Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of zakat in improving the welfare of Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) in the Muslim community in Medan City. Zakat, as a financial instrument in Islam, not only functions as a religious obligation but also has great potential in reducing poverty and social injustice. SMEs in Medan City, which are an important pillar in the local economy, often face challenges such as limited capital, limited market access, and low managerial skills. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to explore how zakat can be optimized to provide a positive impact on the development of SMEs. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with zakat managers, zakat-receiving SMEs, and Islamic economic experts, as well as through analysis of related documents. The research results show that zakat plays a significant role in supporting SMEs by providing the necessary capital assistance, training and mentoring. Appropriate and effective distribution of zakat can increase the capacity of SMEs, expand market access, and improve the managerial skills of business actors. Factors that influence the effectiveness of zakat distribution include transparency and accountability of zakat management institutions, active participation from the community, and support from government policies.

Abstract

This research was motivated by Nagari Aia Gadang Barat, Pasaman District, West Pasaman Regency, which is a Nagari whose residents make their living as farmers, farm laborers and palm oil workers whose income is quite low. The majority of housewives take part in capital loans from PNPM to help their husbands increase their income to meet their family's needs. However, there are still many members of the National Community Empowerment Program (PNPM) community who do not use capital loans provided by PNPM to carry out productive businesses but rather to meet consumer needs, and members who have started doing business do not use these capital loans to develop their business but instead use them to other consumer needs. Finding out how much of an impact capital loans have on housewives' incomes in Nagari Aia Gadang Barat, Pasaman District, West Pasaman Regency is the driving force for this study. The research approach employed here is quantitative, and it makes use of a Likert scale questionnaire as its research instrument. A saturated sample of 40 respondents was used for this research. The research in this area makes use of a variety of tests for analysis, including those for instruments (validity and reliability tests), for traditional assumptions (normality and autocorrelation tests), and for simple linear regression analysis (t-test, coefficient of determination, etc.). Researchers in Nagari Aia Gadang, Pasaman District, West Pasaman Regency, used SPSS 25 to compile their findings. The t-test revealed that the effect of capital loans on housewives' income was statistically significant (t count = 3.166 > t table = 2.024), thus accepting Ha. Housewives' incomes tend to rise in direct proportion to the amount of capital loans they take out. Similarly, housewives' income drops as they take out fewer capital loans.

Abstract

Several types of financing products at Bank Riau Kepri Syariah KCP Lipatkain, one of which is financing for the oil palm replanting program. To improve customer decisions in financing the oil palm replanting program at Bank Riau Kepri Syariah KCP Lipatkain, there is a need for product marketing, prices and promotions. This research aims to determine and analyze: (1) The influence of products on customer decisions (2) The influence of price on customer decisions (3) The influence of promotions on customer decisions (4) The influence of products, prices and promotions on customer decisions simultaneously. This research is field research using descriptive quantitative methods. The sample in this study was 58 customers who were used as respondents, the collection method was based on the Non Probability Sampling method or saturated sampling where the entire population was selected as a sample, namely 58 customers of Bank Riau Kepri Syariah KCP Lipatkain for the 2023 oil palm replanting program. The data collection technique used questionnaires and observations. The data analysis techniques used in this research were research instrument tests (validity test and reliability test), classical assumption tests (autocorrelation test, normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test), multiple linear regression test, R2 determinant coefficient test, and hypothesis testing (T test) and (F test). Based on the results obtained in this research, the product variable obtained results with a significant value greater than alpha 0.05% (0.348 ≥ 0.05), the price variable obtained results with a significant value smaller than alpha 0.05% (0.000 ≤ 0.05), the promotion variable obtained results with a significant value greater than alpha 0.05% (0.721 ≥ 0.05). Based on the results of research tests using multiple linear analysis techniques, it can be stated simultaneously or together that there is a positive and significant influence with a significant F value of 0.000 ≤ 0.05. The determinant coefficient (R2) value is 0.377 or 37.7%, which means that simultaneously there is a contribution from the independent variable to the dependent variable of 0.377 or 37.7% and the remaining 62.3% is influenced by other variables not discussed in this research, namely variables location, services, procedures and facilities.

Abstract

Development of tourist attractions in an area must consider several important things so that the special characteristics of the area are not lost. In the development process which aims to improve people's welfare, also to continue to preserve natural and human resources in the area. The Samosir area which has a long history related to the past of its people and also the process of the formation of Lake Toba millions of years ago can be used as a basis for development to advance the Samosir area by developing new areas that are still natural and combined with the charm of artificial tourism that can make natural areas get new views and nuances without having to eliminate the original values ​​of the area. Human resource development is a determinant of this success. Human resources who have a strong character to protect and preserve nature will be able to provide various solutions related to basic problems in a tourist area. Starting from planning road and building infrastructure, arranging parking patterns and places, lodging, and signs related to prohibitions that are easy to understand and obey by visitors, reducing and eliminating the extortion mentality in tourist attractions.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of service quality on consumer satisfaction at the Tara Water water depot, Sidojadi Village, Bukit Malintang District, Mandailing Natal Regency. The sample used was 100 respondents using the Accidental Sampling method. By using a simple linear regression analysis method. The research results show that service quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction with a significance value of 0.000<0.05. The resulting coefficient of determination is 0.522, which means that 52.2% of changes in the consumer satisfaction variable are explained by changes in the service quality variable, while the remaining 47.8% is explained by other variables not included in this research.

