Abstract

Poetry is a type of literature whose language is bound by rhythm, spell, rhyme, and arrangement of lines and stanzas. Usually poetry contains the author's expressions about emotions, experiences and impressions which are then written in good language so that they are acceptable and pleasant to read. In the structural approach there is a physical structure and an inner structure. The physical structure of poetry is a method of conveying the essence of poetry which consists of facial expressions, diction, images, concrete words, figures of speech, and rhymes or rhythms. Meanwhile, the inner structure consists of; theme, tone, feeling or feeling, and mandate. This analysis aims to analyze the physical structure and inner structure contained in the poem "Time". This study uses a structural approach and qualitative methods to analyze the physical and emotional elements of poetry. The purpose of this research is to find out the physical structure and the inner structure in the poem "Time" by Heri Isnaini.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of figurative language in Okto Son's poem "Cinta Sebatas Rindu". This poem was chosen because of its strong aesthetic and emotional appeal, and this study aims to understand how language style is used to convey messages and emotions in the poem. The main problem to be answered in this study is how Okto Son uses the style of language in the poem Cinta Selimit Rindu to create an in-depth reading experience and how to use that style of language. The research method used is qualitative. This poem will be analyzed in depth with a focus on the use of figurative language such as similes, symbols, personification, repetition and similes. The benefit of this research is to provide a better understanding of the use of figurative language in poetry. It is hoped that the results of this study will reveal a variety of figurative language strategies used by Okto Son and how the use of figurative language creates strong aesthetic and emotional experiences for readers. This analysis can also help explore hidden meanings in poetry and reveal the uniqueness of Okto Son's writing style.

Abstract

Literary works are natural works created from human reason and desire, not without reason if literary works that are born are closely related to study and appreciation. One of the literary works that contains the author's thoughts and problems that occur in life is poetry. Poetry studies can be done from various aspects, one of which is through a structural approach. This study contains an analysis of the poem "Walau" by Soetardji Calzoum Bachri using a structural approach. This research resulted in the overall findings of physical structure and mental structure contained in the poem "Walau" by Soetardji Calzoum Bachri. The physical structure of poetry includes the form of poetry, diction, concrete words, language style, and imagery. While the inner structure of poetry includes theme, tone, atmosphere, as well as message. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive method, while the data collection technique used is a documentation study technique.

Abstract

Poetry is one type of literary work in which there are a series of words that contain meaning. Therefore, to understand more deeply about the poem requires an in-depth study. The purpose of this study is to describe the structure of the poem where there are physical elements and mental elements in the poem "Tiada" by Joko Pinurbo. The method in this study is qualitative descriptive which is studied using a structural analysis approach. The results of the structural analysis of this poem contain the physical structure analyzed including diction, imaging, majas, and typography. While the mental structure analyzed includes themes, feelings, tones and gymnasals, and messages. This research is useful for readers to better understand the content of poetry and develop insight or knowledge of literary works in the form of poetry, especially in analyzing its structure.

Abstract

This study discusses the study of poetry in poetry literature entitled "Poetry for Mother" by H. Muhammad Ichsan. Poetry is one of the literary genres written by poets to express their thoughts and feelings through words that have their own meaning. This poetry study aims to find out the structure contained in the poem entitled "Poems for Mother". The benefit of studying this poem is that it is useful for readers to know the physical and mental structure of the poem entitled "Poems for Mother" by H. Muhammad Ichsan. The method used in this study is the qualitative descriptive method. The approach used by this study is a structural approach, namely physical and mental structures. The data collection technique used in this study is a documentation study. The results of the study obtained are the physical and mental structures contained in the poem entitled "Poems for Mother" by H. Muhammad Ichsan. The physical structure is in the form of poetry, diction, concrete words, language style and imagery, while the inner structure is in the form of themes, tones, atmospheres and messages.

