Abstract

This research discusses the central role of Islamic Religious Education in responding to and overcoming complex challenges arising from globalization. Through a qualitative approach and case studies, this research explores the understanding and implementation of Islamic values ​​amidst continuously developing global dynamics. The research results show that Islamic Religious Education has a crucial role in shaping individual Islamic character and perspective. By integrating local values ​​into a global context, religious education is able to provide a strong moral foundation to face the challenges of globalization. Teachers are identified as the main pillar in conveying religious values, acting as facilitators and effective role models. By aligning Islamic values ​​with the global context, religious education creates a bridge that connects Islamic traditions with current developments. The implications of this research include recommendations for improving the curriculum, increasing teacher training, and developing learning strategies that are responsive to the dynamics of global change. The conclusion of this research provides an in-depth view of how important Islamic religious education is in forming a generation that is strong and moral in facing the complex challenges of the era of globalization.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the family environment on the formation of student character. In an increasingly complex global era, education is one of the important aspects that influences the formation of students' character. The family environment, which includes the values, norms and behavior adopted by family members, has an important role in forming students' character. This research uses qualitative research methods to understand the phenomenon from the perspective of the subject, namely students and their family environment. The research results show that the family environment has a significant role in shaping student character. Students who grow up in an environment that adheres to positive values ​​tend to have positive and useful characters. This research confirms the importance of the family environment in forming student character and shows that educational strategies that pay attention to the family environment and the values ​​held by the family can help improve learning outcomes and student character.

Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by the presence of moral deviations in Indonesian society, including theft, sexual misconduct, allegations, self-indulgence, and adultery. These issues highlight a decline in societal morals, which is concerning, especially among women who play a crucial role in Islamic upbringing. Women are seen as the backbone of Islamic values, as they are future mothers who will teach their children about Islam. The book "Aisyah The Most Beautiful Lover" by Sulaiman An-Nadawi is central to this research, offering numerous stories with moral educational values that serve as life guidance and motivation. It acts as a mirror for Muslim women to reflect on their lives, assess their spiritual state, and strive for self-improvement by emulating the life of Aisyah RA. Additionally, the book is valuable as teaching material for students to learn about Aisyah RA, the mother of the believers, thereby introducing young Muslims to her exemplary life. This research employs a library research method. The analysis of the book identifies three categories of moral education values: Morals towards Allah SWT: including faith in Allah, gratitude, wara' (piety), and fear of Allah; Morals towards others: including justice, generosity, patience, helpfulness, and obedience to one's husband; Morals towards oneself: including guarding one's tongue, safeguarding one's soul/self, humility (tawadhu'), contentment (qona'ah), and asceticism (zuhud).The research concludes that the moral values outlined in the book are relevant to modern life. These include fostering faith in Allah, gratitude, piety, fear of Allah, justice, generosity, patience, helpfulness, obedience to one's husband, guarding one's tongue, safeguarding one's soul, humility, contentment, and asceticism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di tingkat universitas. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, studi ini menyelidiki dampak kurikulum baru terhadap proses pembelajaran, pengembangan soft skills mahasiswa, dan kolaborasi antara universitas dengan industri. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan dosen, mahasiswa, dan perwakilan industri, serta observasi partisipatif dalam lingkungan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam pendekatan pembelajaran. Fleksibilitas dalam pemilihan mata kuliah meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa dan mendorong pengembangan soft skills, terutama kreativitas dan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Dosen menghadapi tantangan dalam menyesuaikan metode pengajaran, namun juga melaporkan peningkatan keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Temuan lain menunjukkan peningkatan kolaborasi antara universitas dan industri, yang berkontribusi pada perancangan kurikulum yang lebih relevan dengan kebutuhan pasar kerja. Meskipun demikian, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan dalam implementasi, termasuk kebutuhan untuk pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi dosen dan penyesuaian infrastruktur pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya, Kurikulum Merdeka menunjukkan potensi yang menjanjikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan tinggi, namun memerlukan evaluasi dan penyesuaian berkelanjutan untuk memastikan efektivitas jangka panjangnya. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi pembuat kebijakan pendidikan dan administrator universitas dalam mengoptimalkan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Model busana muslim bagi muslimah terus mengalami perkembangan, seiring perkembangan mode/desain yang juga dinamis. Di Indonesia sendiri, karena mayoritas penduduknya beragam Islam, maka baju muslim termasuk barang mudah untuk didapatkan. Bahkan saat ini seiring dengan perkembangan mode, beragam jenis serta model baju muslim menjadi sangat banyak berada di pasaran, terutama bagi para muslimah. Hal yang demikian ini, tentu tak bisa lepas dari perkembangan tren dalam dunia mode Islam yang memang terbilang inovatif, bersamaan dengan munculnya peran aktif para desainer serta konsumen yang memang mayoritas beragama Islam. Selain itu kesadaran akan pentingnya menutup aurat dan berbusana dengan baik bukan hanya sekedar mementing kan penampilan juga menjadi faktor pendorong lainnya. Jenis penelitian yang penulis lakukan adalah penelitian Studi Pustaka (Library Reaserch) yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan secara mendalam dengan menggunakan pemahaman yaitu membaca literatur, berupa sumber buku-buku/ majalah/ e-book, jurnal, dan sumber data-data lainnya di dalam perpustakaan dan beberapa platform pendukung. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu teknik studi pustaka. Teknik studi pustaka adalah teknik penelitian yang menggunakan sumber-sumber kepustakaan yang ada kaitannya dengan masalah pokok yang telah dirumuskan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode dokumentasi, dimana metode dokumentasi pada dasarnya yakni mencari data-data mengenai hal-hal variabel yang berupa buku-buku yang berkaitan dengan pokok pembahasan penelitian. Tahapan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memilih data yang relevan, melakukan pencatatan objektif, membuat catatan konseptualisasi data yang muncul, dan kemudian membuat ringkasan. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pendapat antara Quraish Shihab dan Buya Hamka mengenai akhlak berpakaian bagi perempuan yaitu Menurut Quraish Shihab memakai jilbab tidak wajib menurutnya memakai jilbab bukanlah termasuk perintah agama, karena tidak boleh di katakan syari’at tanpa nash yang jelas, Sedangkan Buya Hamka menetapkan hukum pemakaian hijab mengatakan wajib dalam kondisi apapun dan sampai zaman kapanpun pemakaian hijab adalah keharusan yang berlaku untuk perempuan muslimah.

