Abstract

Objective: Stroke remains a leading cause of global disability, and with ageing populations, there is a growing need for advanced medical interventions. This literature review aims to assess how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies have transformed the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care of stroke patients. Methods: A comprehensive literature review was conducted using databases such as PubMed, IEEE Xplore, and Scopus, covering articles published from January 2018 to August 2024. The review focused on studies related to the application of AI/ML in stroke diagnosis, treatment, and management, including ethical, technical, and regulatory issues. Results: AI and ML technologies have significantly enhanced stroke diagnosis, primarily through advanced deep learning models that analyze imaging data more accurately and rapidly than traditional methods. These AI-based models have demonstrated high precision in detecting ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, reducing diagnosis time by up to 50% and markedly improving patient outcomes. Predictive models utilizing big data have consistently surpassed traditional risk assessments in forecasting stroke outcomes and customizing treatments. AI-driven decision-support systems have improved patient selection for thrombolysis and mechanical thrombectomy, optimizing treatment strategies. Conclusion: While AI and ML offer substantial advancements in stroke management, including improved diagnosis, personalized therapy, and prognosis, challenges remain. Issues such as data quality, algorithmic transparency, integration into clinical workflows, algorithmic bias, and patient privacy must be addressed. Further research is needed to overcome these technical, ethical, and regulatory obstacles to fully integrate AI and ML into healthcare systems and enhance stroke management and patient outcomes.

Abstract

Efficient energy manitoring and overload protection on distribution transformers are very much needed. This study aims to develop a power usage management system and overload protection integrated with Internet of Things (IoT) technology, with a specific target to monitor and manage power usage on distribution transformers in real time, as well as provide automatic protection against overload conditions. The methodology used in this study involves the design and implementation of hardware and software that supports wireless communication and data analysis. This system is also equipped with a power reading and protection mechanism that can automatically cut off the electricity flow when an overload detection occurs, in order to prevent damage to the transformer, it is expected that this system can increase the efficiency of power usage management and provide a quick response to overload conditions. The implementation of this system is expected to reduce operational costs and increase the reliability of electricity supply on the distribution network. Based on the tests that have been carried out, it has been proven that the system has worked well in maintaining important variables in the power usage management system and overload protection on the Internet of Things integrated distribution transformer.

Abstract

Tilapia cultivation requires good management of water quality and proper feeding to ensure optimal fish growth. One of the main challenges in this process is maintaining the water pH level within ideal limits and providing feed according to the needs of the fish based on their size. In addition, limited access to electricity in some locations makes fish pond management less efficient. This study aims to design an automated water circulation system that is regulated based on the water pH level and automatic feeding according to the needs of the fish, by utilizing solar panels as a power source. This system uses a pH sensor to monitor water conditions in real time and regulate water circulation to maintain ideal pH levels. Feeding is regulated based on the size and number of fish to ensure optimal feed efficiency and fish growth. This system is powered by solar panel energy, so it can operate independently without relying on conventional electricity networks. Test results show that the system is able to maintain water pH stability and automate feeding with high accuracy, while utilizing renewable energy effectively. The use of solar panels not only reduces dependence on electricity, but also reduces operational costs and supports environmental sustainability. This system is expected to increase the efficiency and productivity of tilapia cultivation, especially in areas with limited access to electricity.

Abstract

This study analyzes jealousy within blended family structures and its impact on violence against stepchildren, focusing on a case in Pontianak. A qualitative case study approach was employed, using data from police reports and relevant podcast interviews. The findings reveal that the stepmother's jealousy, triggered by the husband's unequal attention between biological and stepchildren, led to emotional tension that escalated into physical violence. Social pressures and the inability to manage jealousy exacerbated conflicts within the family. The study highlights the importance of healthy emotional management and social support in preventing domestic violence, particularly within blended families.

Abstract

Health issues are fundamental in society. Moreover, after COVID-19, several adjustments were made to strengthen public health. Then the importance of developing quality human resources as a national priority cannot be separated from good nutritional status, especially in nutritionally vulnerable groups such as pregnant women and toddlers. Optimal nutritional conditions for pregnant women are very important because they have the potential to influence the growth and development process of the fetus. Malnutrition in pregnant women can increase the risk of giving birth to babies with low birth weight (LBW) and stunting. Likewise, toddlers as a group who are in a period of rapid growth and development are very vulnerable to malnutrition. Therefore, special attention to pregnant women and toddlers needs to be increased in an effort to improve national nutritional status. This research was conducted to determine the success of the implementation of the Posyandu program in Pondok Rajeg Village, Cibinong District, Bogor Regency in an effort to fulfill the rights of pregnant women and toddlers. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method using George C. Edward III's theory with four dimensions, namely Communication, Resources, Disposition and Bureaucratic Structure. The success of the implementation or implementation of the Posyandu program in Pondokrajeg Village, Cibinong District, Bogor Regency has been good, which can be seen from the results of research with resource persons, supporting documents and reports on improving the health of pregnant women and toddlers in Pondok Rajeg District, Cibinong District, Bogor Regency

Abstract

This research investigates the implications of Chinese investment in Bangladesh, particularly in the context of concerns surrounding debt trap diplomacy. As China extends its Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), Bangladesh has emerged as a significant recipient of Chinese loans and investments, encompassing infrastructure projects such as ports, power plants, and highways. While these investments are poised to bolster Bangladesh's economic development, they also raise concerns about the potential for unsustainable debt levels and the erosion of sovereignty. This study delves into the economic, political, and social ramifications of Chinese investments in Bangladesh. Through a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative analysis of debt sustainability indicators and qualitative assessments from stakeholder interviews, the research examines whether Chinese funding is leading to a debt trap scenario. Preliminary findings suggest that while Chinese investments have accelerated infrastructure development, they have also increased Bangladesh's debt burden and dependency on China. Furthermore, the strategic placement of investments suggests potential geopolitical motivations behind Chinese funding. This research aims to contribute to the broader discourse on the impact of Chinese foreign direct investment in developing countries, offering policy recommendations for Bangladesh to navigate the complexities of foreign financing without compromising its economic sovereignty. The study underscores the necessity for rigorous debt management and transparent investment policies to mitigate the risks associated with large-scale foreign loans.
