Abstract

Education is one kinds of human modal investation which determines the qualityof human resourcesin a nation. The current problems which are faced by teachers is the remarkable duty and responsbilityas the demand of their profession,but in the other hand they also face the inadequacy of what theycan get from their profession. Whereas, it is highly required for teachers to increase the quality ofstudsents and create good students.The objective of this study is to find out the impact of the wellbeing,leadeship behavior moderated by organizational culture and organizational commitment towardteacher performance in 4 state Junior High Schools in kendari. The population was 380 teachers andthe samplewas 79 respondents which used proposive random sampling technique. The analysis usedstructural equation modeling wich alternative method of Partial Least Square (PLS)The result showedas follows: (1). There was a significant positive impact of well-being toward techer performance. (2).There was unsignificant positive impact of well-being toward organizational commitment. (3) Therewas unsignificant positive impact of leadership behavior toward organizational commitme. (4) Therewas a significant positive impact of leadership behavior moderated by organizational culture towrdorganizational commiment. (5) There was a signifikan positive impact of leadership behavior towardperformance. (6) There was a singnificant positive impact of organizational commitment towardteacher performance.Keywords: Well-being, Leadership Behavior moderated by Organizational Culture, OrganizationalCommitment, and Teacher Performance.

Abstract

This research is conducted for testing the influence of debt to equity ratio, insider ownership andfirm size to price book value with the dividend payout ratio as the intervening variable in the firmsregistered at Indonesian Capital Market in the period of 2010 through 2013. Sampling techniqueapplied in this research is purposive sampling. The data are collected based on the publication ofIndonesian Capital Market Directory and www.idx.co.id. A number of 36 sample companies out of 472companies registered at Indonesian Capital Market are obtained. Analytic technique applied in thisresearch is double linier regression to obtain a thorough picture of the relation between one variableand the others. This research is measured by seeing the determination coefficient, statistic value of F,statistic value of t, and intervening test. Besides, classic assumption test is also conducted, involvingnormality, multicollinearity, auto-correlation, and heteroscedasticity tests. The analysis result showsthat DER variable partially influences significantly negative to DPR, insider ownership variablepartially influences significantly positive to DPR, firm size variable partially influences significantlypositive to DPR, DER variable partially influences significantly negative to PBV, insider ownershipvariable influences significantly positive to PBV, firm size variable partially influences significantlypositive to PBV and DPR variable partially influences significantly positive to PBV. The regressiontest result with intervening variable states that Dividend Policy (DPR) is not intervening variable, Debtto Equity Ratio (DER) variable, insider ownership and firm size toward Price Book Value (PBV).Keywords: Debt to Equity Ratio, insider ownership, firm size, dividend payout ratio and price bookvalue

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the effect of customer value and the physicalfacilities of the company image and customer confidence in buying interest re-User Services TransportBus Trans Semarang. The population used is the whole customer / service user transport TransSemarang. Samples were taken with nonprobability sampling approach. The Structurall EquationModeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square method (PLS) was used to analyze the data. Abstract

This research was initiated by research gap of the experts research result. Ghafoor, Gillani et al(2013) stated that achievement motivation affected human resources performance, while this wascontroversi to the research of Alam and Mia (2012) which concluded that achievement motivation didnot affect human resources performance. This research paper attempted to estimate the effect ofachievement motivation and interpersonal trust on human resources performance through actionableknowledge quality in Government Region Secretariat of North Konawe Regency. After distributingrelevant questionnaires among 104 employees, all usable questionnaires were returned. Then thedata collected were analyzed by using Structural Equation Modeling with AMOS 18.00 software. Theresearch result to the hypothesis showed that there was a significant positive effect of achievementmotivation to human resources performance and actionable knowledge quality. In contrast, there wasno significant effect of actionable knowledge quality to human resources performance. Furthermorethere was a significant positive effect of interpersonal trust to actionable knowledge quality and humanresources performance in Government Region Secretariat of North Konawe Regency. Implication tothe managerial policy of the research that 1) related to the achievement motivation variable, theorganization should create a conducive work atmosphere which invigorate work motivation, such askeep cleaning, orderliness, noise avoidance, and manage enlightenment more available so that theemployees could enjoy their jobs and loved the challenging job for getting the goal aimed, 2) relatedto interpersonal trust, the organization should build the trustworthiness between all employees, suchas build effective communication between top – low management so that it could trigger the newknowledge creation like collective intelligence, 3) related to the human resources performance, theorganization should increase the employee performance appraisal system, such as job placementbased on employees’ expertise and evaluate every work result so that quantity, quality of work andcontribution to the organization wished always sustainable.Keywords: Achievement Motivation, Interpersonal Trust, Actionable Knowledge Quality, HumanResource Performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the influence of experience, and perception ofquality, and the value of the satisfaction and satisfaction with the word of mouth on the Blackberrymobile phone users Students Islamic University of Sultan Agung Semarang. This type of researchis quantitative. Data collection methods used were using questionnaire and interviews withrespondents, who took a sample of 100 respondents, using purposive sampling technique. The dataanalysis technique used is to use multiple regression analysis with SPSS 16.0 software. Resultsof research conducted showed that there was no significant effect of experience on customersatisfaction. perceived quality have a significant effect on satisfaction, perception of value had nosignificant effect on satisfaction, and satisfaction significantly influence customer’s word of mouth onBlackberry mobile phones. The implication is that word of mouth is a highly efficient means for thecompany, however word of mouth can not happen if there is no customer satisfaction. It is necessaryto secure the quality or innovation of products and the diversity of the features contained in theproduct Blackberry and more on fashion, which is able to give satisfaction in order to build positiveemotions in the minds of the customers in order to improve sales of the Blackberry .Keywords : experience, perceived quality, perceived value, and satisfaction, as well as word ofmouth .

