Setia Mengabdi: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat sebagai media ilmiah yang merupakan wadah pengembangan untuk hasil-hasil penelitian yang diimplementasikan pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dan mempublikasikan hasil-hasil kegiatan pengabdian berupa advokasi, workshop, bimbingan teknis dan kegiatan lainnya dalam penerapan ilmu pengetahuan dan praktik ke masyarakat. Jurnal ini dipublikasikan oleh Politeknik STIA LAN Bandung setiap bulan Juni dan Desember. Penulis yang mengirimkan naskah diharuskan untuk mengikuti pedoman penulisan naskah. Jika naskah yang dikirim tidak sesuai dengan pedoman penulisan dan template yang telah ditentukan, maka naskah akan ditolak sebelum masuk proses review.

Abstract

This community service aims to explore the potential and innovation of using banana peels as well as an effort to empower the community. Banana peels are generally just thrown away so that the resulting banana peel waste increases and accumulates. In fact, banana peels contain nutrients that are very beneficial for the body. By reusing banana peel waste through processing it into ice cream, it can provide novelty and added value to society. This community empowerment activity is carried out by conducting outreach to the community through providing material regarding the benefits of banana peels and the practice of making banana peel ice cream directly with the community. This activity was carried out in Andir Village, Baleendah District, Bandung Regency, West Java, on December 10 2023. Through this community empowerment activity it can have an impact on economic growth because it creates business opportunities for the community, overcomes problems related to banana peel waste, and grows potential village.

Abstract

The traditional MSME product, semprong cake, has the potential to be developed and can become a leading commodity in Kurungdahu Village. However, observations and interviews have revealed several partner issues, including limited financial record-keeping, lack of managerial skills, and restricted market access. The primary focus of this community service program is to provide socialization and assistance, both theoretically and practically, in the development of semprong cake products and the utilization of technology to market the products more broadly. The goal of this service is to transform semprong cake into an MSME that can boost the economy in Kurungdahu Village. The methods used to achieve this goal include ongoing observation and mentoring, enabling MSMEs to benefit from the preparation of simple financial reports, branding, packaging, and marketing assistance through social media to increase sales.

Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure are an important part of providing education. In its implementation, borrowing infrastructure requires a procedure which is to prevent errors occurring in the work that can harm employees and the foundation. The object of this community service is the Baabul Kamil Jatinangor Education Foundation.  This foundation does not yet have adequate SOPs in carrying out its duties. So this service aims to assist the Baabul Kamil Education Foundation in preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), especially in borrowing infrastructure from the Baabul Kamil Education Foundation.

Abstract

This community service initiative addresses the problem of low financial literacy in rural areas. The lack of socialization regarding financial literacy, primarily due to the community's educational level and needs, is a significant factor contributing to this issue. The purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge and prevent illegal loans in rural communities. The community service activity was carried out in Pamulihan Village, Pamulihan District, Sumedang Regency, in June 2024. The participants included 20 housewives and early childhood educators. The event consisted of an opening session, material introduction, games, and a closing session. As a result of these activities, the participants' knowledge of financial literacy improved, as evidenced by the evaluation of the game activities and initial efforts to increase awareness, which can be shared within the surrounding community.

Abstract

The implementation of anti-gratification control socialization is carried out in order to realize the proper implementation of gratification control activities so as to minimize internal and external acts of gratification in the KPP Pratama Bandung Bojonagara environment. The PKM activity carried out by the author aims to make input in improving the implementation of the gratification control public campaign at KPP Pratama Bandung Bojonagara. This socialization uses two extension methods according to (Notoatmodjo, 2014), namely group extension methods and mass extension methods. This socialization was carried out for 60 days starting from November 25, 2023 to January 25, 2024. The results of this PKM implementation are to produce outputs in the form of posters that are widely distributed on the social media of KPP Pratama Bandung Bojonagara, short videos that are shown directly to KPP Pratama Bandung employees during the presentation of the material, and material on anti-gratification control in the form of PowerPoint during the presentation to employees at KPP Pratama Bandung Bojonagara. With this PkM activity, KPP Pratama Bandung Bojonagara employees understand more about gratuities so that employees are more aware of the signs of gratuities around them and can avoid gratuities during the service process to the community.
