Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the education policy of honorary teachers. Abstract

Materialistic, atheistic and skeptical lifestyles have an impact on the emergence of hedonistic, individualistic lifestyles, therefore this problem is a challenge that requires a solution. One solution to this problem in the education sector is to instill personality or build character through a perennialist approach. The philosophy of perennialism has a concept that is at odds with materialism and mechanics. Perennialism has a concept of holistic and cyclical character development that is in accordance with the goals of education, fostering noble morals and making human beings noble. Nowadays, education faces quite serious challenges. Advances in information and communication technology are like a double-edged sword, which on the one hand brings convenience but on the other hand offers deadly poison. Abstract

Human existence begins with weakness and inability which will then move towards strength. Humans can easily take advantage of the grace and gifts bestowed upon them, but humans must fulfill an obligation to their God. Human dignity before God is not measured by how high their rank and position, their lineage, or their wealth. But when Allah is measured, it is his piety. Humans from the Islamic perspective will still be born in a state of fitrah, namely holy, clean, free from all sins, and have a tendency to accept religion, faith and monotheism. Whether humans become good or bad is a result of education and environmental factors, not their original character. According to Abd al-Rahman al-Bani, quoted by an-Nahlawi, the task of Islamic education is to safeguard and maintain the nature of students, then develop and prepare all the potential they have, by directing the existing nature and potential towards goodness and perfection, and realizing a the program in a more gradual manner. Abstract

Academic success is very important in an individual's life, one form of academic success is academic achievement. Academic achievement is important because of the evaluation results of the educational activity process. One of the factors that influence academic achievement is neuroticism personality. Neuroticism personality is a condition of despair, panic in stressful situations, and negative emotions. The effect of neuroticism on academic performance: 1). Anxiety Tendencies 2). Negative Feelings, 3). Response to criticism, 4). Emotion Regulation. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between neuroticism personality and academic achievement. This research uses a literature review study, with the results of systematic literature review conducted from 13 research journals showing that neuroticism personality has a relationship with academic achievement
