Abstract

Abstract

The effect of the addition of rice husk ash (rice husk ash) to the K-175 formula quality concrete mixture, as an aggregate mixture to the concrete compressive strength test using a Compression Testing Machine to get the compressive strength value of concrete and can be used as an alternative material as an additional material in making concrete in improving the quality of building construction. The study uses K-175 concrete quality characteristics as a test material. Test object in the shape of a cube with a size of 15cm x 15cm. With 4 variations in levels of addition of rice husk ash by 0%, 1.5%, 3.5%, and 5% by weight of cement. The husk ash used is the husk ash that escaped the 2.36 mm filter size. From each type of mixture made 9 test specimens, every 3 specimens for the age of concrete 7 days, 14 days and 28 days. Concrete mortar design using ASTM method. With material sources using fine aggregate from the Pawan Ketapang River and coarse aggregate from Merak, Banten. Stages of implementation include examining the nature of aggregate materials, sample making, and testing of concrete compressive strength.

Abstract

Asphalt concrete is one type of bending pavement that is commonly used in Indonesia. Asphalt concrete is a layer on highway construction consisting of a mixture of hard asphalt and aggregates that well graded, mixed, spread and compacted in hot state at a certain temperature. In this study, aggregate substitute materials the rough used is waste from steel smelting (Slag). The utilization of Slag as a substitute for coarse aggregates can be reducing environmental problems due to Slag being included in waste B3 (Hazardous and Toxic Materials) and its huge amount. Purpose from this study is to find out the physical properties of Slag used as a substitute material for coarse aggregates and the influence of the use of Slag against Marshall's characteristics in the AC-BC mixture. In this study Slag is used as a coarse aggregate enhancer material in AC-BC (Asphalt Concrete-Binder Course) mixture with asphalt content obtained from the optimum asphalt content of 6% and Slag used is 10% and 20%. The results of this study show that slag cannot be used as a coarse aggregate enhancing agent. The influence on Marshall's characteristics is also seen from the lower stability values of the normal mixture. For VFA, VIM, VMA, Flow and MQ values indicate that do not meet the specification

Abstract

PKM programs are implemented to increase students' creativity in writing scientific papers improve critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. The implementation of PKM has presented information in the implementation of training activities and guidance for writing scientific papers. It can equip students to take part in regional and national LKTIs. The materials presented during the training were: 1) Understanding of KTI; 2) Preparation of KTI; 3) KTI Preparation Practice, and 4) Sharing and assistance in the preparation of KTI. At the end of the activity, 70% of students are expected to be able to make a KTI design. Furthermore, of the students who made the KTI design, 50% of them succeeded in making a scientific paper and were included in the regional and national LKTI

Abstract

Students at the vocational higher education level prepare to become graduates and are ready to be used by industry. The objectives of vocational higher education are to develop other skills and valuable training for students facing the industry world in the future. This skill is called scientific skill. Students need to be involved in various appropriate activities in the learning process to develop students' scientific skills. Students need scientific skills to design their work steps, process skills, and report practicum results in reports and presentations. Ethnoscience is related to the culture of a society. It contains local or original science, where knowledge has become part of a society's culture and is passed down from generation to generation. Students learn by integrating scientific science with original science so that students make more sense in learning. Living knowledge in society can be transformed into scientific knowledge and used as a good learning resource for students. Ethnoscience-based textbooks can be a suitable learning resource to support culture-based learning activities from the natural environment realized in textbooks and audio-visuals. The validation of ethnoscience-based textbooks obtained 3.28 points over 4, which includes the feasible-to-use category

Abstract

Problem-solving worksheets are educational resources that serve as a roadmap for instruction that give students methodical steps to hone their analytical, creative, and critical thinking abilities. This student problem-solving worksheet facilitates learning both individually and in groups by helping students comprehend the subject matter and practice skills. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the caliber of students' worksheets using a legitimate and useful technique to fluid material problem-solving. The four stages of a 4D research design—define, design, develop, and disseminate—are used in the process of product development. The study's findings demonstrate that employing a problem-solving strategy to validate students' worksheets produced a score for reliability of 1 with a suitable category. The proportion of responses from students

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a high risk of natural disasters, due to its position between major tectonic plates and in the Pacific Ring of Fire. This condition makes Indonesia prone to disasters. However, the low level of student understanding of disaster response measures shows the importance of disaster education from an early age. This community service activity aims to improve the understanding and preparedness of SMKN 1 Ketapang students in facing disasters through socialization and simulation of disaster management. The activity method consists of socializing disaster material with the help of visual aids and direct simulations guided by the BPBD team. Through the stages of preparation, socialization, and simulation, students were given an in-depth understanding of the types of disasters, evacuation techniques, and the use of light fire extinguishers (APAR). The evaluation results showed a significant increase in understanding from 30% to 80% after this activity was implemented. This increase shows that disaster education involving theory and practice is effective in building students' awareness and preparedness. This program is expected to be continued regularly to build a culture of disaster preparedness among school students.
