Abstract

The problem in this study is that there are pros and cons that occur in society, there needs to be proof, is it really learning English in Early Childhood. The purpose of this study is to describe the learning process, success rate, constraints and solutions in learning English at Kober Al-Ihsan Islamic School. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. The data sources for this study consisted of school principals, teachers, parents and students. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques with reduction, display and verification. The results showed that English research at Kober Al-Ihsan Islamic School was running in an orderly, smooth and effective manner. so that children are accustomed and confident in using English, the school holds a meeting or parenting to socialize the school program. From the results of these observations it can be seen that there is success in achieving English learning at Kober Al-Ihsan Islamic School with an average level of child development developing as expected and developing very well. The obstacle faced is that it is difficult for children to distinguish between spoken and written forms. The solution offered is to give more time to learn English when coming home from school while waiting to be picked up by parents. The advice that the author can give is that learning English in early childhood can continue to be preserved and used daily in order to make Indonesian children smart, able to compete in the international world while upholding religious values and local wisdom.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of the teacher's role in developing the character of early childhood independence. So the purpose of this study is to find out the character of children's independence, to find out the role of the teacher during the learning process in developing the character of children's independence, to find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in developing the character of children's independence. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Collection techniques through observation techniques interviews and documentation. The data sources of this research are group B teachers, group B3 students. Furthermore, in data analysis techniques, researchers use the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the independence of group B children was in accordance with their developmental stages, in physical abilities shown by the ability of children to wear their own shoes, responsible as evidenced by the child's ability when doing tasks from the teacher the child tries to complete it, sociable can be seen from the child's ability to socialize with classmates even though school has only been held for two weeks but children have been able to socialize and discipline, able to express opinions, control emotions reasonably. The role of the teacher in developing independence is as a model, guide, trainer, motivator and assessor and the supporting factors in developing children's independence are the role of educators, learning strategies, learning methods, and adequate facilities.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic, which was declared an emergency condition in Indonesia, has an impact on the education sector, the government issued a new policy regarding distance learning from early childhood to college levels. The purpose of this research is to find out the ability of teachers to use video conferencing applications, the intensity of teachers in using video conferencing applications, the efforts of teachers in utilizing video conferencing applications to improve the quality of learning. The research method chosen by the researcher is descriptive qualitative naturalistic research method. The collection techniques used by researchers are interviews, observation and documentation. The data obtained by researchers came from Ashofiah Kindergarten and RA Syifaaush Shuduur in Bojongloa Kidul District, Bandung City. The data processing technique carried out by researchers is by reducing data, displaying data and finally verifying data. The results showed that the ability of PAUD teachers to use video conference applications was still low, the intensity of PAUD teachers in using video conference applications was less than 10%. Efforts made by teachers as a distance learning media do not use video conferencing applications, the use of video conferencing applications at the PAUD level has no impact on the quality of PAUD learning

Abstract

The problem in this study is the Covid-19 pandemic which has an impact on the world of education, especially at Diana Safira Kindergarten, which results in having to adapt to government policies regarding the rules of learning activities that must continue to run and go hand in hand with the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of blended leaning in developing the character of independence and responsibility of children aged 5-6 years at Diana Safira Kindergarten. This research method uses Descriptive method with Qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation techniques. The results of this study that the planning and learning process follow government policies related to learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the role of parents is very necessary for PAUD to act as educators, act as facilitators, act as supervisors and companions, act as motivators, act as examples of good figures. Learning constraints during the Covid-19 pandemic due to lack of attention and cooperation of parents to learn online and face-to-face is limited. The implementation of blended learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in improving the character of independence and responsibility of children can be realized well if there is cooperation between the school and parents
