Abstract

The purpose of community service (PkM) is to improve teacher competence in learning through the preparation of HOTS-based assessment instruments. Teacher competence in developing HOTS-based assessment instruments has an impact on students so that they can have the 6C skills (communication, creative, critical thinking, collaboration, compassion, and computational) needed in the 21st century era. The method used in PkM is training in compiling assessment instruments based on HOTS. The opening of the PkM was carried out by Asda of Cianjur Regency and remarks by the director of Postgraduate UNJ on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Bobojong Village Office. Implementation of training on the preparation of HOTS-based assessment instruments on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at SMP Negeri 1 Mande, starting at 08.00-15.00 WIB followed by discussions, doing assignments in Google Classroom. The training materials consist of lesson planning and preparation of HOTS-based assessment instruments. This training was attended by teachers of SMP, SMA, and SMK in the Kec. Mande. The results of the training showed that the ability of participants to the HOTS-based assessment instrument was 63%. Prior to training, the average knowledge of HOTS-based assessment instruments was only 47%. The results of this training showed that there was an increase in understanding the HOTS-based assessment instrument by 16%. The ability to compose a HOTS-based multiple choice instrument is demonstrated by completing the given task well. Abstrak Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam pembelajaran melalui penyusunan instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS. Komptensi guru dalam mengembangkan instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS memberikan dampak terhadap siswanya agar dapat memiliki kemampuan 6C (communication, creative, critical thinking, collaboration, compassion, dan computational) yang diperlukan dalam era abad 21. Metode yang digunakan dalam PkM adalah pelatihan menyusun instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS. Pembukaan PkM dilakukan oleh Asda Kabupaten Cianjur dan sambutan oleh direktur Pascasarjana UNJ pada hari Senin, 25 Juli 2022 di Kantor Desa Bobojong. Pelaksanaan pelatihan penyusunan instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS pada Hari Selasa, 26 Juli 2022, di SMP Negeri 1 Mande, dimulai pukul 08.00-15.00 WIB dilanjutkan diskusi, mengerjakan tugas di google classroom. Materi pelatihan terdiri dari perencanaan pembelajaran dan penyusunan instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh guru SMP, SMA, maupun SMK di lingkungan Kec. Mande. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan peserta terhadap instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS sebesar 63%. Sebelum pelatihan rata-rata memiliki pengetahuan tentang instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS hanya sebesar 47%. Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan dalam memahami instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS sebesar 16%. Kemampuan menyusun instrumen pilihan ganda (PG) berbasis HOTS ditunjukkan dengam menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan dengan baik.

Abstract

Pendidikan dasar merupakan tahap penting dalam pembentukan dan perkembangan siswa. Pentingnya penilaian dalam pembelajaran juga tidak dapat diabaikan. Penilaian yang tepat dapat memberikan umpan balik yang berguna bagi siswa untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar mereka. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari peran penilaian dalam meningkatkan prestasi siswa di pendidikan dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif.  Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung di kelas, wawancara dengan guru, dan analisis dokumen terkait dengan penilaian dan prestasi siswa. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan tematik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penilaian yang efektif dapat memberikan umpan balik yang berarti dan konstruktif kepada siswa, memotivasi mereka untuk meningkatkan prestasi akademik mereka. Guru yang menggunakan berbagai teknik penilaian, memberikan umpan balik yang jelas, dan melibatkan siswa dalam proses penilaian cenderung menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih positif dan produktif. Selain itu, penilaian formatif yang terintegrasi dengan pembelajaran sehari-hari juga memiliki dampak positif terhadap prestasi siswa. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penilaian yang memperhatikan aspek pembelajaran siswa dapat berperan penting dalam meningkatkan prestasi mereka di pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

Authentic assessment is an assessment that measures competence in the cognitive (knowledge), affective (attitude), and psychomotor (skills) domains of learners, not only conceptual understanding but also the ability to apply concepts and theories in real or test practical skills in a particular field. The purpose of this study is to present the latest data, evaluate, and describe the authentic assessment of item analysis with the Rasch model in elementary school. The research method used in this study is a literature review with Narrative Literature Review (NLR) model with Compare technique. The findings obtained from this study can be concluded that the teachers in elementary schools have routinely conducted authentic assessments in analyzing the problem items either manually or with the help of applications. Rasch model is one of the ways that can facilitate the work of teachers in analyzing problem items. This study implies that in the future rasch model can be developed with a way of working that is easier to use for teachers.

