Abstract

The purposes of this research are 1) to describe and analyze the effect of marketing communications,branding image and product quality on consumer trust, 2) to describe and analyze the effect of truston the purchasing decision. The population in this research is Puger Cement consumers residing inSemarang. The number of sample is 67 people who were selected using non-probability method, thatis purposive sampling method. The data in this research is primary data obtained from questionnairesand distributed to respondents. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS). Based on theresults of research and study, it can be concluded that 1) marketing communications positively andsignificantly effect on trust, 2) branding image positively and significantly effect on trust, 3) quality ofthe product positively and significantly effect on trust, 4) marketing communications positively andsignificantly effect on purchasing decisions, 5) branding image does not positively and significantlyeffect on purchasing decision, 6) quality of the product does not positively and significantly effect onpurchasing decision, 7) trust positively and significantly effect on purchasing decisions.Keywords: Marketing communications, branding image, product quality, trust, purchasing decision.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the capital structure and profitability in the Islamic Jakartacompanies Index (JII) that go public in Indonesia Stock Exchange.The researchers used 14 companies belonging to the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) in IndonesiaStock Exchange. This type of research is explanatory research. Data collection techniques usingdocumentary techniques. Data used in this research is secondary data from financial statementspublished by the company were successively joined the Islamic Indonesian companies Index (III)during the years 2010 - 2013. Furthermore, the data collected was analyzed quantitatively by usingmultiple regression analysis using SPSS 20.0vers The results showed that the variables of capitalstructure (DER) significantly affects Profitability and variables profitability significantly influence tothe company’s value, in this study the researchers added a variable as a variable of Good CorporateGovernance moderating and serves to strengthen the capital structur variables on firm value (PBV).Keywords: Capital Structure (DER), Profitability (ROE), Good Corporate Governance andEnterprise Value (PVB).

Abstract

The present study attempts to identify the alternative investment time in the banking sector of theindonesian capital market for the purpose of earning maximum returns. In addition, the study alsoaims to find out the alternative investment option for banking sector stocks in the capital market. Inorder to find the alternative, the four criteria were used namely the fundamental aspect of finance(asset base, gross earning, profit after tax, share capital), capital market (share price, earnings,earning per share, market capitalisation, devidends policy), management efficiency (credit policy,corporate image, structure and strategy, workforce capacity, age of bank), economic condition(interest rate, inflation). The Findings of this study suggest that the short term investment is theprefered alternative investment time and BCA/ Bank Central Asia Tbk is the preffered bank in theIndonesian stock exchange. The first important indicator for investment decision making is thefundamental aspect of finance. The sub criteria in the decisions made by investors regarding thefundamental criteria (financial criteria) is profit after tax. For the capital market, the most significataspect is earning. For management efficiency, the significat indicator is corporate image and thefor economic condition aspect, the significat indicator is inflation.Keywords: investment alternatives, capital market, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP)

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of product, price, promotion, place, people, andphysical evidence to the satisfaction of visitors. Issue raised in this research is how to influence theproduct, price, promotion, place, people, and physical evidence of an effect on visitor satisfaction onHoga Island attractions. In this study using a kind of explanatory research is a study conducted toexplain the causal relationship between the variables and testing hypothesis. In this case describesthe influence of relationship marketing mix which includes product, price, promotion, place, peopleand the physical evidence to the satisfaction of the visitor attraction Hoga Island Wakatobi NationalPark. The study was conducted by survey method distributing questionnaires to135 visitor attractions in Hoga Island. Sampling studies using accidental sampling technique that is committedagainst a person or object encountered by chance there. The result shows that the product, price,promotion, place, people and physical evidence significantly influence visitor satisfaction in HogaIsland attractions.Keywords: Marketing Mix, Physical Evidence, Visitor Satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of communicationon the performance of human resourcesthrough discipline and job satisfaction in the department of agriculture and animal husbandry inSoutheast Sulawesi by using asample of 98employees. Technical analysis is the PLS (PartialLeast Square). The results of this study showed a significant positive effect of communicationonjob satisfaction, work discipline, and performance of human resources, as well as a significantpositive effect of job satisfaction on work discipline. While job satisfaction and work discipline haveno significant effects on the performance of human resources. The implication of this study is toimprove job satisfaction, work discipline and the need to pay attention to employee performance andestablish communication to create an atmosphere conducive to work.Keywords: communication, job satisfaction, work discipline, and human resource performance

