Abstract

Bailey Bridge is a steel frame bridge that is generally used as a temporary emergency bridge. Although this type of bridge has been widely used, one of them is at the location of the Pesaguan-Kendawangan Road, but there are still some obstacles in the steel frame assembly process. Therefore, the researcher wants to make a comparison between the standard method of implementing the Bailey Bridge in the Temporary Bridge Technology book and the method implemented in the location. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation method of bridge assembly at the location of Jalan PesaguanKendawangan and compare it with the standard method. The research was carried out using observation and interview methods with informants to obtain information about the assembly of the Bailey bridge at the location. The results of observations and interviews were analyzed by comparison with the standard Bailey Bridge. The data obtained shows that there are nine steps of implementing the assembly of Bailey Bridge components at the location of the PesaguanKendawangan Road Section, starting from the assembly of base plate components, panel components, panel post I components, transom components, pin components, bracing components, raker components, panel post II components, and finally the deck plate component. The comparison results show that 6 out of 10 bridge assembly parameters have met existing standards.

Abstract

The study at the Kauman roundabout is essentially motivated by the performance of the intersection, the flow of traffic that occurs causes congestion, especially during rush hours, so it needs further attention. The purpose of this study are determine the effect of unsignalized intersections with roundabouts on capacity, degree of saturation, delays and queuing opportunities that may occured, and the Level of Service (LOS). The research method in data collection is direct observation in the location. The types of data used are both primary and secondary. Primary data, is obtained from direct observation in the location, while secondary data is obtained from related agencies. The basis for solving or analyzing data is using the equations contained in the 1997 Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) to determine the performance value, feasibility and the level of service. The results show that the performance values (DS) on the AB, BC, CD, and DA links are 0.30; 0.39; 0.26; and 0.38. The level of feasibility of the Kauman Roundabout is good in serving traffic flow because the degree of saturation in each link is less than 0.75. Meanwhile, the level of service in all relationships has a B value

Abstract

Transportation problems in big cities in Indonesia, especially on Jalan R. Suprapto, Ketapang Regency are increasing from time to time in line with population growth, rapid growth in the number of vehicles and vehicle ownership, urbanization and an inefficient public transportation system. This has an impact on the decrease in the performance level of the road segment, including the U-Turn motion behavior at the road median opening. This study aims to determine traffic characteristics, road capacity, road service level (LOS), the average time for vehicles to perform U-turns, queue lengths and alternatives that will be applied in this study based on the 1997 MKJI guidelines. From the results of research and discussion on Jalan R. Suprapto the characteristic value of traffic flow which consists of traffic volume at rush hour from the direction of Jl. R. Suprapto – Jl. Gatot Subroto at 513.8 smp/hour and for the direction of Jl. Gatot Subroto – Jl. R. Suprapto at 651.35 smp/hour. The vehicle speed is 49.86 km/hour. Traffic density for the direction of Jl. R. Suprapto – Jl. Gatot Subroto of 10.24 smp/km and for the direction of Jl. Gatot Subroto – Jl. R. Suprapto 13.1 pcu/km. The road segment capacity is 5,422.3 pcu/hour. The value of the road service level obtained an A value.

Abstract

The native soil is subsoil with low plasticity, it has low slick-force properties, low permeability coefficient, and low backing. Land with low plasticity indexes has low supporting power when used as a basic foundation of both a road and a building that is a vital object, thus improving the soil. From the above problem, the research was intended to engineer original soil with a chalk mixture of four relative 0%,5%,10%, and 15%. The method used was in laboratory tests according to some ASTM standards. Each one was testing for properties and the value of the liquefied and plastic limits (Atterberg limit). From testing results obtained native soil according to the uses classification system, original soil belongs to low plastic-plated soils in the sedation to testing shows original soil has obtained a value of a plasticity index of 22.008%. While the results of the mixed soil test, the addition of lime can reduce the liquid limit value, plastic limit, and plasticity index.

Abstract

The road section on Gang Sei Pelanjo, Desa Negeri Baru, Kabupaten Ketapang is categorized as a road whose condition is still sandy and narrow due to the many small trees growing on the side of the road, so the road tends to be difficult to pass. The purpose of this study was to determine the CBR value of the original soil at the research location based on field CBR testing to obtain the value of the soil bearing capacity on the road, to obtain the results of planning a rigid pavement structure that suits the needs both in terms of safety, and the strength of the road segment using SNI 8457-2017 method. The research method was carried out by measuring the length of the road, the width of the road, the road shoulder to determine the condition of the existing road, then a traffic survey (LHR) to determine the volume and type of vehicles and a field CBR survey using the DCP tool to evaluate the strength of the subgrade and road foundation. The results of the analysis and calculation of the thickness of the rigid pavement structure for the road section on Gang Sei Pelanjo, Desa Negeri Baru,Kabupaten Ketapang, obtained the concrete used for the superstructure with a thickness of 0.15 m adjusted to the pavement thickness planning calculation. The under foundation of thin concrete uses a thickness of 0.5 m and uses a sub-base layer with a thickness of 0.15 m. The Budget Plan for the Gang Sei Pelanjo road, Desa Negeri Baru,Kabupaten Ketapangwith a road length of 200 m and a road width of 3 m is Rp. 186,512,082.89

