Wahana Islamika: Jurnal Studi Keislaman (Print ISSN 2599-2929; Online 2614-1124) has been published by the Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Syubbanul Wathon Magelang. Wahana Islamika is published twice a year in April and October; the contents are scientific writings of Islamic studies in economics, education, science of the Quran, and tafsir in the forms of conceptual ideas, literature reviews, practical writing, or research results from various perspectives.

<![CDATA[Fakfak community is known as religious society, friendly, goodmanners, maintaining tolerance among religious people, appreciatingunity and unity because everything is contained in the philosophy andoutlook of life. Philosophy of society Fakfak is a life view that wasexcavated and formed based on mutual consensus that contains thenoble values of the people of Fakfak itself since time immemorial whichthen used as a bond and then the philosophy or life view is used as aguide and even motivation in running various aspects people's lives.The philosophy contains a substance where all attitudes and worldviewsare based on "family religion" or "custom, religion and government"which are summed up into “satu tungku tiga batu”. Thus when theoccurrence of Islamic transformation in the land of Papua and in Fakfakin particular it does not necessarily replace the existing values of Islamin the life of the people of Fakfak, even some aspects of the philosophy ofsociety Fakfak is in line with the spirit of Islamic teachings as a religionthat brings present "Grace" for nature and its contents including forthe people of Fakfak.]]>

<![CDATA[The focus in this study was the implications of boarding school systemat Asri Islamic Boarding School on the character building of students atSMP Syubbanul Wathon Tegalrejo, especially regarding how todevelop and implement boarding school system to the charactereducation of the students at at SMP Syubbanul Wathon Tegalrejo. Thiswas a qualitative research, conducted at SMP Syubbanul WathonTegalrejo. The data collection techniques were observation, interview,and documentation. The data validity test was performed usingtriangulation of data sources. The data analysis used descriptivemethod. To conclude this research, boarding school model thatsupports character education of students is in the form of integratedlearning through teaching-learning method (dirasah wa ta’li), makinghabit of virtuous behavior (ta’dib), spiritual activities (riyadhah), aswell as giving a role model (uswah hasanah) by kyai/nyai and ustadz.In addition, the students’ activities are also monitored throughregulations. All these are to support an education system that couldresult in virtuous character building of the students, where they areexpected to be independent in many aspects of their daily lives.]]>

<![CDATA[Efforts to provide educational stimuli and develop every potential ofchildren, requires the existence of teacher roles and performance that isto support the success of early childhood in developing creativity andall the potential that exists in children. Teachers are the most influentialcomponent to the creation of quality education processes and results.Based on this, this study aims to examine the effect of teachers'perceptions on transformational leadership and OrganizationalCitizenship Behavior (OCB) on teacher performance. This study usesquantitative approach with the number of research subjects whichamounted to 79 consisting of PAUD teachers in District Sedayu. Themethod of analysis used this research is multiple linier regressionanalysis. The results found that the perception of transformationalleadership and organizational citizenship behavior had a positive andsignificant influence on teacher performance. In addition, the study alsofound that transformational leadership perceptions have greaterinfluence on teacher performance when compared to the effects oforganizational citizenship behavior on teacher performance.]]>

The tradtion of Qur`anic wiriting >undergoes a very significant transformation; from traditional tomodern (printing). Based on data, the oldest Qur`anic printing inIndonesia is found in Palembang with the codecology 21 Ramadhan1264 H coinciding with 21 August 1848 M. This effort is done by alFaqir ila Allah Ta'ala al-Hajj Muhammad Azhari bin Kemas al-HajjiAbdullah. The effort to print the Qur'an can not be separated from therole of the company and the government. <![CDATA[The success of development is not sufficiently measured by usingonly economic measures but also must be supported by noneconomic indicators. Where to measure the development of a State based on non-economic indicators that use Human DevelopmentIndex (HDI). But in its activities, developing countries in both Asiaand Africa are often hampered by high corruption practices. Basedon this the authors are interested to see the effect of corruption onthe provincial capitals in Indonesia. This study aims to see the effectof corruption in Indonesia as reflected in the Corruption PerceptionIndex (IPK) on human development (HDI). The research designused is quantitative analysis. Sampling is done by using judgmentsampling technique, where the research sample is some provincialcapital in Indonesia with the data fulfill the criteria, so total data is54 from 18 provincial capitals and three years of observation (2006,2008, 2010). The analytical technique used to answer all objectivesin this research is to use sregresi data panel analysis. The resultsshow that simultaneously corruption adversely affects humandevelopment. This means that the higher the level of corruption, thelower the human development, where the effect of corruption onhuman development of 11.06%.]]>

