Abstract

A country's economic well-being can be assessed through its economic development. Economic development in a specific region can be measured by its economic growth. In this study, economic growth is indicated by the influence of Regional Own-Source Revenue (PAD), capital expenditure, and the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK). This research aims to determine (1) the simultaneous and partial effects of PAD, capital expenditure, and TPAK on economic growth, and (2) the dominant variable influencing economic growth. The data used in this study consists of secondary time series data from 2018 to 2023 across nine regencies/cities in Bali Province. Data analysis was conducted using panel data regression with the assistance of the Eviews 12 software. The results show that PAD, capital expenditure, and TPAK collectively influence economic growth in the nine regencies/cities in Bali Province during 2018–2023. PAD and capital expenditure have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in these areas. Meanwhile, TPAK also has a positive but statistically insignificant effect on economic growth. PAD is identified as the dominant variable influencing economic growth in the nine regencies/cities in Bali Province during 2018–2023. This study implies that local governments need to strengthen strategies to increase PAD through revenue innovations, strategically manage capital expenditure to promote key sectors such as tourism and MSMEs, and enhance the quality and productivity of the workforce to support more inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

This study aims to analyse the effect of work-life balance implementation on employee productivity and retention in start-up companies. The background of this study is based on the high dynamics and work pressure in start-up environments, which often affect the work-life balance of employees and result in high turnover rates. The research method used is a literature review by examining various scientific sources, journals, and research reports related to work-life balance, productivity, and employee retention in start-up companies. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of work-life balance, such as flexible working hours and hybrid work systems, has a positive and significant effect on increasing employee productivity. In addition, work-life balance has also been proven to increase employee retention by reducing turnover intentions and increasing loyalty to the company. This study recommends that start-up companies continue to develop policies and programmes that support work-life balance in order to create a healthy, productive, and sustainable work environment.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the influence of financial ratios on stock price volatility in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The financial ratios analyzed include liquidity ratios (Current Ratio, Quick Ratio), profitability (Return on Assets, Return on Equity), and leverage (Debt to Equity Ratio). The research method used is a quantitative approach with panel regression analysis techniques on secondary data taken from annual financial statements and historical stock prices over a certain period. The research results indicate that liquidity and profitability ratios have a negative impact on stock price volatility, while the leverage ratio has a positive and significant effect. These findings indicate that the internal financial conditions of the company play a crucial role in shaping market risk perceptions and influencing stock price fluctuations. This research provides implications for investors, company management, and academics in understanding the role of financial indicators in the dynamics of the capital market.