Abstract

Teachers have a very strategic position and role in the national development, especially in thefield of education. Teacher’s competence as an educator is very important issue. However, we canfind some teachers that do not reflect its strategic role as a teacher, even he is away from theline of teacher identity, deviations moral, display a personality that is not reasonable, showing aweak religious norms and many other factors. Shortly, it can give bad excesses for education, inparticular to the quality of graduates and the output of education and community character as anobject-driven education teachers. So, the research problem can be formulated as “how is the modelof improvement of professional commitment through psychological empowerment and professionalcompetence of educators and their impact on job performance. Based on hypothesis testing whichhas been filed with the multiple linear regression model with PLS software (Part Least Square), withrespondents as many as 122 people who is a teacher at SMU 4 and SMU 9 Semarang. Results ofthe study are: the higher psychological empowerment will enhance the professional commitment ofteachers, psychological empowerment has no significant effect on the increase in work performanceof teachers, higher professional competence will increase the professional commitment of teachers,higher professional competence will improve on the performance of the teacher, the more highprofessional commitment it will improve on the performance of teachers. Further Researchersadvised to examine the model to the larger scale of respondents so that research results can begeneralized further.Keyword: professional commitment, psychological empowerment, professional competence, jobperformance.

Abstract

This research aims to examine asset growth, return on asset, current ratio, sales growth, andcompany benchmark on capital structure, as well as their impact on company value. The sampleof this research is 79 companies with characteristic: (1) manufacture companies which are listed inIndonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2007-2010; (2) companies that publish financial statementfor four consecutive years in the period of 2007-2010; (3) companies which do not experience lossin the period of 2007-2010. The analysis technique of this research uses multiple linear regressionanalysis. The results show that the factors of asset growth, sales growth, and company benchmarksignificantly bring positive impact on capital structure. Then, current ratio and sales growth significantlybring negative impact on capital structure. Abstract

Hard working, or in other word is also called work ethic is a essential requirement to achievehappiness in life and hereafter, since a high work ethic produces high productivity as well. Thequality of teacher performance will determine the quality of education result or output of the graduatescore because teacher is a party with the most direct contact with students in teaching and learningprocess in educational institute. This research aims to examine the enhancement model of affectivecommitment and work achievement based on Islamic work ethics and working culture of the educatorin Yayasan Penididikan Islam Al- Falah, Jepara. This research is one kind of explanatory research,with the sample number 120 person and used PLS as data analysis tool. Based on the data analysis,it showed that if the Islamic work ethics improves, the affective commitment of human resource willalso improve. Islamic work ethics does not have significant relation with HR work achievement. Workculture does not have significant relation with the affective commitment of HR. Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of variables Knowledge sharing, Innovation Capabilityand Individual Performance in the Regional Employment Board Muna, Southeast Sulawesi Province.Research was conducted on all employees of the Regional Employment Board Muna. The datacollection was done by distributing questionnaires to 54 respondents as sample. Sampling usingcensus method analysis model with Smart PLS (Partial Least Square) as a tool for analysis. Basedon the results of the analysis showed that the Knowledge sharing significant positive effect onInnovation Capability, Knowledge sharing, however no significant effect on Individual Performance.Then Innovation Capability significant effect on Individual Performance. Thus to improve theIndividual Performance can be done through Knowledge Sharing Innovation Capability by increasingemployee.Keywords: Knowledge sharing, Innovation Capability, dan Individual Performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to investigate the influence of Islamic work ethics, organizational cultureand knowledge sharing on innovation capability nurse at Bahteramas Public Hospital SoutheastSulawesi Province. A total of 75 nurses were respondents with proportional purposive samplingtechnique spread to all unit of nursing service. The analytical tool is used structural equation modelingwith alternative methods Partial Least Square (PLS).The results showed that: (1) Islamic work ethicsignificantly brings positive impact on innovation capability, (2) Islamic work ethic significantly bringspositive impact on knowledge sharing, (3) There is no significant and positive impact betweenorganizational culture and innovation capability, (4) Organizational culture significantly brings positiveeffect on knowledge sharing, (5) Knowledge sharing significantly brings positive impact on innovationcapability.Keywords: Islamic work ethics, organizational culture, knowledge sharing and innovation capability.