Abstract

This study is to describe and analyze the improvement of the competence of human resourcesthrough intellectual ability, individual learning and knowledge absorption capability. The purposeof this study to examine and analyze 1) the effect of intellectual ability to the competence 2)the influence of individual learning on the competence, 3) the effect of intellectual ability to theabsorption of knowledge 4) the effect of individual learning to the knowledge absorption capacity 5)the effect of absorption of knowledge to the competence. This study was conducted to Employeesin the Department of Revenue, Finance and Asset Management District Semarang. The methodof data collection in this study through a list of questions / questionnaire with 80 respondents forsample. Based on SEM analysis the results showed that if the intellectual capability increases, thecompetence of human resources is increasing, if the individual learning increases, the competenceof human resources is increasing, if the intellectual capability increases, the absorption of knowledgeis increasing, if individual learning increases, the absorption knowledge is increasing, and if theknowledge absorption capacity increases, the competence of human resources is increasing. Themanagerial implications of this study are as follows; associated with increasing intellectual ability,individual learning, knowledge absorption capability and competence of the employees in RevenueService Financial and Asset Management should be given awards (reward), those are by improvingeducation, training, education and training, technical assistance, mutation in order to increaseknowledge transfer even promotion position or promotion to positions.Keywords :intellectual ability, individual learning, knowledge absorption and capability competence

Abstract

Eemployee performance is also an important factor in providing services to the community andimprove the performance of government, particularly the district of Jepara. This research is purposedto examine how to increase the employee performance based job characteristic and organizationalsupport through work engagement Setda Jepara regency. This study analyzed by partial leastsquare with the respondent to 141 people. The results are Job Characteristic has significant effecton work enggagement but not significant on employee performance, organizations support hassignificant effect on work enggagement but not significant on the employee performance and workenggagement has positive effect on the employee performance.Keywords : Job Characteristic, work enggagement, organizational support dan employeeperformance

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of capabilities, motivation, commitment and satisfactionwith the performance of the lecturers. In addition, this study is also aimed to examine the influenceof motivation and commitment to the job satisfaction of lecturers. The research was conducted at theFaculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University Semarang. Total population is 480 lecturers. Basedon Slovin formula with 10% degree of precision, the minimum total sample is 88 lecturers. The studywas conducted by survey method by distributing questionnaires to 125 lecturers with a purposivesampling method. Answer questionnaires returned and qualified were 92 pieces. The analysis tehniqueusing Partial Lease Square (PLS).The results showed that the capability, motivation, commitmentand satisfaction significantly influence the performance of lecturers. Motivation and commitmentto significantly affect job satisfaction. Based on these results the performance of the lecturers ofthe Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University Semarang can be improved by increasing thecapabilities, motivation, and increasing the commitment of the lecturers, implementation of jobsatisfaction.Keywords: lecturer performance, capabilty, motivation, commitment, job satisfaction

Abstract

Human resource in globalization area is very decided of success in the organization purpose. So thatperformance is very importance in which to get the improvement of human resource performance.This study is purposedto measure the improvement of human resource performance in SekretariatDaerah distric of Konawe. Variable are used inthis studyare variables Intrinsic Motivation, ExtrinsicMotivation and Affective Commitment and job performance. Variables Intrinsic Motivation andExtrinsic Motivation is as independent variable and variable of Affective Commitment is as variableindependent and dependent. The other variable is job performance. Sampling technique of this studyis census method with total 125 questionnaires were circulated, out of which 99 questionnairesreturned back. Analyzing data used in this study is using software analyzing smart PLS (Partial LeastSquare). The finding of this study concluded that the Intrinsic Motivation have positive significance toAffective Commitment, Intrinsic Motivation have Positive non Significance to job performance, whilethe variable of Extrinsic Motivation have positive significance to Affective Commitment, ExtrinsicMotivation have positive significance to Job Performance and the variable of Affective Commitmenthave positive Significance to Job Performance.Keywords : Intrinsic Motivation, Extrinsic Motivation, Affective Commitment, Job Performance

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine hypothesis in order to correct or strengthen it with the resultto strengthen theory underlying the topic. Research related to the topic used is explanatory research.This research took place in departement of agricultur and forestry jepara regency.The respondentsfor this research is amount of the 60 peoples and used sensus method as the sampling methodand program regression of SPSS 10.0 for windows as the data analysis.The result of hypothesisexamination show that: the higher intensity of technology use, the higher technological collaborationquality; the higher intensity of technology use, the higher work efficiency of human resources; thehigher technological collaboration quality, the higher work efficiency of human resources; the highertechnological collaboration quality, the higher the work efficiency of human resources with themoderation of ICT usage experience; the higher intensity of technology use, the higher the workefficiency of human resources with the moderation of ICT usage ecperience.Keywords: Work efficiency, Quality Of Collaboration Technologies, Use Of Technologies
