committee can carry out its role in implementing these principles. This qualitative research is normative research, namely by examining literature books, legislation and other written materials. The results of the research, in reality, there were several cases of violations of the code of ethics. And the occurrence of several cases at the Corruption Eradication Commission shows that there has been a failure in this profession. The conclusion is that, the existence of a code of ethics for the legal profession is an important and closely related part of regulating the behavior of the Corruption Eradication Commission as an embodiment of good and fair law enforcement.

Abstract

Judges who act as executors and spearheads of justice and interact with the public are expected to have high professionalism in considering and making legal decisions in a case. In carrying out their duties, a judge is required to comply with the applicable code of ethics. When a judge violates the professional code of ethics, he will be given sanctions according to the violation he has committed. The case of violating the code of ethics that recently occurred was the case regarding Anwar Usman as Chairman of the Constitutional Court who was proven to have violated the professional code of ethics for judges in relation to Decision Number 90/PUU-XXI/2023. The aim of this research is to find out the accountability of a judge who has violated the professional code of ethics and to know the role of the Honorary Council of the Constitutional Court in handling cases of violations of the code of ethics committed by constitutional judges. This research uses a normative juridical method by referring to legal norms contained in statutory regulations as well as legal norms that exist in society. An approach that refers to applicable laws and regulations including principles, principles and doctrine. Judges who violate the code of ethics can impose three types of sanctions taking into account the background, level of seriousness and consequences of the violation. The Honorary Council of the Constitutional Court is an instrument formed by the Constitutional Court with the aim of maintaining and upholding honor, nobility and dignity. The authority possessed by the Honorary Council of the Constitutional Court includes maintaining the dignity and honor of the Constitutional Court, examining and deciding on allegations of violations of the code of ethics and behavior of constitutional judges.

Abstract

The philosophy of Islamic education is essentially a concept of thinking about education that is sourced or based on the teachings of the Islamic religion. The philosophy of Islamic education is a discussion of the nature of Muslims' abilities to be nurtured, developed and guided, so that they become human beings whose entire personality is imbued with Islamic teachings. This journal tries to discuss the function of Islamic philosophy and the benefits of studying Islamic philosophy. The approach used in studying this topic is a literature study in which the literature taken is adjusted to the subject matter and analyzed in depth so that conclusions, findings can be drawn and can be studied as source of information in the future.

Abstract

To find out the role of students in the security of the campus environment and find out the factors that cause security and comfort in the campus environment. This research method uses qualitative research with a case study approach which aims to obtain a picture of the actual situation at the location through collecting existing data. Based on research results, students play an important role as agents of change and social control in social life, especially in the campus environment. Students as agents of change must be able to champion changes in the security of the campus environment. Therefore, in this case, students as agents of change can make changes by going directly into the community to help solve various social problems faced by society, especially in the campus environment. and also from the results of our research we found efforts to maintain campus security from acts of theft, namely that security guards can give warnings and carry out controls every day, and security guards can also take action if the perpetrator of the theft is known to have committed theft and the perpetrator is caught by the security guard. Apart from security guards, students also play an important role in maintaining the security of the campus environment, but in reality students lack awareness in maintaining campus security. The security guard's job in protecting the campus environment will run well if there is good cooperation with students so that they can maintain campus security and as a last resort, the campus can also install more CCTV so that the perpetrators feel free to carry out their mission.