Abstract

Skills can improve students' ability to technical life skill. The learning process that does not vary causes students to be disinterested and bored with handy craft leasons. This study aims to improve the results of learning cooking skills for class VIII students of SMP Diponegoro 2 Jakarta. This research was conducted using the Classroom Action Research method. The subjects of this study were 31 class VIII students. The type of data in this research is qualitative and quantitative in the form of cooking data. Meanwhile, quantitative data is in implementing learning obtained through observation sheets. Based on the research and discussion results, the application of the audio-visual learning model can improve the skills of writing news texts for class VIII students of SMP Diponegoro 2 Jakarta. The results of the cycle I action test can be seen in the presentation. Namely, of the 31 students taking the test, 58% or as many as 18, scored ≥70. While the results of the action test in cycle II with a percentage of 90% or as many as 28 students scored ≥ 70, so was stopped in cycle II because the indicator of research success had been achieved, namely 85%.

Abstract

Authentic assessment is an evaluation method that actively involves students in the learning process and assesses their abilities in real conditions. In the context of science learning in elementary schools, authentic assessment can be applied through practice. Science practicum provides students with experience in understanding material concepts directly and also improves cognitive abilities in observing, reasoning and communication skills. The aim of this research is to find out how authentic assessment is used in science learning activities, especially in practice in elementary schools, so that it can provide an understanding of the application of authentic assessment which is very important in learning activities, one of which is to improve the quality of learning and improve students' abilities. This research uses a literature review method by analyzing and collecting data from scientific articles related to research topics and problems. The research results show that the application of authentic assessment can improve learning in science practicum activities and improve students' practical skills as well as provide an assessment of the process and results so that teachers can determine good treatment of students.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka has impacted educational progress in Indonesia, and authentic assessments are needed to ensure holistic and relevant evaluation of student learning progress. This research aims to analyze the importance of developing authentic assessments of 21st-century skills in implementing Kurikulum Merdeka in elementary schools. This research method uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) research method; the SLR stages consist of planning, implementation, and reporting. After searching on Google Chrome and the Google Scholar site, 24 articles were obtained relating to the discussion of authentic assessment of 21st-century skills in Kurikulum Merdeka in elementary schools. The 24 articles were then analyzed based on the criteria for determining the quality of the study material so that ten articles were obtained. Based on the results of the criteria analysis. The analysis involved identifying 21st-century skills essential to developing and understanding the benefits and challenges of implementing authentic assessment in learning. The results of this research show that the development of authentic assessment has an essential role in learning in elementary schools. Authentic assessment allows assessments that involve the application of students' knowledge and skills in real-life situations, creating a close connection between school learning and everyday life. AbstrakKurikulum Merdeka telah memberikan dampak terhadap kemajuan pendidikan di Indonesia, pengembangan asesmen otentik diperlukan untuk memastikan evaluasi yang holistik dan relevan terhadap kemajuan belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis mengenai pentingnya mengembangkan asesmen autentik keterampilan abad 21 dalam konteks implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Systematic Literature Review (SLR), tahapan SLR tersendiri terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pelaporan. Setelah melakukan pencarian pada google chrome dan situs google scholar, diperoleh 24 artikel yang berkaitan dengan bahasan asesmen autentik keterampilan abad 21 pada Kurikulum Merdeka di sekolah dasar. 24 artikel tersebut kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan kriteria penentuan kualitas bahan kajian sehingga diperoleh 10 artikel. berdasarkan hasil analisis kriteria. Analisis tersebut melibatkan identifikasi keterampilan abad 21 yang penting untuk dikembangkan, serta pemahaman tentang manfaat dan tantangan asesmen autentik dalam pembelajaran. Hasil dari penelitian tersebut menunjukan pengembangan asesmen autentik memiliki peranan penting dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Asesmen autentik memungkinkan penilaian yang melibatkan aplikasi pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa dalam situasi kehidupan nyata, menciptakan hubungan yang erat antara pembelajaran di sekolah dengan kehidupan sehari-hari.Kata Kunci: Asesmen autentik; pendidikan abad 21; kurikulum merdeka
