Abstract

Religion-based identity politics is often carried out in the Pilkada and General Elections to accumulate support by the people. This study focuses on exploring religion considerations in the election of regional heads and legislative members for young voters by proposing two problem formulations, namely: 1) what are the views of young voters on religion and the state, especially on aspects of the implementation of elections and leadership in both the executive and legislative branches?; 2) what are the views of young voters on candidates for legislative members and Muslim or non-Muslim regional heads in the 2024 Simultaneous General Election and Regional Head Elections? Using qualitative methods with primary and secondary data sources which were then analyzed descriptively, concluded that: first, young voters view religion as a very important and main thing in determining candidates for regional heads and candidates for legislative members based on the relationship between state and religion in Indonesia which very strong, regardless of religion. Second, the criteria for Muslim or non-Muslim leaders for most young voters are not the first and foremost, because the important factor lies in the candidate's ability to carry out their duties. However, there are still more than 26 percent of respondents who will continue to prioritize Muslim leaders for reasons of Islamic doctrine and history in the past.

Abstract

penelitian ini membahas tentang pentingnya pemahaman moderasi beragama dalam media sosial. Media sosial memberikan akses luas ke informasi dan memungkinkan orang untuk berkomunikasi dengan mudah, namun dalam beberapa kasus, media sosial dapat digunakan untuk memicu kebencian dan konflik antar kelompok agama. Pemahaman moderasi beragama dapat membantu orang untuk mencegah konflik antar kelompok agama, menghindari radikalisme, menjaga keseimbangan dalam penggunaan media sosial, membangun hubungan yang harmonis antarumat beragama, dan meningkatkan pemahaman tentang agama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis untuk menganalisis konten-konten yang berpotensi memicu konflik agama di media sosial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada banyak konten yang dapat memicu konflik agama di media sosial, seperti hoaks, ujaran kebencian, dan informasi yang tidak benar tentang agama. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman moderasi beragama dapat membantu orang untuk mencegah konflik antar kelompok agama, menghindari radikalisme, dan membangun hubungan yang harmonis antarumat beragama di media sosial.

Abstract

The mainstreaming of religious moderation is included in the 2020-2024 National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN) compiled by Bappenas. PTKI (Islamic Religious Colleges) has a strategic role in strengthening religious moderation by establishing RMB (Religious Moderation House) as the Leading Sector in the internalization of moderate religious understanding in the campus environment. However, the position of RMB in terms of the organization in several Islamic colleges is still unclear, thus affecting the sources of institutional funding. The purpose of this study is to describe RMB's strategies in disseminating Wasathiyyah Islam to students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were then analyzed using the Huberman technique which consisted of data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and conclusions. The credibility of the data was tested using a triangulation technique of methods and data sources. The results showed that the RMB strategies in disseminating Wasathiyyah Islam to students consisted of 1) focusing on virtual world activities that minimized the use of budgets such as building social media networks by creating official institutional accounts on the website, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc., 2) developing creative and interactive contents with messages and activities of religious moderation, 3) facilitating lecturers and students who wish to disseminate the results of their thoughts and research related to religious moderation, and 4) compiling a book containing a collection of articles from the RMB management as a final project.

Abstract

Tulisan Ini membahas bagaimana akar moderasi beragama sudah ditanam menjadi akar pondasi budaya islam oleh Rasulullah Saw, menanamkan pondasi ke diri kaum muslimin saat itu, hingga sekarang masih bisa kita rasakan betapa kuatnya pengkaderan yang dilakukan oleh Rasulullah terhadap umatnya yaitu Kuatnya pondasi ini karena dimulai dari sosok Rasulullah sendiri, dengan digladi langsung oleh Allah Swt, Rasulullah Saw, dari semenjak masih muda merupakan seorang yang mandiri.Sikap Rasulullah yang bijak dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Kita bisa melihat saat beliau belum diangkat menjadi Rasul, bagaimana beliau menyelesaikan permasalahan dalam meletakkan hajar aswad kembali ke tempat semula Semangat dan sikap gigih Rasulullah Saw, dalam memperjuangkan Islam. Beliau tidak pernah terlena dengan bujuk rayu. Entah berupa harta, tahta ataupun wanita.Lebih mengedepankan umatnya daripada diri beliau sendiri. Kita bisa melihat bagaimana rasa sayang beliau terhadap umatnya, sehingga diperintahkan untuk hijrah.Menjadi sosok pemimpin yang selalu dirindukan. Sebagaimana perkataan orang Khajraz “Bangsa kami telah lama terlibat dalam permusuhan. Mereka benar – benar merindukan perdamaian. Semoga Tuhan mempersatukan mereka kembali dengan perantaraan engkau dan ajaran – ajaran yang engkau bawa. Oleh karena itu, kami akan berdakwah agar mereka mengetahui agama yang kami terima dari engkau ini”. Rasulullah melakukan sebuah pembai’atan. Yaitu janji setia penduduk Madinah terhadap Rasulullah. Padahal waktu itu belum ada hal demikian. Meniggalkan Ali di Madinah untuk menyelesaikan urusan beliau. Hal seperti ini merupakan pelajaran akan sebuah tanggungjawab yang diajarkan langsung oleh Rasulullah. Bahwasanya jika seorang pemimpin harus bisa mencari wakilnya apabila ingin meninggalkan tempat. Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the extent to which the religious moderation model was developed by the author of TK B textbooks. Researchers used library research with qualitative research as a type of research. Sources of data studied, namely; Kindergarten B textbooks totaled seven books. To examine the text and images contained in TK B textbooks, researchers used Content Analysis. Content Analysis is a scientific analysis of the contents of a communication message. Technically, the scope of content analysis substance includes; classification of signs used in communication, using criteria as a basis for classification, and using certain analytical techniques as predictors. The results showed that the religious moderation model in TK B textbooks was introduced through local wisdom and national commitment. Local wisdom is represented by; relics of the past, such as; temples, statues, chariot wheels, jugs, pinisi boats, swords, temple gates, temple banners, traditional houses, traditional dances, traditional clothes, and names based on local traditions. While the national commitment is represented by the red and white flag and its pole, flag ceremonial activities, and the Garuda bird in the palace. Abstract

