Journal Khafi : Journal of Islamic Studies is a multi-disciplinary publication dedicated to the scholarly study of all aspects of Islam and of the Islamic world. Particular attention is paid to works dealing with history, geography, political science, economics, anthropology, sociology, law, literature, religion, philosophy, international relations, environmental and developmental issues, as well as ethical questions related to scientific research. The Journal seeks to place Islam and the Islamic tradition as its central focus of academic inquiry and to encourage comprehensive consideration of its many facets; to provide a forum for the study of Islam and Muslim societies in their global context; to encourage interdisciplinary studies of the Islamic world that are crossnational and comparative; to promote the diffusion, exchange and discussion of research findings; and to encourage interaction among academics from various traditions of learning. Journal Khafi : Journal Of Islamic Studies Services is a journal managed by Pandu Institute and published in the open journal system (OJS) at March, July and November.

Abstract

In carrying out its duties, the KUA Kesamben in marriage matters refers to Law no. 1 of 1974 and the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI), emphasize that a girl born out of wedlock can be a legitimate child for both parents if she is born in a valid marriage. However, if you look at it from a fiqh perspective, illegitimate children are only related to their mother and their mother's family. Indirectly in the Indonesian context, this polemic has implications for the policy of the head of the Kesamben KUA as an officer assigned by the State when he is faced with a case of determining the guardian of an illegitimate child in his area. There are 2 (two) problems in this research, namely: (1) What is the practice of the head of the Kesamben KUA regarding determining marriage guardians for illegitimate children? (2) What is the perspective of Maqashid al-shari`ah regarding the practice of the head of the Kesamben KUA regarding the determination of marriage guardians for illegitimate children? The approach in this research is a juridical-empirical approach, so the type of research used is qualitative research. The method used in this research is the descriptive-analysis method. Meanwhile, when looking at the method of data collection, this research is classified as field research. In simpler language, the data from observations, documentation and interviews will later be narrated, arranged systematically and then analyzed using the Maqashid al-shari>`ah approach. There are 2 (two) conclusions in this research. First, the practice of determining the guardian of an illegitimate child at KUA Kesamben is to first ask for a photocopy of the marriage certificate of both parents. If it turns out that the child was born 6 months after the marriage of his parents, then he may be married by his father or a Kesamben KUA officer. Meanwhile, if he is born less than 6 months after his parents' marriage, the Kesamben KUA will apply as a guardian judge in the child's marriage. Abstract

This research is a literature study using a historical approach. The historical approach used in this study focuses on biographies related to the life records of Ali bin Abi Talib to find out the background of the character's life and his socio-political environment. The data collection procedure used is documentation. While the data analysis technique uses content analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the moral education values ​​of Ali bin Abi Talib contained in the biography of Ali bin Abi Talib by Ali Muhammad Ash-Shallabi namely Ali bin Abi Talib has broad knowledge and deep understanding of his religion, Ali bin Abi Talib was an ascetic person , humble, generous, ashamed of Allah, and fair and not favoritism. The conclusion of this study is that the moral education values ​​of Ali bin Abi Talib in the biography of Ali bin Abi Talib by Muhammad Ash-Shallabi are relevant to the goals of Islamic education. Abstract

This research aims to find out how Islamic business ethics are implemented in the Bujung Buring Mesuji market. The aim of this research is to find out how Islamic business ethics and how they are implemented in the Bujung Buring Mesuji market so that later it is hoped that the results of this research resume can be used as a summary framework or model for business actors in other markets. The research carried out is in the form of descriptive using observational studies and interviews. Results shows that the Muslim traders at the Bujung Buring Mesuji market who were used as informants have implemented the principles of Islamic business ethics including; provide good service, be honest and patient, be responsible, and set prices fairly. Traders also always obey the regulations made by the Bujung Buring market manager.

Abstract

Islam and Karl Marx are interesting themes in Indonesia. In addition to the fact that the majority of Indonesians are Muslim, there is also an economic gap or gap. This article aims to re-map the flow of thinking related to the relationship between Islam and Karl Marxs so that it can be seen in a more balanced way. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative with a historical approach. The results of the study state that Islam has a very different basis from Marx's thought, even though both of them want a just s ociety without class oppression. But Islam still recognizes the potential differences that exist in each human being. Whereas in Marx's thought, the difference between people in accumulating funds lies in the mastery of the factors of production.

Abstract

Islamic education has important role in the human life that based on Five Basic of the State, because religion is motivation of life and the important tool of development and self-control. Therefore, religion should be known, understood, and practiced by humans in order to be fully human in life. Nowadays, learning of Islamic Education in the school is more focused on formal and memorization (verbal) and theoretical things, not focused on the purpose so forget about the ability to control themselves and how to build faith. Because of it, teachers need to do various innovation in the process of implementation strategy of Islamic Education in the school, in order to improve quality of Islamic Religion that signed by various change both of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor.