Abstract

On Agricultural Road Mekar Sari Village, Benua Kayong District, Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan there are still roads that are separated by the flow of the river where the roads can be used by farmers in bringing their agricultural products to their destination, therefore the construction of bridges must be carried out at that location. At this time the planner used a type of concrete floor wooden bridge that was in accordance with the needs in the field. The objectives to be achieved are to make a plan drawing and calculate the budget required for the construction of a bridge on Road Agriculture. To obtain the data in this study, researchers used field observations and data collection for the 2021 Ketapang Regency material unit price list from PUPR to make the RAB. After making the plan drawings and analyzing the RAB calculation, the total cost needed for the construction of the bridge on Road Agriculture, Mekar Sari Village, is Rp. 31.357.000

Abstract

Soil density must be considered because of climate change and increasingly extreme weather. This is possible to cause things that are not desirable. The research was conducted in three stages, namely preparation, testing, and data analysis. Samples were taken at 10 points in Ketapang Regency. The data processing carried out showed that the wet soil density value in the sample soil was 1.05 gr/cm3 to 1.94 gr/cm3. The value of dry density in the sample soil is from 1.01 gr/cm3 to 1.88 gr/cm3. The value of water content in the sample soil is 16.01% to 41.87%. The CBR value obtained from testing with the CBR-test on the sample soil is 0.01% to 10.30%

Abstract

Flood in Ketapang Regency is a hazardous environmental condition for local people. It disrupts mo-bilization and economic activities. A preliminary study was conducted to identify the causes of the flood and the solution based on engineering perspective as mitigation approach. The hydrological analysis uses 15 years of rainfall data. The maximum rainfall analysis is using Gumbel and Log Person Type III distribution. Meanwhile, the fit test's goodness uses chi-square and Smirnov-Kolmogorov method. Another anal-ysis parameter investigated is soil's physical properties, topographical conditions, and contours. It was found that the flood occurs due to: first, the inability of the soil to infiltrate water (saturated soil); second, flat contour with no significant difference in the level; third, located close to the river, which was prone to overflows during the rainy season. The solution that recommends for more cost-effective is to carry out the normalization of soil drainage channels from both sides of the road.

Abstract

Mortar foam is one of the best alternatives to embankment soil, with a smaller load and very fast work, the use of this technology has been applied in several locations with small soil bearing capacity and requires time and cost efficient repairs, foam mortar has been used under construction of a road in Central Kalimantan and is still in good condition. This research was carried out to make improvements with the help of the Finite element method software using LISA FEA V.8. It may offer great information in calculating the stress levels that happen in the elements examined linearly and nonlinearly when examining the behavior of elements. For the selection of a very good oprit material, it tends to use mortar foam material because the material has contributed significantly to the carrying capacity of the oprit where from the deformation analysis and also the stresses that occur, the mortar foam material provides a fairly small deformation.

Abstract

Permasalahan transportasi di kota-kota besar di Indonesia khususnya di Jalan R. Suprapto Kabupaten Ketapang semakin meningkat dari waktu ke waktu sejalan dengan pertumbuhan populasi, pesatnya tingkat pertumbuhan jumlah kendaraan dan kepemilikan kendaraan, urbanisasi serta sistem angkutan umum yang kurang efisien. Hal ini berdampak pada turunnya tingkat kinerja ruas jalan, termasuk perilaku gerak U-Turn pada bukaan median jalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik lalu lintas, kapasitas jalan, tingkat pelayanan jalan (LOS), waktu rata-rata kendaraan melakukan U-Turn, panjang antrian dan alternatif yang akan di terapkan pada penelitian ini berdasarkan pedoman MKJI 1997. Dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan di Jalan R. Suprapto didapatkan nilai karakteristik arus lalu lintas yang terdiri dari volume lalu lintas pada jam sibuk dari arah Jl. R. Suprapto – Jl. Gatot Subroto sebesar 513,8 smp/jam dan untuk arah Jl. Gatot Subroto – Jl. R. Suprapto sebesar 651,35 smp/jam. Kecepatan kendaraan sebesar 49,86 km/jam. Kerapatan lalu lintas untuk arah Jl. R. Suprapto – Jl. Gatot Subroto sebesar 10,24 smp/km dan untuk arah Jl. Gatot Subroto – Jl. R. Suprapto 13,1 smp/km. Kapasitas ruas jalan sebesar 5.422,3 smp/jam. Nilai tingkat pelayanan jalan didapat nilai A
