Abstract

It is illustrated that women in Indonesia, including in Dharmasraya Regency, still face various obstacles in entering and surviving in politics. Patriarchal culture, internal constraints such as domestic roles, and external constraints such as a political system that still favors men are the main factors that hinder women's participation in politics. So this research aims to find out how the portrait background of female legislative members of Dharmasraya Regency in the 2019-2024 period, the strategy of female legislative members in winning Pileg in Dharmasraya Regency, and the role of female legislative members of Dharmasraya Regency in the formation of local policiesThis research method uses a qualitative method. The data collection techniques that researchers use are observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusionsWomen Legislative Members of Dharmasraya Regency still do not meet the 30% quota. The lack of women's representation in the 2019 legislative elections held in Dharmasraya Regency only had 2 female candidates who managed to occupy parliamentary seats: Elisa Septiani and Sasmi Erli. The strategies used by the legislature in winning the legislative general election include: formulation of vision and mission, assessment of the situation and evaluation of the role of the Dhamasraya Regency Women's DPRD as a form of community representation in controlling gender responsive policies related to development in Dharmasraya Regency. Because women's thoughts and feelings will be able to collaborate to prioritize ongoing gender-responsive policies. Therefore, the role of women politicians is very important in the process of making until the birth of the 2019-2024 Dharmasraya Regency regional regulations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus mengenai analisis tentang kepemimpinan Anies Baswedan selama menjabat sebagai Gubernur Daerah Khusus Ibu Kota (DKI) Jakarta, penelitian ini di analisis menggunakan teori gaya kemimpinan yakni (gaya kepemimpinan partisipasi, gaya kepemimpinan otoriter, gaya kepemimpinan idealized influence) dan teori sosiologi politik Ibnu Khaldun yang menempatkan rakyat menjadi faktor penentu keberadaan suatu negara, yang tidak terlepas dari solidaritas sosial. sehingga mendapatkan informasi dari dua perspektif yang berbeda untuk mengkaji permasalahannya. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan yang sumber datanya diperoleh dari artikel, jurnal, karya ilmiah dan pemberitaan media sosial mengenai Anies Baswedan sehingga dengan metode tersebut diharapkan mampu untuk mensuksekkan jalannya penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Gubernur DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan membawa perubahan pada Kota Jakarta dengan mega proyek 1). Pembangunan Stadion JIS, 2). Penerbitan Aplikasi JakLingko, 3). Pelebaran Trotoar Kota Jakarta, 4). Pembangunan Jalur Sepeda, 5). Penyelenggaran Event Formula E, 6). Revitalisasi Kota Tua Batavia Jakarta. Sehingga dengan fokus, metode dan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat memiliki tujuan yang jelas yaitu menggali bagaimana perkembangan Kota Jakarta pasca dipimpin oleh Anies Baswedan serta bagaimana branding politik seorang Anies Baswedan, penelitian ini juga dapat menjadi pembaharuan pada penelitian baru dan juga diharapkan mampu memberikan informasi yang manfaat serta motivasi baru untuk para pemimpin di Indonesia.Kata kunci: Anies, Gubernur, Jakarta, Kepemimpinan, Branding Politik

Abstract

The background of this research was triggered by the urgent need to increase the political participation of novice voters in general elections in Solok Regency. Data from the Solok Regency KPU illustrates a worrying trend, with the number of first-time voters declining from year to year, as well as the presence of apathy in the political process. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the factors that influence the political participation of novice voters, formulate a political education strategy that can increase the political literacy and involvement of novice voters, and identify the obstacles that may be faced in the implementation of socialization. The research method applied in this study is qualitative research, which aims to describe the object of the phenomenon or social setting in the form of narratives and words, focusing on the KPU's political education strategy in increasing the political participation of novice voters in the 2020 Solok Regent and Deputy Regent elections. The political education strategy implemented by the Solok Regency General Election Commission in the 2020 Regent and Deputy Regent elections is seen through three strategy indicators. Thus, the political education strategy of the Solok Regency KPU focuses on face-to-face approaches, synergy with mass media, and improving the quality of volunteers to increase the political participation of novice voters in the 2020 Regent and Deputy Regent elections.