Abstract

This research uses independent variables, namely Current Ratio and Quick Ratio with the dependent variable, namely Financial Distress. The object of research is infrastructure companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018–2022 period. Sample selection was carried out using a purposive sampling technique and a sample of 8 companies was obtained. The aim of this research is: Testing and analyzing the effect of the Quick Ratio on profit growth in Infrastructure companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018 - 2022. Testing and analyzing the effect of the Quick Ratio on profit growth in Infrastructure companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018 - 2022.After conducting research using multiple linear analysis methods, it can be concluded: 1. Current Ratio has no effect on profit growth in banking companies for the 2018-2022 period. 2. The Quick Ratio has no effect on profit growth in banking companies for the 2018-2022 period.

Abstract

Sharia financial institutions which are part of the Indonesian community whose population is not only made up of Muslims. In its development in Indonesia, it should be appreciated because it is able to attract the interest of both Muslim and non-Muslim communities to use its products. This research aims to determine the decision of non-Muslim communities to use murabahah financing products at PT Bank Sumut KCP Syariah Rantauprapat. Interview data was used in this research with a qualitative descriptive methodology. Interviews with Bank Sumut KCP sharia staff members and non-Muslim customers were used to collect data. Research findings show that the practice of murabahah financing at PT Bank Sumut KCP Syariah Rantauprapat has received a positive view of the product. Non-Muslim communities make decisions about these products because they have factors, these factors are needs, price, type of goods, family and work environment. These factors encourage non-Muslim communities to make decisions regarding the use of murabahah financing products at PT. Bank Sumut KCP Syariah Rantauprapat.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is a significant influence between the competence of village officials on the accountability of village fund management. The population in this study is one of the village officials in Payakumbuh City, totaling 47 sub-districts. The sample in this study also consisted of 47 village officials using a satured sampling technique. The data collection method is a questionnaire. The data analysis method uses descriptive statistical analysis. The research result show that the competence of village fund management. This statement is based on the result of the partial test (t test) with a significance value of 0.008 which is 0.05 and seen from the calculated t value of 2.749 ˃ t table 2.011.

Abstract

Problematic financing is a situation where in its implementation there is a breach of contract due to the customer's inability or difficulties experienced by the debtor in fulfilling obligations or in repayment of installments, and not fulfilling the requirements promised to the creditor. Murabahah products are one of the superior financing products at BMT Agam Madani Nagari Kapau. The most important basic principle of BMT is to collect funds from the community and distribute them to the community. This article aims to examine the factors causing problematic financing of Murabahah bil Wakalah contracts at BMTPAS and strategies for resolving problematic financing carried out by BMT PAS. This research method uses a field research method with a qualitative approach where data sources are collected through interviews and field observations as well as documentation studies related to the resolution of problematic financing. The research results show that the causes of financing problems at BMT PAS come from internal factors of BMT and external factors from errors by financing members. Resolving Problematic Financing by mitigating risks at the outset by always paying attention to the 5K principles, namely Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral and Condition. The strategy for resolving problematic financing is carried out by repeated billing, through deliberation with a persuasive or family approach, and writing off receivables including write-offs and write-offs, and holding committee meetings, and providing warning letters to customers.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of digital marketing at PT. Tridaya Pesona Wisata Bukittinggi Branch and find out the impact of implementing digital marketing to increase sales of Umrah packages at PT. Tridaya Pesona Wisata Bukittinggi Branch. This type of research is field research, which takes data directly from the research site. Based on the results of the research conducted, it is clear that the digital marketing carried out by PT Tridaya Pesona Wisata Bukittinggi branch is in line with Yazer Nasdini's theory which states that there are indicators in the implementation of digital marketing, namely accessibility, interactivity, entertainment, trust, irritation and informativeness. The digital marketing instruments used by PT Tridaya Pesona Wisata include websites and social media marketing such as: Facebook and Instagram. As well as the positive and effective impact of implementing PT Tridaya Pesona Wisata's digital marketing which helps provide accurate and detailed information to prospective pilgrims as well as increasing sales of Umrah packages and the number of pilgrims using Umrah travel services with PT. Tridaya Pesona Wisata Bukittinggi Branch.
