Efforts to optimize zakat in Indonesia, zakat management institutions that have been recognized by the government consist of the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) and the Zakat Management Institution (LAZ). The aim is to analyze the implementation and risk reduction in zakat manangement institutions in terms of fund collection, distribution, and reporting. This study is based on the theory of risk management in non-profit organizations, which emphasizes operational risk control to improve accountability and public trust. The method used is qualitative with primary and secondary data sources. The focus of this study is the branch heads and employees of three zakat management institutions in Surakarta; LAZ Yatim Mandiri Surakarta, LAZ Nurul Hayat Surakarta, and LAZ DT Peduli Surakarta. The results show that zakat institutions in Surakarta have implemented risk mitigation strategies by improving internal controls in the processes of fundraising, distribution, and reporting of funds. The implementation of ZCP numbers 10, 16, and 18 plays an important role in mitigating the risks of zakat management. The results indicate that zakat management policies need to be strengthened and also serve as a basis for strengthening national zakat governance policies.

The implementation of wadiah contracts in digital sharia savings in Indonesia has undergone an essential shift from classical fiqh substance. Contracts that should be non-profit (tabarru') and aimed at safekeeping (yad amanah) have been modified into commercial instruments for collecting cheap funds (wadiah yad dhamanah). This research is a descriptive qualitative study, with direct interviews conducted at the institution. The results show that this shift is exacerbated by the issue of aggressively promoted bonuses, which blur the line between voluntary donations and promises of rewards that resemble usury. Digitalization accelerates this commercialization, reducing Sharia contracts to mere technical features without their ethical spirit. The ambiguity and unfairness of the benefits received by customers threaten the principles of hifz al-mal and hifz al-din. Without a fundamental repositioning, digital wadiah contracts risk losing their authenticity and turning Islamic banking into a mere replica of conventional banking with an Islamic label.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of cooperation principles in Islamic economics within the traditional salted fish processing industry in Pulau Pasaran, Bandar Lampung City. The research focuses on the forms and mechanisms of cooperation practiced and their alignment with Islamic economic principles, particularly justice, mutual assistance (ta’awun), trustworthiness (amanah), and risk-sharing. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving actors in the salted fish processing industry. The findings reveal that cooperation practices remain informal and rely heavily on personal trust, without clear contractual agreements. Although Islamic economic values are culturally embedded through solidarity and honesty, their implementation has not been institutionally structured. Profit and risk-sharing mechanisms tend to be disproportionate, resulting in unequal relationships between capital owners and workers. These findings indicate a gap between the normative ideals of Islamic economics and empirical practices in traditional industries. The study concludes that strengthening Islamic economic literacy, business mentoring, and the establishment of fair and transparent cooperation mechanisms are essential to promote sustainable implementation of Islamic economic cooperation principles in traditional industrial sectors.

Penelitian ini membahas implementasi permodalan syariah dalam Perseroan Terbatas (PT) sebagai bentuk integrasi antara hukum perusahaan modern dan prinsip-prinsip hukum ekonomi syariah. Permasalahan utama yang dikaji adalah bagaimana konsep permodalan syariah diterapkan dalam struktur PT yang secara normatif diatur oleh Undang-Undang Nomor 40 Tahun 2007 tentang Perseroan Terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesesuaian konsep permodalan syariah dengan karakteristik PT serta mengidentifikasi mekanisme implementasi yang sesuai dengan hukum positif dan prinsip syariah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan, konseptual, dan analitis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permodalan syariah dapat diimplementasikan dalam PT melalui instrumen saham syariah, akad musyarakah, akad mudharabah, dan penerbitan sukuk, dengan syarat dilakukan penyesuaian anggaran dasar, penerapan tata kelola perusahaan berbasis syariah, serta pengawasan Dewan Pengawas Syariah. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi akademik berupa penguatan dasar yuridis PT syariah serta kontribusi praktis bagi pelaku usaha dalam mengembangkan badan usaha yang sesuai prinsip syariah. The development of contemporary Islamic economics has grown significantly; however, it still faces fundamental challenges related to its epistemological foundation and scientific orientation. The dominance of legal-formal and technical approaches in both academic discourse and practical implementation often leads to the marginalization of substantive welfare objectives, which constitute the core purpose of Islamic law. This study aims to analyze the concept of maslahah as a paradigmatic foundation for contemporary Islamic economics. Employing a qualitative approach with a library research method, this study critically examines classical and contemporary literature derived from authoritative books, accredited national journals, and reputable international journals. The findings indicate that maslahah holds strong potential as a paradigm for Islamic economics, as it shapes foundational assumptions, scientific objectives, and methodological orientations grounded in collective welfare, social justice, and sustainability. Nevertheless, existing studies tend to position maslahah merely as a normative or limited applicative principle rather than as a comprehensive epistemological framework. This study underscores the urgency of reconstructing Islamic economics based on the maslahah paradigm to address contemporary economic challenges in a more holistic and equitable manner