Abstract

This study focuses on knowing the political literacy abilities of Ushuluddin Adab and Da'wah Faculty students. This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach with a questionnaire instrument. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 91 respondents from the Usuluddin Adab and Da'wah Faculty students. The type of research that the researchers used was descriptive quantitative analysis. The research questionnaire was tested for validity and reliability using the Cronbach's Alpha technique with the help of IBM SPSS V25. The researcher uses the political evaluation criteria as a theory which is then used as the basis for the discussion. The results show that the ability of Ushuluddin Adab and Da'wah Faculty students can be said to be good. From the research conducted in the field, it can be concluded that the ability of political literacy when viewed by students of the Ushuluddin Adab and Da'wah Faculty when viewed from the knowledge indicator is at a moderate level with a percentage of (69.2%). While the political literacy of fuad students from the attitude indicator is classified as high with a percentage of (79.1%) and in terms of literacy, the fuad students from the aspect of expertise (skil) are classified as moderate with a percentage of (63.7%)

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of political education among students (santri) of the Jabal Rahmah Anau Kadok Talang Islamic Boarding School. The aim of political education at this boarding school is to shape the character of the students, enabling them to become citizens with ethical and polite political behavior, as well as a deep understanding of political issues. Although there is no specific curriculum for teaching political education, it is integrated through subjects such as Civic Education (PPKN), the activities of the Student Executive Board (BES), discussions, democratic culture practices, and the study of the Prophet's biography (Siroh Nabawiyah). This research employs a qualitative approach, collecting data through in-depth interviews. The objective is to analyze how political education at the Jabal Rahmah Islamic Boarding School shapes the political perspectives and thought patterns of the students, as well as the role of the school leaders in forming the students' political understanding. The research findings indicate that political education at this boarding school focuses on knowledge transfer, consciousness-raising, political identity, and organizational skills development. Through democratic spaces within the Student Council (OSIS) and lectures, the students acquire an understanding of positive political values. The students are also engaged in organizational activities that allow them to develop leadership skills. The political education at this boarding school successfully shapes good behavior, teaches ethical and wise political conduct, and equips the students to respond to political issues. The conclusion drawn from this research is that political education at the Jabal Rahmah Islamic Boarding School effectively molds the character and political understanding of the students. By employing an approach that involves various aspects of knowledge, orientation, behavior, and political action, the political education at this boarding school is capable of producing students who are aware of their rights and responsibilities as citizens, possess political ethics, and can approach political issues wisely. This research provides fresh insights into how political education can shape the character and political perspectives of students, and have an impact on their involvement in political and social life in Indonesia..

Abstract

The article that the author conducted regarding the Fiqh Siyasah Perspective on the Rights of Disabilities to Become Election Supervisors in Law Number 8 of 2018 (Kota Padang Panjang) allows people with disabilities to become election supervisors. However, only by providing accessibility, which is an easy way for persons with disabilities to achieve equal opportunities to obtain the same status, rights and obligations, equality of status can be realized. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to provide accessibility for persons with disabilities. It is hoped that with these efforts, persons with disabilities can be totally integrated in realizing national development goals in general and improving their social welfare in particular. This variety of persons with disabilities has different difficulties and problems. Different difficulties and problems need various solutions. In Law number 7 of 2017 concerning general elections it has been explained that persons with disabilities have the same rights as others to be elected or vote. Whereas in Law No. 8 of 2016 it is emphasized again that in Article 13 letter (f) disabilities have their rights in politics to become organizers in elections. This study aims to find out how the practice of Law No. 8 of 2016 regarding the right to disability to become election supervisors and find out from the siyasa fiqh aspect. At this writing, it examines the facts that are in Bawaslu and this really happened in the Bawaslu realm. The author can conclude that disability rights are still not given enough attention when it comes to their political rights to become election supervisors

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penulisan ialah untuk melihat Peranan dan Fungsi Badan Permusyawaratan Nagari di Nagari Saniangbaka. Jenis penelitian yang penulis gunakan ialah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan (penarikan simpulan dan verifikasi data), Data display (penyajian data) dan Data reduction (reduksi data). Penulis menganalisis data menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan pola pikir deduktif, Dalam teknik analisis data purposive, peneliti memilih sampel berdasarkan kriteria tertentu yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian dan Teknik pemilihan informan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan berlandaskan pada UU No.6 Tahun 2014 tentang desa yang bertujuan untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat desa. Berdasarkan penelitian yang penulis lakukan di Nagari Saniangbaka melalui wawancara dan observasi serta dokumentasi di lapangan menemukan bahwa BPN Saniangbaka telah melaksanakan tugas dan wewenangnya sebagai wujud peranan Badan Permusyawaratan Nagari di Saniangbaka. Hal ini didasarkan bahwa BPN telah melaksanakan rembuk jorong untuk menjemput aspirasi dan usulan pembangunan, setelah itu dilakukan Badan Permusyawaratan Nagari melakukan rapat koordinasi dengan wali Nagari untuk melakukan musyawarah Nagari (Musna) yang dihadiri oleh seluruh elemen masyarakat demi terwujudnya di Nagari Saniangbaka. Hasil dari Musna inilah menemukan kesepakatan tentang perencanaan pembangunan yang akan dilaksanakan di Nagari.