<![CDATA[The existence of interest between principal and agent, hence arises aconflict of interest in management of Syria bank. In order to minimizethe conflict, the implementation of GCG can be one of the solutions.Implementation of GCG, which is done consistently and continuouslyin the end can improve the financial performance of sharia banks. Thetype of this study is the study of causality with quantitative approach.The number of samples in the study was 13 sharia banks withdocumentation as their data collection method. Data analysis techniquein this research is using a panel data regression method with the help ofsoftware Evies version 9. The result of this research indicates that GCGimplementation has significant influence to NPF, ROA, and BOPO.The implementation of GCG in this study proved to have no effect onROE and FDR.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a differencebetween the performance of sharia mutual fund shares with marketperformance by using the Sharpe Method, Treynor, TT Index andMM Index. This study is comparative, IE compares the return rate ofsharia mutual fund shares with ISSI index return as a benchmark.The samples taken there are 7 sharia mutual fund shares of the totalpopulation of 85 sharia mutual fund shares during the study period.The data used are NAV/investment units of each sharia mutual fundshares, SWBI, and ISSI return. The data are in the form of daily datafor 6 months, from October 1, 2015 to March 2016. The results of thisstudy indicate that the Shariah mutual fund performance measured bythe Sharpe method during the period October 2015 to March 2016 hasa positive performance. Shariah mutual fund performance measuredby the Treynor method during the period October 2015 to March 2016has 6 positive Treynor values and 1 negative Treynor value. Shariamutual fund performance measured by the TT index method duringthe period October 2015 to March 2016 has 6 positive TT index valuesand 1 negative TT index value. Sharia mutual fund performancemeasured by MM index method during period of October 2015 untilMarch 2016 has MM index positive value, but the return is smallerthan market performance return (ISSI).]]>

<![CDATA[The success of learning History of Islamic Culture (SKI) can beinfluenced by many factors one of which is the method of learning. Infact the actual learning of SKI is not difficult, but many students whohave less satisfactory learning outcomes in the lesson SKI. From thiscondition the authors try to use the Reading Rolling Text method(RRT) in the learning of SKI. The sample used in this study is theClass VIII Junior High School Students Al-Firdaus MertoyudanMagelang District, which amounted to 25 students. Data analysisusing descriptive analysis and parametric inferential statisticalanalysis with paired sample t test statistic. Test paired sample t test isa test conducted where the same sample but has two different data. Theresults of this study show that the use of RRT methods in SKI learningcan improve learning outcomes.]]>

<![CDATA[Turnover intention from members of the organization can be detrimental to the organization, including in the ranks of Gunungkidul Police Criminal Investigation. Such losses, such as when there are senior human resources in the field of Criminal Investigation who have the desire to move; it will be difficult to get a replacement, so maintaining the old HR is more important than recruiting new ones. Since maintaining human resources in the field of investigation is very important, research is needed on the causes of organizational members wanting to leave the organization or turnover intention. The population of this research is 148 from the Gunungkidul Police Criminal Investigation. The sampling technique is saturated sampling, which takes all of the total population. Data analysts use regression analysis with the help of SPSS 21. The results of the study prove that there is a significant negative influence between leadership variables and organizational commitment with turnover intention. So the better the leadership in Gunungkidul Police Criminal Investigation and the high organizational commitment can reduce turnover intention.]]>

<![CDATA[As a law enforcement agency in Indonesia, the police mustshow good performance. In order to maintain and improve theperformance of the police, the support of all personnel is indispensable,with the exception of the Policewomen. Policewomen performance willbe good if they have good psychological well-being, so researchingvariables that can affect psychological well-being is very important.Based on this, this study aims to examine the effect of fear of successcareer development on the psychological well-being of Policewomen inMapolda DIY This study uses a quantitative approach with the numberof research subjects amounting to 137 consisting of Policewomen inMapolda DIY. The analysis method used in this study is multiplelinear regression analysis. The results of the study found that theperception of career development and fear of success had a positive andsignificant influence on psychological well-being. In addition, thisstudy also found that the perception of career development has a greaterinfluence on psychological well-being compared to the influence givenby fear of success on psychological well-being.]]>