This study analyzes the product innovation and branding strategies of Es Teler Kuy MSMEs in increasing business competitiveness in Sukamaju Village, Baregbeg District, Ciamis Regency. The purpose of this study is to examine the application of product innovation and strengthening brand identity as an effort to expand the market and maintain business sustainability. The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, with data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model. The results show that innovation is carried out through the transformation of traditional es teler into a modern dessert with a creamy sauce, the use of premium fruit, a variety of toppings, and biodegradable packaging that increases consumer appeal and drives an increase in demand of up to 40%. Branding strategies are built through a locally distinctive visual identity, memorable slogans, and the use of consumer-driven social media to expand market reach and strengthen product image. The impact is seen in increased sales, price affordability, and socioeconomic contributions in the form of job creation and strengthening village economic identity. However, limited distribution and low digital literacy remain obstacles. This study confirms that the integration of product innovation and contextual branding effectively increases the competitiveness of rural MSMEs

The distribution of wealth in Islam is a strategic instrument for achieving social justice and equitable welfare. One important mechanism in this distribution is the inheritance system (faraidh), which not only functions as a mechanism for transferring wealth between generations, but also as a means of maintaining economic balance and family harmony. This study aims to analyze the optimization of inheritance utilization in supporting family economic empowerment and to identify various challenges faced in its management. This study uses a qualitative approach based on literature review by examining various research results related to productive inheritance management. The results of the study show that transparent, fair, and Sharia-compliant inheritance management has the potential to improve the welfare of heirs, strengthen family solidarity, and create sustainable business opportunities. However, a lack of understanding of faraidh law, conflicts between heirs, and weak legal documentation are major challenges that often hinder the optimization of inheritance assets. Therefore, education, open communication, and professional asset management are needed so that inheritance assets can contribute maximally to the economic development of the community.

The development of e-commerce in Indonesia shows rapid growth, especially in the fashion product category, which is one of the sectors with the highest transaction rates on digital platforms. This condition encourages consumers to be more selective in making purchasing decisions by considering various factors that influence consumption behavior. Discounts are one of the effective marketing strategies in attracting consumer interest, while customer experience plays an important role in building satisfaction, comfort, and trust in online shopping platforms. This phenomenon is also seen among Shopee platform users in Cisaat District, who are increasingly active in purchasing fashion products online. This study aims to analyze the influence of discounts and customer experience on fashion product purchasing decisions on the Shopee platform in Cisaat District. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires to 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with hypothesis testing through t-tests, F-tests, and determination coefficients. The results of the study indicate that discounts and customer experience, both partially and simultaneously, have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. These findings confirm that the right discount strategy and improving the quality of customer experience can be important factors in driving consumer purchasing decisions on e-commerce platforms.

The development of the platform-based digital creative economy has created new forms of transactions involving complex contractual relationships among economic actors. One emerging practice is paid video clipping in digital campaigns, where content creators distribute promotional clips through platform-based task mechanisms. Although increasingly used, the underlying contractual construction has not been widely analyzed from the perspective of Islamic economic law. This study aims to analyze and formulate the multi-contract structure in paid video clipping practices within platform-based digital campaigns. It uses a library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach through conceptual analysis of literature on muamalah fiqh and digital economic studies. The results show that this practice forms a multi-contract configuration involving a wakālah bi al-ujrah contract between the brand and the digital platform and a ju‘ālah contract between the platform and the content creator. Both operate simultaneously in interconnected platform-based transactions. This study demonstrates that the multi-contract approach is a relevant framework for explaining the complexity of transactions in the non-financial digital creative economy and expands its application in Islamic economic law to contemporary digital practices.
