Abstract

E-Leadership or digital leadership has become a key factor in supporting the adoption of Total Quality Management (TQM) in academic settings. This article explores the role of digital leadership in enhancing educational quality through TQM implementation. The study uses a qualitative approach with case study methods to analyze how school principals and educational leaders leverage digital technology to support TQM initiatives. The results indicate that digital leadership can enhance management effectiveness, increase student engagement, and improve learning outcomes. However, there are challenges in its implementation, including resource limitations and resistance to change. This research provides practical recommendations to overcome these challenges, including providing adequate training and support for teachers and staff, and fostering an organizational culture that supports innovation. Policymakers and educational leaders should find great value in these findings as they apply TQM and digital leadership to enhance the quality of education.

Abstract

The Sistem Pengurusan Data Program Pemulihan Khas (SPD) is a web-based application that focuses on managing data for a remedial education program in 28 primary schools across Cameron Highlands, Pahang. It is a computerized system designed to replace the manual system that currently uses Microsoft Excel forms to manage pupils' information. The system's features enable tracking of the pupils' academic progress and providing data for upper management decision-making. This system is intended for use by remedial teachers to manage pupils' information, school authorities to monitor the program, and education officers at the district level. In developing the system, a system prototyping development methodology was adopted. Functional requirements were gathered through meetings with clients and a prototype called "SPD" was created based on these requirements. A field study was conducted to assess the prototype's usability, and the results indicated that SPD is straightforward and easy to use. The study contributes to understanding the system requirements and user interface of the web-based application for managing information and data related to remedial education.

Human resources play an important role in achieving the company's goals. This study aims to determine the effect of training on employee performance at PT. Anaszaen Karawang, given the continued decline in annual performance. The research method used a descriptive quantitative survey with saturated sampling in 36 respondents of PT. Anaszaen. The data collection technique uses observation, interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out with descriptive statistics, simple linear regression, partial hypothesis test, determination coefficient, validity test, and reliability test using SPSS Version 23. The results of the hypothesis test showed that training had a positive and significant effect on employee performance (significance 0.000 < 0.05; t count 16.469 > t table 2.03224). The determination coefficient of 88.9% shows that training contributes 88.9% to employee performance, with 11.1% influenced by other factors that were not studied. Although the training is considered quite good, there are aspects that need to be improved, especially the trainees, training methods, and work quality.

Abstract

Lifelong learning is increasingly recognized as a cornerstone of equitable and sustainable education systems in the digital age. This narrative review explores the global trends, challenges, and policy implications of lifelong learning, with a focus on digital inclusion, adult education, and equitable access. Drawing on a systematic review of academic literature from databases such as Scopus and Google Scholar, the study synthesizes findings related to the role of digital technologies, inclusive strategies, and policy frameworks. The analysis reveals that while digital tools such as online learning platforms and AI-enabled systems offer significant potential to expand access and personalize learning, several systemic barriers persist. These include infrastructural deficits, low digital literacy, economic disparities, and cultural stigma toward adult education. Furthermore, while many policies support lifelong learning, their impact is often limited by lack of alignment with learners' socio-cultural realities. The discussion highlights the interplay of policy, economy, and culture in shaping lifelong learning outcomes and proposes several solutions, including inclusive policy design, cross-sector collaboration, and community-based education. The review concludes that lifelong learning must be reimagined through inclusive, flexible, and context-sensitive frameworks. Future research should address the limitations in empirical evidence on long-term outcomes and explore hybrid models tailored to resource-constrained settings. Such efforts are essential for building adaptive and inclusive education systems that empower individuals and promote social equity.
