Abstract

The growing complexity of urban infrastructure necessitates efficient management of utilities like electricity, water, and telecommunications. Multi Utility Tunnels (MUTs) provide a consolidated approach to housing these utilities, reducing surface disruption and enhancing maintenance efficiency. This study assesses the structural performance and stress distribution within MUTs using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) through LISA FEA V.8 software. The analysis involved detailed geometric modeling of the MUT, considering initial conditions and potential subsidence. Material properties for steel, concrete, wood, backfill soil, and the top surface layer were defined, focusing on their Young's modulus, density, and Poisson's ratio. The MUT was subjected to a uniform line pressure of 86.49 kN/m, representing vehicular traffic and pedestrian loads. Results showed that the applied stresses and observed deflections were within safe limits, with a tensile strength of 3.4 MPa and current stress at 3046 kN/m², indicating no risk of cracking. The observed deflection of 3.9 mm was significantly below the allowable limit of 10 mm, affirming structural stability. The reinforcing steel also exhibited stress levels well within its allowable limit, demonstrating the design's adequacy and ensuring the structure's safety and efficiency under the specified load conditions

Abstract

Simpang Empat Duren Tiga in South Jakarta, involving Jl. Duren Bangka, Jl. Duren Tiga, Jl. Mampang Prapatan Raya, and Jl. Hj. Tutty Alawiyah, often experiencing congestion due to dense traffic flow and disruption on roads during peak hours. This study analyzed the capacity, queue length, and delays to reduce congestion. The Data used include primary data from field surveys and observations, as well as secondary data on the number of city residents. The purpose of this analysis is expected to improve the performance of intersections that often experience traffic conflicts. This analysis uses the PTV vissim Software method, there are 2 alternative improvements used in the study, namely Alternative 1-rearrangement of traffic light signals and changes in signal phase, alternative 2 – making changes to road widening. The results obtained from this study in the southern approach sebeum existence of alternative solutions obtained an average queue length of 69.183 m, the average delay of vehicles 69.643 seconds/vehicle, and the average delay of all road users 69.643 seconds / vehicle, so that the level of service performance obtained intersection F. After alternative solutions, the results obtained on the southern approach with an average queue length of 64.849 m, the average delay of vehicles 20.437 seconds/vehicle, and the average delay of all road users 17.254 seconds/vehicle, so that the level of service performance of the intersection increased to C. Abstract

Route 04 City Transport is public transportation that operates in Kuningan Regency. This transportation is operated to reduce traffic density and facilitate the people mobility. The aim of the research is to evaluate the performance and tarrifs for Route 04 City Transport whether they meet the requirements or not and to find out what is the passenger’s perception of the performance of the services provided. The methods used in this research are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and collecting primary data on operational performance and tariffs referring to the Director General of Land Transportation’s method SK/687/AJ.206/DRJD/2002 as well as WTP (Willingness To Pay), and service performance referring to the Importance – Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The serults obtained in this research are that there are 3 indicators that do not meet the requirments, namely load factor, service time and fleet availability level. The result of the tariff analysis refer to analysis vehicle operational costs if the tariff with a load factor of 70% is charged at Rp.4.250,44/person and the tariff with load factor of 21,59% is charged at Rp.13.780,9/person and the WTP is mostly desired passengers pay the lowest fare namely IDR 3.000,00. The service performance result obtained using the IPA method contain several attributes that must be maintained, namely in quadrant II and several attributes that must be improved, namely in quadrant I, quadrant III, and quadrant IV

Abstract

Simpang tiga Jl. condet – Jl. TB Simatupang is the main road connecting East Jakarta with South Jakarta. The existing condition at the signalized intersection is a commercial area that can cause vehicle congestion at certain hours (peak hour). The purpose of this study is to determine the performance condition of the signalized intersection of Jalan TB Simatupang – Jalan Condet and the appropriate handling according to the condition of the intersection. Data processing uses the Indonesia Road Capacity Manual method (MKJI, 1997). Data processing is carried out for 2 days in the morning, afternoon, and evening for 2 hours in each time period. The data was used to calculate the value of queue length, degree of saturation, signal cycle time, delay and Level of Service (LOS) at each arm of the intersection of Jalan TB Simatupang – Jalan Condet. The results of the analysis on the existing condition of the three-signal intersection are Level of Service in category F (very bad) during peak hours, with a cycle time of 153 seconds. An alternative solution was carried out to deal with this condition with the first alternative changing the cycle time to 100 seconds, the Level of Service value still shows F. For the second alternative with widening on each approach to 2.1 meters on the right side and 2.1 meters on the left side. Level of Service in category D (Less). Of the two alternatives, the second alternative is the best alternative to overcome the problems that occur at the signalized intersection of Jalan TB Simatupang – Jalan Condet.

Abstract

The Melawi Regency Public Service Mall Building is planned in West Kalimantan which is an area with low earthquake intensity. Every building structure in Indonesia needs to be planned to withstand earthquakes. The planned structural elements such as plates, beams, columns, and foundations must have sufficient strength to withstand earthquake loads in order to provide a sense of security for the occupants of the building. Structural planning uses reinforced concrete material according to SNI 2847-2019. The material quality used is concrete fc' 25 Mpa and 30 Mpa, reinforcement fy 420 Mpa and fy 280 Mpa. Structural loading refers to PPPURG 1987 and SNI 1727-2020. Earthquake load analysis uses the spectrum response method which refers to SNI 1726-2019. Modeling and structural analysis using the SAP2000 program. The results of determining the structural system obtained for the Public Service Mall building structure use the Ordinary Moment Bearing Frame System (SRPMB) as a seismic force resisting system. The calculation results obtained a 12 cm plate for the floor, 13 cm for the roof deck, 15 cm for the elevator pit, 20 cm for the stairs with D10 reinforcement. Dimension of main beam and bordes 30/50 cm, subsidiary beam and elevator 25/40 cm with D16 reinforcement. Column dimension 50/50 cm with 12D19 reinforcement. The foundation uses a pilecape measuring 150x150x50 cm with 4 piles with a diameter of 30/30 cm 14 m deep