Abstract

Da'wah is a very great obligation. However, the implementation of Islamic da'wah often faces problems, especially when the material and activities of da'wah are included in the political realm. Therefore, da'wah themes such as sharia, daulah and caliphate are vulnerable to resistance, especially during the current era of power.  Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study discusses the discourse of political da'wah in Indonesia. The results of the study show that: first, political da'wah is considered a threat by the state. This view is then framed by power by linking the ideas of sharia, daulah and caliphate with the narrative of radicalism. Second, theologically and historically the themes related to the caliphate are an important part of Islamic teachings. Unlike what is alleged, political Islam has historical concepts and facts that are much appreciated by historians and scholars.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas permasalahan politik identitas berbasis agama di Indonesia, yang menjadi isu penting dalam konteks dinamika demokrasi modern. Fokus utama penelitian adalah bagaimana simbol-simbol agama digunakan dalam kampanye politik untuk menarik dukungan publik, serta dampaknya terhadap kohesi sosial dan kualitas demokrasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis literatur, mengadopsi teori habitus dari Pierre Bourdieu dan dramaturgi Erving Goffman untuk memahami interaksi antara simbol agama dan praktik politik. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa meskipun politik identitas berbasis agama dapat meningkatkan partisipasi politik dan solidaritas kelompok, dampak negatifnya juga signifikan. Penggunaan simbol agama sering kali menciptakan polarisasi sosial dan diskriminasi, yang dapat merusak kohesi masyarakat. Sebagai contoh, dalam berbagai pemilu, simbol-simbol agama dimanfaatkan untuk membentuk citra politik yang mengarah pada pembagian masyarakat menjadi "kami" dan "mereka." Oleh karena itu, artikel ini merekomendasikan beberapa langkah strategis. Pertama, pentingnya pendidikan multikultural untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang keberagaman. Kedua, perlu adanya regulasi yang ketat terhadap pemanfaatan simbol agama dalam politik untuk mencegah eksploitasi yang berlebihan. Ketiga, penguatan dialog antar-komunitas sangat diperlukan untuk membangun saling pengertian dan toleransi. Melalui pendekatan ini, diharapkan politik berbasis identitas dapat sejalan dengan nilai-nilai demokrasi yang inklusif dan berkeadilan, serta menjaga harmoni sosial dan integrasi nasional di tengah keberagaman masyarakat Indonesia.

Abstract

Pokok problematika dalam riset ini adalah membahas peran dan kotribusi serta tantangan dan hambatan kelembagaan adat dalam penguatan demokrasi lokal di Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan peran dan kontribusi kelembagaan adat dalam penguatan demokrasi lokal di Tanah Datar serta menjabarkan tantangan dan hambatan yang ditemui oleh lembaga adat dalam mewujudkan demokrasi lokal di Tanah Datar. Jenis penelitian ini ialah kualitatif deskriptif. Kemudian teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam riset ini adalah wawancara melalui metode purposive sampling dan dokumentasi melalui tulisan berupa artikel jurnal, skripsi dan dokumen yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Hasil dari riset ini menunjukkan bahwa kelembagaan adat yang dalam hal ini dipresentasikan oleh LKAAM Tanah Datar beserta KAN Cubadak dan KAN Sumaniak turut serta berproses dalam penguatan demokrasi lokal di Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Ada beberapa ciri dari demokrasi lokal, di antaranya adalah terdapatnya fungsi mediasi dan resolusi konflik yang memadai dalam suatu lembaga. Berdasarkan ciri tersebut, LKAAM Tanah Datar berupaya menyelesaikan perkara adat seperti masalah sako dan pusako yang terjadi di Kabupaten Tanah Datar dengan menjalankan fungsi sebagai mediator dan menawarkan rekomendasi solusi untuk menengahi permasalahan dari kedua belah pihak yang berperkara.Kata kunci: Lembaga adat, demokrasi lokal, LKAAM Tanah Datar
