Abstract

The problem is that bioinformatics, as a part of health informatics, plays a role in studying molecular things and genetic studies. Primatologists who studied primates, as well as non-human primates (NHPs), found a dilemma relating to biomedical studies and conservation. Which one to achieve, the goal of being a model animal or their conservation efforts, of course, has very few boundaries. The solution in this study tries to review how to seek to reduce the quantity of NHPs model animals but not reduce their quality, on the other hand, considerations of conservation efforts. The research contribution in this paper proposed authors' perspectives according to the context of the NHPs model as well as conservation efforts, which are considered for dry or wet materials, which means that the genetic resources come. This study would give the 3Rs principle idea, reducing, which contributes to its conservation efforts. This review method used literature surf, scientific selection, and report writing. The result proposed the discussion about related scientific sources as well as the authors' perspective to solve the problem of animal model uses in NHPs. The conclusion is that NHPs are fortunate to receive special attention outside their studies as animal models, even though they are still used in research to benefit humans. Of course, the benefits and drawbacks of using genetic samples—whether wet or dry—are only relevant when used as research materials for medical and bioinformatics investigations. So that there are no more instances of increasing conservation status brought on by the volume of research on the use of model animals, efforts to conserve NHPs as a component of wildlife in nature must be considered.

Abstract

Blockchain is a technology that is quite popular and has been adopted in various fields in recent years. This technology has caught the attention of researchers in the health sector because of its innovation which is considered capable of providing the necessary guarantees for the safe processing, sharing, and management of sensitive patient data. There are many problems with falsifying reports and withholding important information from patients, which is considered medical fraud. Hyperledger, a type of private Blockchain, is very suitable for healthcare applications. A private blockchain is a restricted type of blockchain network created by an entity. This type of network is limited to those with access permissions. In addition, private blockchains usually use a centralized verification system and are controlled by the network's creators. Hyperledger Fabric is one example of a permissioned blockchain that can play a role in implementing patient-centric, interoperable healthcare systems

Abstract

The role of Internet of Things (IoT) technology continues to increase in various fields, especially health. IoT can connect doctors with their patients via the Internet. Portable IoT-based health monitoring devices can significantly reduce the distance between patients and doctors. The important influence of IoT technology in the health sector can be seen from its efficiency and important role in developing and improving the quality of health services. IoT is the last Internet revolution that allows integrity between machines and objects. Developers and users still have to pay attention to data security, considering that medical history is a matter of privacy for some people. Blockchain technology has been predicted by the industry and research community as a secure, fast, reliable and transparent solution for IoT-based systems. Most blockchain technology is used for data management operations in the IoT-based health sector, which improves data security, including data integrity, access control, and maintenance of privacy.

Abstract

Osteoarthritis is a disease that causes the joints in the bones to become weaker and less able to function properly. Osteoarthritis can cause pain, stiffness, and even deformity in the joints. The solution to the problem of diagnosing Osteoarthritis is to use a tool, namely a system (expert system) that uses computer technology to make decisions more easily, effectively and efficiently. This study uses the Certainty Factor method in diagnosing osteoarthritis and uses 8 symptoms, namely, pain in the joints, joints feel stiff, clicks or cracks appear when the joints are bent or moved, joints lose their flexibility properties, joints feel softer when pressure is applied, spurs appear bones around the joints, namely hard and sharp bony protrusions, swelling around the joints, and muscles around the joints. The conclusions from the calculations and program implementation, the application of the certainty factor in diagnosing osteoarthritis with existing test data, results in 95.38% that the patient has severe symptoms of osteoarthritis, so he must be taken to an orthopedic specialist.

Abstract

Breast tumor is one of the leading causes of death in women worldwide. The term tumor is often used for all lumps found in the human body. The increase in the number of cases of breast tumors that occur each year is due to the absence of prevention or early detection. The research was carried out by utilizing the development of information technology to create a breast tumor detection system with digital image processing. The application system will process mammogram images to detect edges with the canny method and will be classified using the SVM method. The data used is 176 data obtained from the Kaggle dataset. The test results revealed that 64 patients were classified as having malignant breast tumors (M), and 113 did not have breast tumors (B), with a classification accuracy rate of 95%. From the results obtained, the application system is very good for the early identification of breast tumors.

Abstract

This review aims to enhance the health status of patients with heart failure. This review will look into the possibilities of telemonitoring and Telerehabilitation as a nursing care delivery paradigm. “Reviews of the literature focus on problems, approaches, formulas, and suggestions for additional research. PUBMED, SAGE Journal, Wiley Online Library, Proquest, and ScienceDirect were all used to conduct extensive research on the subject. Among the telemonitoring and Telerehabilitation methods found in treating heart failure patients were websites, phone calls, and applications.” Telemonitoring and Telerehabilitation can decrease rehospitalization and mortality in heart failure patients while enhancing health status, self-care, self-efficacy, clinical management, and education

Abstract

Information Technology that develops rapidly over time has brought significant influence on the way of communicating and the activities of society globally. The health sector is no exception, and the peak is during the Covid-19 pandemic which greatly affects community interactions both individually and with health workers. One of the ways health workers respond to the pandemic period is by utilizing the information technology system optimally to improve the quality of medical services so that people continue to get health services as they should. This article will discuss the development of rules for telemedicine health services in health law in Indonesia, and the extent to which they provide legal protection for health service users and health workers as health care providers. The research method used in this study, namely Normative Juridical Research, is a legal research method carried out by examining library materials or secondary materials. The result of the discussion is legal obligations, which are strengthened by legal sanctions, aiming to realize legal certainty. However, this legal certainty should also consider the expediency of the law so that the law does not only provide legal certainty, but also provides legal benefits, namely the equitable distribution of quality health services to remote parts of the Indonesian state