Abstract

The Koran and Hadith as the main sources of Islamic law are limited in number, but the things that arise in life are complex and unlimited. To deal with problems that are more complicated and full of novelty, sometimes there are no specific laws in the Koran and Hadith, so ijtihad is needed for this situation. Through the Bahtsul Masail forum, Nahdlatul Ulama always actively schedule discussions about actual problems by optimally trying to solve the deadlock in Islamic law resulting from the continuous social development of society without knowing boundaries, while textually there is no basis for it in the Qur'an. and Hadith, or there is a basis for it but the expression is not clear. Therefore, the Bathsul Masail institution must have a method for carrying out ijtihad. The Legal Istinbath Methodology of the Bahtsul Masail Nahdlatul Ulama Institute has three method approaches arranged hierarchically, namely the qauli method approach, the ilhaqi method, and the manhaji method. However, to answer various concerns regarding the absence of an operational method of legal istinbat, and one that can represent the model of the manhaji school of thought, Nahdlatul Ulama at its 33rd Congress in 2015, through the Bahtsul Masail al-Diniyyah al-Maudu'iyyah Commission formulated a method of istinbat al-ahkam . Operationally it is structured into three methods, namely the bayani method, the qiyasi method, and the istislahi or maqasidi method.

Abstract

This research is a literature study using a historical approach. The historical approach used in this study focuses on biographies related to the life records of Ali bin Abi Talib to find out the background of the character's life and his socio-political environment. The data collection procedure used is documentation. While the data analysis technique uses content analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the moral education values ​​of Ali bin Abi Talib contained in the biography of Ali bin Abi Talib by Ali Muhammad Ash-Shallabi namely Ali bin Abi Talib has broad knowledge and deep understanding of his religion, Ali bin Abi Talib was an ascetic person , humble, generous, ashamed of Allah, and fair and not favoritism. The conclusion of this study is that the moral education values ​​of Ali bin Abi Talib in the biography of Ali bin Abi Talib by Muhammad Ash-Shallabi are relevant to the goals of Islamic education. The moral education values ​​of Ali bin Abi Talib in the biography of Ali bin Abi Talib by Muhammad Ash-Shallabi have six noble morals that are in accordance with the goals of Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of school supervisors in fostering teachers' pedagogical competence, which includes the ability to design, implement and evaluate learning effectively. Pedagogical competence is one of the main competencies that teachers must have to improve the quality of education. The research method used is a qualitative approach with interview, observation and document analysis techniques. The results showed that school supervisors play a significant role in fostering teachers' pedagogical competence through academic supervision, mentoring and ongoing training. In addition, school supervisors also assist teachers in identifying student learning needs and designing innovative learning strategies. The constraints faced are lack of time and resources, but these can be overcome through good coordination between supervisors, principals and teachers. This study recommends strengthening the role of supervisors through intensive training and providing adequate facilities.

Abstract

Character education in schools is a fundamental step in shaping young people who have noble values such as honesty, responsibility, discipline and tolerance. This article discusses the importance of character education as an integral part of the national education system, as well as various implementation strategies that can be applied in the school environment. Cultivating noble values from an early age helps students build a strong personality, good ethics and social skills that support community life. The article also reviews the challenges in implementing character education in schools, including the role of teachers, the curriculum and collaboration with parents. With an integrated approach and support from all parties, character education has the potential to create a generation that is not only intellectually smart, but also superior in morals and behavior.

Abstract

The values ​​of Islamic education are everything in which there are positive elements that are beneficial for humans to develop human knowledge and insight both in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains so that they can develop optimally in accordance with Islamic teachings in the form of norms and rules contained in Islamic education, such as morals, faith and worship. Bedikekh culture is a custom that developed among the Lampung Saibatin community, namely an art in the form of chanting poetry of praise to Allah taken from the book of barzanji accompanied by musical drums together. In this case, the researcher wants to know the values ​​of Islamic education contained in the bedikekh culture of the Liwa people of West Lampung, which aims to see whether this bedikekh culture is in line with Islamic teachings or deviates from Islamic teachings and provides an understanding of the procession and meaning of bedikekh culture. Researchers try to find the realm of Islamic educational values ​​in bedikekh culture. This research uses qualitative research methods. The data was obtained using several data collection techniques, including interviews, observation and documentation. Then, after the data was collected, the researcher analyzed it by reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions from the data. Furthermore, the validity of the data in this research uses source, time and model triangulation techniques. This research shows Islamic educational values ​​in the bedikekh culture of the Liwa people of West Lampung. The educational values ​​instilled indirectly are in the form of good morals, such as respecting each other/respecting/not being selfish, polite, helpful, patient, trustworthy and disciplined. The attitude of the members of the bedikekh participants is to follow these morals. This research also explains the supporting and inhibiting factors for bedikekh practice so that readers can better understand what bedikekh culture is