Abstract:This study focuses on the study of surah al-Baqarah: 256 on religious freedom according to Buya Hamka in the interpretation of Al-Azhar by using a content analysis approach. Through this approach, the author tries to describe it analytically and interpretively. And this research method is categorized into a qualitative type, which focuses on literature and library materials as data sources. The results of this study are First, Buya Hamka explained that the verse and the previous verse (Al-Baqarah:255) are closely related and inseparable. He explained that the Verse of The Throne is the most important teaching in Islam which clearly states about monotheism. Second, Buya Hamka in Tafsir al-Azhar explains the verse using the bi al-Ma'śūr method. Third, according to Buya Hamka, based on the Qur'an letter al-Baqarah: 256, that Islam does not allow coercion in embracing religion. But invites people to think about the truth of the message of Islam. For him, coercion in embracing religion makes one's religion false and can cause conflict. The relevance of Buya Hamka's interpretation at this time when viewed from a variety of religions must be maintained in accordance with the struggle of the founding fathers in formulating Pancasila that can embrace all diversity, not by prioritizing egoism. Abstract

This article examines wasatiyya through the eyes of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI). In terms of current religiosity in Indonesian society, most people are polarized into two extreme patterns, namely the extreme right and the extreme left. The role of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) is demonstrated by demonstrating the concept of Islamic wasatiyya taught by the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The emergence of radicalism and liberalism was undoubtedly influenced by several factors, including religious exaggeration or, conversely, taking religious matters lightly. This article specifically seeks to answer two questions. First and foremost, how did the MUI come to be? Second, how does the MUI view the concept of wasatiyya da'wah? Third, what is the role of the Indonesian Ulema Council's (MUI) fatwa for the Indonesian people? As a result, we can see that the MUI, a semi-official institution in Indonesia, plays an important role in religious matters for Indonesian society, including preventing the emergence of extreme right and extreme left views. This study will discuss the Road Map or guidelines in the effort to form an attitude of patriotism through the concept of Syuhada 'ala Nas as an implementation of Islam Wasathiyah values so that Syuhada 'ala Nas can be a reference in attitude and become an example that can be applied in the life of the nation and state. patriotic. This research is library research, the data used is taken from several kinds of literature in the form of books, and journals that have similarities in the object of study. So, it was found that efforts in constructing an attitude of patriotism have been conceptualized and taught in Islam, namely in the meaning of Syuhada 'ala Nas in Surah Al-Baqarah: 143, Syuhada 'ala Nas has the meaning of testimony, as a witness must have fair and moderate values. middle as contained in Islam Wasathiyah values. The relevance between Islam Wasathiyah and the value of Patriotism provides a road map for inculcating patriotism, namely through the meaning of Syuhada 'ala Nas.

Abstract

Moderasi beragama dalam bingkai bhineka tunggal ika adalah sebuah paradigma berpikir yang mampu berpikir dengan caranya yang objektif tanpa menjatuhkan golongan apapun baik dari segi agama,kultur dan kehidupan sosial yang ada pada masyarakat indonesia. Konsep berpikir dan bersikap dengan cara yang moderat seperti yang di ajarkan dalam alquran surah Al Baqarah ayat 143 bahwa kita harus berpikir moderat di tengah kemajemukan yang ada pada masyarakat Indonesia. Genarasi millenial ummatan washatan adalah generasi yang mampu berpikir dan bersikap moderat di tengah keberagaman yang ada pada masyarakat Indonesia. Karaterisitk generasi millenial ummatan washatan antara lain adalah membangun keberagaman,membangun sikap toleransi di tengah keberagaman dan mempunyai sudut pandang yang insklusif (berpikir dengan cara yang positif). Hal ini menjadi karakteristik generasi millenial ummatan washatan di era 4.0 saat ini.

Abstract

Persoalan moderasi bukan sekedar urusan orang perorang, melainkan kelompok dan umat, masyarakat dan negara, terlebih ketika saat ini beragam kelompok ekstrem yang telah menampakkan wajah dengan dalih penafsiran agama yang sangat jauh dari hakikat Islam. Salah satu yang perlu dibahas adalah moderasi beragama dalam budaya kearifan lokal. Pendekatan kebudayaan lokal dapat menjadi kunci membangun paradigma dan sikap moderasi beragama. Di sisi lain, dapat pula menahan pengaruh penetrasi radikalisme beragama. Sikap akomodatif terhadap kebudayaan lokal dapat mengantarkan sikap keberagamaan yang inklusif dan toleran serta menjadikan suasana kehidupan keagamaan yang damai, dinamis dan semarak. Agama tidak datang untuk memberanguskan varian lokal yang menghampirinya. Sebaliknya agama mesti hadir untuk kemudian masuk dan berdifusi hingga memberikan pengaruh pada wajah kebudayaan sebuah komunitas tanpa menghilangkan identitas kebudayaannya. Dengan demikian agama dan kebudayaan lokal, berjalin kelindan dan saling mengisi satu sama lain yang terwujud dalam sikap kearifan agama yang berbudaya dan budaya yang berlandaskan agama. Inilah yang terjadi di masyarakat Pesisir Barat Lampung. Kearifan lokal yang ada di Pesisir Barat dan terus terjaga sampai saat ini, yaitu pitu likokh, ngejalang kubokh, ngumbai atakh dan ngumbai lawok.
