Abstract

The main objective of a business feasibility study is to assess opportunities for a business project and whether the project is worth continuing or not. Results of calculation analysis on PT RA Beton Precast Concrete Wall Product Manufacturing Plant Design with an average production capacity of 128,772 pcs/year with two product designs (Type A-A and Type B-B). Based on the cash flow of the development investment plan, the new factory PT. RA Beton requires capital of Rp. 169.866.126.151.The calculations using the four methods, namely payback period (PP), produce results of 2 years and 4 months less than the economic life or maximum payback period, which is 10 years. Next, using the net present value (NPV) method, the results obtained are the NPV1 value > 0 from 75% interest amounting to Rp. 5,111,998,649, and the NPV2 value < 0 from 80% interest amounting to -Rp. 5,826,301,054. In calculating the Internal Rate of Return (IRR), results were obtained with a value of 94% greater than the applicable interest rate, namely 12%. Each method produces a different value; calculating the payback period concludes that the investment proposal can be accepted and declared feasible because it meets the criteria.

Abstract

Every temperature error detected by the system would be notified to users by the Blynk application, and the system would attempt to stabilize the temperature in hen coop with a lamp and fan. Notification from the Blynk application is set to stop until the temperature returns to an ideal. The Blynk application is equipped with a reset button to reset the chicken age counter. This system used temperature and humidity sensors DHT22 to sense the temperature, which the data from the sensor output read by Arduino Uno. The data that Arduino Uno reads is sent to NodeMCU. Afterward, NodeMCU sent the data to the Blynk server; therefore, the Blynk application displayed the temperature and humidity data on the Blynk dashboard. This system is expected to facilitate users/breeders in monitoring the temperature in the hen coop. Therefore, users/breeders do not need to worry about chickens dying due to heat or cold stress. The waterfall method is used in this design of the system. This system was tested in a 70 x 70 x 130 cm sized hen coop and entirely tested the system each minute for 35 minutes.

Abstract

In the context of software effort estimation, this study investigates the use of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO)-based Linear Regression to improve estimation accuracy. The main problem faced is the limitations of standard Linear Regression models in accurately estimating the effort required for software development projects. This research aims to improve the quality of estimation of software efforts to optimize resource management and project schedules. The method used was the integration of PSOs in Linear Regression, which was evaluated using three different COCOMO datasets. Experimental results show that LR+PSO models consistently outperform standard Linear Regression with lower MAE, MSE, and RMSE, as well as higher R-squared. In conclusion, integrating PSOs in Linear Regression effectively improves the estimation accuracy of software efforts, demonstrating great potential for improving estimation quality in software project management practices.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the condition and performance of the drainage network. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method based on field observations. The results of this research based on hydrological and hydraulic calculations show that in the Tukad Ngenjung Sub System drainage network, out of a total of 52 channels, 42 channels are unable to accommodate the design flood discharge with a return period of 2 years and there are 45 channels that are unable to accommodate the design flood discharge with a 5 year return period. For channels that are unable to accommodate flood discharge, the design should be given more attention or repairs should be carried out by the relevant parties, so that the runoff that occurs in the channel can be resolved.

Abstract

This study aims to overcome this issue by objectively determining the best positions of the soccer players through the application of the Profile Matching technique. The process consists of five steps: GAP values are first determined by comparing each player's unique traits to predetermined benchmarks. Next, compute the primary and secondary standards, establish weighted scores by utilizing the GAP values, compute the GAP values by contrasting specific player attributes with predetermined benchmarks, compute the overall scores, and order players according to their performance. A weighted combination of mental, physical, and skill criteria (30, 40%, and 30%, respectively) determines the final positions. The results demonstrate how effectively this rigorous technique scores the participants. This process offers a logical and objective approach to player selection, enhancing the precision and effectiveness of decision-making in soccer team management.
