Abstract

Background. The era of globalization is full of competition, so education needs to be based on quality to produce superior human resource development. The quality of education graduates is related to the characteristics determined by educational institutions and shows the readiness of graduates to plunge and work directly in the community and the world of work as expected by stakeholders. Research Purpose. The purpose of this study is to describe Ki Hajar Dewantara's character education as an excellence in education management in Indonesia. Research methods. This research collected literature from various databases from Google Scholar, DOAJ, and Research Gate related to Ki Hajar Dewantara's character education. The keywords in this literature review, according to the PICO framework, are P: character education, I: Ki Hajar Dewantara, C: other character education theories, and O: excellence.  The three main components of data analysis: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Findings. There were 6 articles relevant to this research topic out of 218 articles that were assessed and analyzed Ki Hajar Dewantara's character education has a positive influence on Indonesia's strong education system that creates a diverse and high-quality generation, from the contemporary to the digital era as it is today. Conclusion. The excellence of Ki Hajar Dewantara's character education reflects the unique characteristics of society and culture, fostering the nation's character, including honesty, courtesy, intelligence, spirituality, and leadership spirit, fostering a culture of mutual tolerance for diversity in Indonesia and mutual dependence on one another.

Abstract

Background. Market rivalry is getting fiercer both at the domestic level and internationally. As a result, many private hospitals based on hospital business companies compete with one another to win over clients by establishing objectives like offering first-rate facilities and customer service. Research Purpose. Determining the impact of facilities and service quality on private hospital clients’ satisfaction was the aim of this study. Research Method. This study uses quantitative statistics as its methodology, gathering data via documentation, questionnaire distribution, and observation. The Accidental Sampling approach was used by the author to sample the population. In this study, 80 respondents made up the sample. Data quality testing, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, partial and simultaneous determination coefficient testing, and the classical assumption test are the methods of data analysis that are employed. Findings. Customer satisfaction is significantly impacted by both service quality (p=0.000) and facility factor. Additionally, customer happiness is significantly impacted by both facility factors and service quality. Conclusion. Client happiness is significantly impacted by service quality, facility concerns, and changeable facilities.

Abstract

Background. One of the key components of a marketing plan is price. Competitive prices can increase product attractiveness in the eyes of consumers, especially in price-sensitive market segments. The enthusiasts who are prospective buyers want the product to be of high quality, particularly in terms of fulfilling customer expectations so that they become satisfied and loyal to the company. Research Purpose. Analyzing product quality and price affect demand for a product. Research Method. This study is quantitative in nature and uses saturation sampling approaches to collect primary data from 50 consumers who were given questionnaires. Questionnaires and literature reviews were used as the data gathering approach. While conventional assumption tests include testing for normalcy, heteroscedasticity, and multicollinearity, instrument tests include tests for validity and reliability. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the data. Findings. The results showed that the price variable had a significant effect on product demand (tcount = 0.025), while the product quality variable had a significant effect on product demand (tcount = 0.000). Conclusion. To become more competitive in the market, every business should constantly enhance the quality of its products and take customer preferences into account while adjusting prices.

Abstract

Background. In the current era of digital education, enhancing students’ engagement and conceptual understanding in physics remains a challenge. Traditional teaching methods often lack the interactive components necessary for deep learning. Research Purpose. This study aims to determine the impact of the E-LKPD-assisted discovery learning model on students' learning outcomes of effort and energy. Research Method. At SMA Negeri 1 Medan, the study was carried out. This kind of study uses a pretest-posttest control group design and is quasi-experimental in nature. With 36 students in each of the experimental and control classes, cluster random sampling was the sampling method employed in this investigation. In the experimental class, the Discovery Learning model was used with the help of E-LKPD, whereas in the control class, traditional learning was used. The pupils in grades X-3 and X-4 served as the study's subjects. A learning exam consisting of fifteen multiple-choice questions served as the tool. Findings. A pretest result in an average pretest score of 48.1 for the experimental class and 45.6 for the control class. Normality and homogeneity tests on the pretest data indicated that both classes' data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The two-tailed t-test resulted in a value of tcount < ttabel = = 0.97 < 1.994, indicating that the initial critical thinking ability of the experimental and control classes was the same. After the different treatments, a posttest was conducted for both classes, which resulted in an average posttest score of 76.5 for the experimental class and 63.5 for the control class. Normality and homogeneity tests on the posttest data showed that both classes' data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The one-tailed t-test resulted in tcount < ttabel = = 4.860 > 1.666, so the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Conclusion. Students’ learning results on the subject of effort and energy are significantly impacted by the usage of Discovery Learning with E-LKPD assistance.

Abstract

Background. One of the apparent ways that government acts to address the fundamental needs of society is through public service. Research Purpose. This study aims to analyse the quality of public services using the SERVQUAL dimensions. Research Methods. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method in Blabak Village, Kediri City, based on the five dimensions of SERVQUAL. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analysed using interactive analysis with triangulation for data validity. Findings. Public services showed a fairly good quality. In terms of tangibles, facilities such as computers, printers, and internet networks are well available. However, limited space and seating are still obstacles in providing comfort for the community. In reliability, administrative services, especially the processing of population documents, run quite reliably, especially with the presence of the SAKTI application, which facilitates online processing and reduces queues. The responsiveness dimension pertains to officers’ readiness to serve and respond to community needs, despite technical constraints like internet connectivity. In the assurance dimension, people feel safe because the officers show a friendly and professional attitude, in accordance with the motto ‘Salam, Sapa, Senyum,’ which creates a warm and pleasant service atmosphere. Meanwhile, empathy can be seen from the officers' concern for the community, despite the limited number of personnel and diverse educational backgrounds, they still try to serve optimally. Conclusion. Public services have run quite optimally. However, improvements are needed in terms of infrastructure and the number of officers so that services can be more comfortable, fast, and efficient.
