Abstract

Asphalt concrete is one type of bending pavement that is commonly used in Indonesia. Asphalt concrete is a layer on highway construction consisting of a mixture of hard asphalt and aggregates that well graded, mixed, spread and compacted in hot state at a certain temperature. In this study, aggregate substitute materials the rough used is waste from steel smelting (Slag). The utilization of Slag as a substitute for coarse aggregates can be reducing environmental problems due to Slag being included in waste B3 (Hazardous and Toxic Materials) and its huge amount. Purpose from this study is to find out the physical properties of Slag used as a substitute material for coarse aggregates and the influence of the use of Slag against Marshall's characteristics in the AC-BC mixture. In this study Slag is used as a coarse aggregate enhancer material in AC-BC (Asphalt Concrete-Binder Course) mixture with asphalt content obtained from the optimum asphalt content of 6% and Slag used is 10% and 20%. The results of this study show that slag cannot be used as a coarse aggregate enhancing agent. The influence on Marshall's characteristics is also seen from the lower stability values of the normal mixture. For VFA, VIM, VMA, Flow and MQ values indicate that do not meet the specification

Abstract

Jalan Captain Pierre Tendean is one of the connecting roads between Jalan Brigjend Katamso and Jalan Gatot Subroto which is often passed by local and foreign vehicles. As one of the local roads in the city of Ketapang, this road is also passed by commercial vehicles such as trucks with the heaviest axle load of 5 tons where the excessive load can trigger damage to this road, the average LHRN value on this road is 11 commercial vehicles . The existing road is still in the form of asphalt where there are several points of damage. This is one of the reasons for planning road improvement. The purpose of this study was to determine the thickness of rigid pavement, to know the plan drawings and to know the cost budget plan (RAB). From a good road there is good soil too, the soil is the basic foundation that plays an important role. One of the data needed in the planning of pavement thickness is the CBR value of the soil. The CBR value is obtained from testing with a Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP), on the subgrade of this road the average CBR value reaches 8,40%. In planning the thickness of this rigid pavement using the 2017 SNI 8457 catalog as a reference that regulates the thickness of the lower foundation layer and the thickness of the concrete slab. By using the average CBR value, the thickness of the sub-base layer for this design is 150 mm, for the design lean concrete with thickness of 50 mm, 9,8 MPa or K-125 concrete is used and for the design concrete slab size is 150 mm thick, it is used. 19,3 MPa or K-225 concrete. The planned cost for the rigid pavement of Captain Pierre Tendean is Rp 518,089.000,00 (Five Hundred Eighteen Million Eighty Nine Thousand Rupiah).

Abstract

The rapid development of infrastructure in Indonesia, especially in the field of housing, has made people interested in developing multi-level housing, including in Tegal Gondo Village, Karangploso District, Malang Regency because of its geographical location which borders Malang City and has great potential as a supporting area. However, the condition of the soil which has very varied fluctuations (rising and falling) of the ground water level during the rainy and dry seasons is considered dangerous because several houses showed cracks in the sloof and walls during the initial study. So it is necessary to plan the reduction coefficient of soil bearing capacity for planning shallow foundations for simple dwellings. This planning was translated into three stages of activity, namely data collection, laboratory testing, and data processing using Plaxis Version 8.2 software which was confirmed using manual calculations using the Terzaghi formula. Variations in soil depth were taken at -1.00 m and -2.00 m with a 1.00 x 1.00 square shallow foundation design model. The results of the researchyielded a φR value (reduction number of bearing capacity) of 0.64 from an average bearing capacity of 66.13 tons/m2 at a depth of -1.00 m. In addition, at a depth of -2.00 m it has a φR value (reduction number of bearing capacity) of 0.55 from an average carrying capacity of 105.78 tons/m2.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic had an impact on the transportation sector, where the Government has placed restrictions on people's movements. This had an impact on the weakening of the passenger transportation industry as a result of the decreased number of passengers during the pandemic to post-pandemic covid 19. This study aims to determine the performance of urban transportation fares in Cirebon City, especially the D6 route with the Vehicle Operating Cost approach based on actual load factor data in the field. The method used in this study was a primary survey which included headway survey and passenger get in-get off survey. The data obtained then analyzed using the Vehicle Operating Costs approach in calculating fares to determine the suitability between the actual conditions and the operating costs that must be incurred. The results showed that under actual conditions (the highest average load factor was 45%), the existing fare of Rp.6.000/passenger was below the fare based on vehicle operating costs which resulted in a fare of Rp.8.707/passenger. In order to ensure the sustainability of urban transportation operations in Cirebon City, it is necessary to increase the number of transport passengers according to a minimum standard of 70% load factor or apply subsidies from the Government for the implementation of urban transportation.

Abstract

Terdapat tiga konsep desain oprit jembatan yang berbeda pada saat mendesain jembatan layang Deltamas di Kota Bekasi, yaitu slab on spun pile, slab on bored pile, dan slab on bored pile. Dengan adanya variasi pilihan desain tersebut, analisis detail pergerakan struktur harus dilakukan sebelum rencana struktur oprit jembatan layang Deltamas dapat dibuat. Arah lateral dianalisa dengan menggunakan metode p-y curve, sedangkan desain slab on spun pile dan bored pile dianalisa dengan menggunakan metode elemen hingga. Daya dukung aksial dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode Mayerhoff. Pada kedalaman 24 meter dan 8 baris tiang berdiameter 0,6 meter, slab on spun pile memiliki daya dukung yang cukup dan defleksi maksimum tiang pada permukaan adalah 9,09 mm. (< 25mm), namun diperlukan perkuatan. Sementara itu, slab on bored pile memiliki daya dukung yang cukup pada kedalaman 28 m dengan 5 baris tiang berdiameter 0,8 m, dan nilai defleksi maksimum tiang pada permukaan adalah 9,44 mm (< 25 mm). Penulis menyarankan alternatif desain Slab on Bored Pile untuk berbagai faktor, termasuk stabilitas struktur.