Abstract

Authentic assessment is an assessment that measures competence in the cognitive (knowledge), affective (attitude), and psychomotor (skills) domains of learners, not only conceptual understanding but also the ability to apply concepts and theories in real or test practical skills in a particular field. The purpose of this study is to present the latest data, evaluate, and describe the authentic assessment of item analysis with the Rasch model in elementary school. The research method used in this study is a literature review with Narrative Literature Review (NLR) model with Compare technique. The findings obtained from this study can be concluded that the teachers in elementary schools have routinely conducted authentic assessments in analyzing the problem items either manually or with the help of applications. Rasch model is one of the ways that can facilitate the work of teachers in analyzing problem items. This study implies that in the future rasch model can be developed with a way of working that is easier to use for teachers.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to (1) improve the ability to write poetry using the wiriting technique in here and now assisted by audiovisual media and (2) find out changes in behavior in participating in learning poetry skills using the wiriting technique in here and now assisted by audiovisual media for class X students AKL 1 SMK Negeri 6 Medan. The research method used in this classroom action research consisted of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were all students of class X AKL 1 at SMK Negeri 6 Medan, which consisted of 35 students. The research instrument is in the form of learning observation sheets, and student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques through observation/observation, interviews, tests and documents. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative data analysis through three stages, namely reduction, analysis and conclusion of data.

Abstract

In learning drama materials and drama performances in class XI AKL1, there are several problems faced by students, such as difficulties in playing characters in dramas, and a lack of active involvement in the learning process. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to use more creative learning techniques and media. One of the solutions adopted in this study is the use of rendra drama techniques and technology in learning. The use of rendra drama techniques in learning has the potential to increase students' interest and learning motivation in playing drama characters. The purpose of this study was to improve students' speaking skills in playing drama characters by paying attention to the building elements of a drama performance. This study has two objectives, namely (1) to describe Rendra's drama playing techniques and (2) to apply the use of Rendra's drama playing techniques to drama learning for class XI AKL-1 for the 2022/2023 academic year. The method used is a qualitative description. Descriptive based on Class action research (CAR). The data validity technique used in this research is data triangulation (source) and method triangulation. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis used to analyze data that occurs in the teaching and learning process. Based on the research results, two conclusions can be drawn. Action research class (CAR) was conducted in two cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2. Each cycle experienced an increase in student learning outcomes. At the pre-cycle stage, the percentage of students who achieved learning mastery was 57.43%. Then, in cycle 1, this figure increased to 66.28%. After going through cycle 2, the percentage of students who achieved learning mastery increased again to 89.14%. Thus, Rendra's drama playing technique can be chosen as a superior and appropriate learning technique in playing drama which can lead students to have the ability to play drama characters according to various techniques. applied in the learning process.

Abstract

In the process of learning to write, students have the potential, interests and needs to be developed by the teacher. Therefore, the teacher has an important role in the language learning process, especially in the aspect of writing skills. The facts that occur in the field from the results of the author's observations in class X AKL 3 SMK N 6 Medan, the Indonesian language learning process is still not good enough compared to the mandatory learning process contained in the 2013 curriculum. And student learning outcomes in Indonesian, especially in the basic competence of writing negotiating texts, are still low. Therefore, to improve students' ability to write negotiating texts, learning models and media are needed so that students are able to write negotiating texts easily and pleasantly. The models and media used to overcome this are the use of project-based learning models and audio-visual media. With the use of this model and media it is expected that students will find it easy to write negotiating texts, because with these models and media students compose a negotiating text based on their direct experience. The background of the problems above is to implement the use of project based learning learning models and audio-visual media as an effort to improve students' ability to write negotiating texts in class X AKL 3 SMK N 6 Medan. Based on the results of research conducted in cycle I and cycle II in learning to write negotiating text using project based learning media and audio visual media, it was found that there was an increase in write negotiating text. This can be seen from the average value in the first cycle which was 64.78 and increased in the second cycle which was 80.03.

Abstract

This article discusses a poem entitled "Pancasila Dasar Negara" (Pancasila as the Foundation of the State) by Misnawati, which can be an appropriate means to teach Pancasila values to students. It also discusses the messages and values contained within the poem "Pancasila Dasar Negara" by Misnawati. The research method used in the article is the analysis of the poem "Pancasila Dasar Negara" and a qualitative approach through an interview with its author, Misnawati. The results of the analysis show: (1) The ways to teach the poem "Pancasila Dasar Negara" by Misnawati can be done through: Understanding the Context, Analysis and Discussion of the Poem Text, Discussions about Pancasila Values, Understanding the Author's Experiences, Creative Activities, Integration with Other Subjects, Poetry Performances, Social Activities, and Evaluation and Reflection. (2) The poem "Pancasila Dasar Negara" by Misnawati conveys a message about the greatness and nobility of Pancasila as the foundation of the Indonesian state. The values taught are about love for the homeland, unity, and pride as citizens, as well as the importance of upholding Pancasila values as guidelines in community and national life.
