Politik Islam is a journal published by the Universitas Islam Negeri Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. The focus of this journal is all matters relating to the discussion of politics in general and Islamic politics related to local, national and international politics. Specifically, the discussion deals with various themes, starting from political thinking, democracy, foreign policy, conflict and security, regional autonomy, general elections, political parties, comparative politics, political communication, political psychology, issues of the Islamic world and Islamic politics.

<![CDATA[Ormas is a community organization that contributes to the nation and the Republic of Indonesia. The state guarantees the freedom of an individual in forming a community forum in order to contribute to society both in the field of religion, social, economic, and in the form of legal protection. The implementation of mass organizations gives a good contribution to the country where the state also requires the role of community activity in controlling the state.The implementation organization is certainly left to the people involved in running the organization in accordance with the vision and mission and objectives of the organization of religion. In this case, the author sees the existence of religious organizations mixed with the politicization of the nation and the state of Indonesia. The existence of such organizations has violated state rules that have an impact on the instability of the state both in political pawns and terms religious freedom.The Islamic organizations that have been banned include HTI ( Hizb ut-Tahrir Indonesia ), and FPI (Islamic Defenders Front ). Both Islamic organizations have been banned because it contradicts the prinsipal to maintain the stability of the country. <![CDATA[Problem in this reseach is good governance and public services in the Kumango government Sungai Tarab District in 2021. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing good governance on improving the quality of public services in the Kumango government, Sungai Tarab district The type of research used in quqntitative research with correlation tecniques to find the effect between variables X and Y. The population in this syudy is 1192 people with a sampe 92 people. The sampling technique was using simple random sampling. The collection technique used is a likert scale using research instruments on a good governance scale and public service. The processing is done statistically non parametric with the help of SPSS version 20.00 for windows The results show that there is an influence in the application of good governance principles on the quality of publik services in the Kumango government Sungai Tarab District in 2021. This can be seen from the analyst using the sperman rank test with the help of SPSS for windows, the results obtained ar rs=0,649 with a significance value (p<0,01) is smaller than (p<0,05). Based on the result of the hypothesis shows that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected]]>

<![CDATA[This journal focuses on the framing of news on the issue of the Three-Term Presidential Discourse, with the aim of seeing and criticizing the framing of news on the Online Media Portal Kompas.com and Republika.co.id the March 2002 Issue. The research method in this study is to use a constructivism approach and the type of framing analysis research of Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki with four framing devices, namely syntax, script, thematic, and rhetorical. The results of the study concluded that, the framing carried out by the Kompas.com on news about the issue of the Three-Term Presidential Discourse, namely Kompas.com tried to position itself as a media that maintained objectivity in writing news on the issue of the Three-Term Presidential Discourse, although there was still a slight tendency to Kompas.com in giving more portion to the sources against the three-Term President, while the framing carried out Republika.co.id namely, Republika.co.id clearly leads readers to interpret the issue of the Three-Term President as a discourse that is rejected by many Figures and the public. <![CDATA[The problem studied in this research is the use of the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) as a tool for information retrieval for visitors at the Bukitinggi City Public Library. The purpose of this study is to identify the use of OPAC as an information retrieval tool and to find out the obstacles faced by users in using OPAC and efforts to overcome obstacles when searching for information using OPAC at the Bukittinggi City Public Library. The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques that the author uses are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study begin with data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or data verification. The results of the research that the authors found that the use of OPAC as an information search tool has not been used optimally, instead of using OPAC as a means of information retrieval, users tend to go directly to the bookshelf to browse the books they need. This is due to the lack of user understanding in using OPAC as an information retrieval tool. This statement shows that the OPAC service at the Bukittinggi City Public Library is not good, because there are obstacles faced by users, namely internal and external constraints, such as the lack of socialization of the library to library visitors. The availability of computers as a means to search for information is still lacking and there is no manual or manual for using the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC).]]>

<![CDATA[This journal discusses "The Contribution of the Patani (Southern Thailand) Islamic Student Union in Indonesia (PMIPTI) West Sumatra Region 2017-2022 in Conflict Resolution in Patani Southern Thailand". The sub-focus of the research in this thesis is what is behind the emergence of the conflict that occurred in Patani and how the contribution of PMIPTI for the West Sumatra Region in 2017-2022 in conflict resolution in Patani. The purpose of this study is to find out what is behind the emergence of conflicts that occurred in Patani and to determine the contribution of PMIPTI for the West Sumatra Region in 2017-2022 in Conflict Resolution in Patani. The type of research that the author uses in this study is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Sources of data used in this study consisted of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. The results of the author's research can be revealed that the background of the conflict in Patani, which started from the struggle for territory and power between Britain and Thailand who competed for control of the Malay Peninsula. In the end, the Thai Kingdom of Siam was able to conquer the Patani Malay Kingdom. Since the Patani Malays were under the auspices of the Thai Siamese Kingdom, the Patani people experienced a lot of discrimination, including the emergence of regulations imposed by the Thai Kingdom against the Patani people which threatened the identity of the Patani community itself. The contribution made by PMIPTI for the West Sumatra Region towards conflict resolution in Patani is by informing the outside world, especially community leaders and government officials in Indonesia regarding the problems faced by the Patani community today by carrying out various activities and opening up political space. to convey the problems of the conflict that occurred in Patani, Southern Thailand.]]>

<![CDATA[This study was conducted to determine the level of community satisfaction with services at the Wali Nagari Simpang Kapuak Office, Mungka District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, measured using the Community Satisfaction Index. This study uses descriptive quantitative-analysis using the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) analysis in accordance with KEPMENPAN Number 14 of 2017. Data collection techniques are in the form of questionnaires, documentation and observations going into the field with the community with a research sample of 95 people using the simple random sampling method. ). Public services in Nagari Simpang Kapuak include 9 elements of the Community Satisfaction Index including: Requirements; Systems, Mechanisms and Procedures; Service Time; Fees or Tariffs; Product Specification Type of Service; Implementing Competence; Implementing Behavior; Handling of Complaints, Suggestions, and Feedbacks; Facilities and infrastructure. The results showed that the value of the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) in accordance with KEPMENPAN Number 14 of 2017 for the services of the Simpang Kapuak Wali Nagari Office was running well with an interval value of 3.095 and after being converted to 77.37. <![CDATA[This journal discusses "Political Marketing in Simultaneous Regional Head Elections in 2020 (Study of Eka-Richi Regent and Elected Deputy Regent 2020 - 2024 Winning of Tanah Datar Regency)". Writing this journal has a focus on discussing political marketing used by Eka-Richi in the 2020 simultaneous regional elections in Tanah Datar Regency. The purpose of writing this journal is to explain and analyze the political marketing strategies and problems used by Eka-Richi in winning the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections in Tanah Datar Regency. The type of research that the researcher uses is a qualitative research method with descriptive analysis. The data collection technique in this research is using interview, documentation and observation techniques. The theory used in this research is the political marketing theory of push marketing, pass marketing, and pull marketing. Based on research through observation and interview guidelines that researchers used in obtaining data, researchers obtained research results that in the process of winning the election for the Eka-Richi candidate, one of them could be obtained by using a political marketing strategy that was run by the candidate and the success team who gathered to become the Friends of Ek-Friend Volunteer Team. The purpose of this discussion is to find out what modalities Eka-Richi has in Winning the 2020 Tanah Datar Election and find out how Eka-Richi used these modalities to win the election.
