Abstract

The rapid development of information technology can meet a variety of human activities and needs, the use of computers can provide the effectiveness of a good life for humans, besides that with a computer someone is able to create a useful technological system. Today's internet technology has the privilege of finding information in other parts of the world without being hindered by distance, time and place. Based on the background stated above, with this the author tries to design a new student registration website, so that it can partially replace the role of the new student registration officer. The design of this web application will provide many conveniences in the process of registering new students, especially for students or parents who have a busy schedule so that registration of prospective students can be done online. This system provides an information that is registration activities for prospective new students, LIA profiles, verification and announcements of level placement at the Institute of Language and Professional Education (LBPP) LIA Pramuka Jakarta.

Abstract

Zakat is one of the pillars of Islam which is always mentioned parallel to prayer. The problems that exist in zakat institutions in Indonesia are low level of trust in muzaki in zakat payments through official institutions and tend to distribute zakat directly to mustahik. Zakat can attract sufficient attention from Muslim intellectuals, especially in the fields of research related to the development of zakat management. However, the growing zakat information system does not make it easier for muzaki to choose mustahik preferences, even though choice recommendations of mustahik is needed to make it easier for muzaki to choose mustahik preferences. The researcher was interested in applying the concept of recommendation in the Zakat Radar application by using the content based filtering method to produce a mustahik recommendation system with the term frequency inverse document frquency (tf-idf) technique.. This system is built using the Java programming language and MySQL as a database. The mustahik recommendation system has been successfully implemented in the Radar Zakat application, which produces 5 mustahik recommendations based on the highest weighting of the similarity of mustahik criteria chosen by the user. Similarity of mustahik criteria is based on the query of mustahik criteria chosen by the user, 5 queries of mustahik criteria are mustahik income, residence, facilities, number of dependents, and mustahik employment status.

Abstract

Nowadays, technology has a big impact for lifes. It also makes children like to use technology to watch videos, play games and socialize through the media. In addition to that technology, they are more familiar with foreign culture compared to their own culture. The habit itself is very related to daily activities using smart phones via the internet. Likewise, the introduction of culture in Java for desktop-based elementary school children is still very rare today. The making of this application is a solution to provide knowledge about diverse cultures in Java. With this application it is hoped that children will get to know their own country's culture more than foreign cultures. Thus, it can create a feeling of love for the nation itself. The desktop application that is served is an application that supports a culture consisting of various menus to facilitate users who open this application with those connected to the internet, using a system development method called waterfall which is system planning, system design, code conversion, system testing and good assistance. In this research, an application in desktop platform was successfully created and from the evaluation it is useful for children and students in learning Java culture.

Abstract

The library is an important source of knowledge for all academicians. One of them is the university library, the purpose of the university library is funding support from the university in providing education by providing sources of scientific information in the library. However, information sources (consisting of web sites) available in the library are currently incomplete. For this reason, a usability evaluation and design analysis of the website is required so that the library website development goals can be achieved. Requirement Analysis of this library website used the Bechmarking and Goal Oriented Requirement Engineering (GORE) methods of three library websites namely the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta library website, Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta UIN and UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim. Benchmarking method is used to get the basic requirements by questionnaire. The GORE method is obtained based on the formulation of system objectives. To get the system requirements with the GORE method consists of actor models, Strategic Dependency diagrams, and Strategic Rationale diagrams. The results of this website analysis are the achievement of all requirements obtained and the new system of the library website of the Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta

Abstract

Indonesia is a large bamboo producer. Many benefits can be taken from bamboo trees, among others, as an alternative material for environmentally friendly construction, handicraft, and even become a safe material for use. Based on the property of its mechanical strength, bamboo has high tensile strength and fiber content, including fiber length, inter-fiber adhesive, namely lignin and the higher diameter of bamboo fiber, causing bamboo stems to become stronger and stiffer so that bamboo quality is getting better. One objective is to use a texture analysis of statistical features extraction of digital image processing. Feature extraction is a process to get the characteristics of visual perception. Texture information can be used to distinguish the surface properties of objects in images that are related to coarse and fine. This research uses a second-order statistical calculation of Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrices (GLCM) by measuring contrast, energy, homogeneity, and correlation levels to determine roughness from bamboo image textures that have irregular patterns. The second method is to use similarity measurements with the K-NN method in which in this study K = 3 with testing images of 28 images obtained an accuracy of 0.8, precission of 0, 8 and f-measurement of 0.9.

Abstract

Universities need a quality evaluation process based on the standards of the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT) every year. Therefore, it is necessary for universities knowing the students to evaluate and to maintain the University's Education Efficiency Number (AEE). One of the standards that has been determined by BAN-PT is the quality of students that can be seen from the GPA, the accuracy of completing studies, thesis, path admission, and others. The purpose of this study is to provide information about the quality of students based on SNMPTN and SBMPTN admission with data mining techniques using RapidMiner software in the application of the C4.5 algorithm and using the research method of the Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRIPS-DM). The results of this study were students who has graduated of class I quality was 46% from the SBMPTN path admission, 28% of the SNMPTN path admission, and class II category was 11% from the SBMPTN path admission, and 15% from the SNMPTN path admission. The results of accuracy obtained in decision tree modeling got an accuracy value of 97.46% with an error value of 0.98% and the value of Area Under Curve (AUC) of 0.973 with an error value of 0.014 which is classified into a excellent classification.

Abstract

Law number 8 of 2016 states that disability is part of the Indonesian republic which has the same rights and obligations. Therefore the need to increase social welfare for persons with disabilities, one way to improve it is by providing information technology training. To support information technology training an appropriate training mapping is needed. In this study, a training mapping was carried out for persons with disabilities who were deaf where there was ranking at each information technology training based on the ability criteria. The ranking of information technology training is analyzed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and for the system, development using Rapid Application Development (RAD). This research discusses the hard of hearing deafness disability, in which information technology training is used like the following attributes of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Scratch Programming, Adobe illustration, e-marketing, internet browsing, and social media. The final results show the ranking of information technology training that is suitable for hearing deafness disability.

Abstract

The importance of maintaining data integrity and security is one of the challenges in the current digital era. One method that can be used to face this challenge is through cryptography. In cryptography there are several algorithms that can be used, one of which is the Caesar cipher algorithm. This algorithm has several disadvantages, including a limited number of characters of 26 characters. This can make the encryption results easily recognizable by other parties. This study aims to design a proposal for maintaining data security through cryptographic techniques, while addressing the problems inherent in the Caesar cipher algorithm. The combination of Caesar and Beaufort algorithm is done to overcome the existing problems. In addition, a character list of 94 characters was determined to be used in the process of encryption and decryption of text data. The result, through the integration of these two algorithms, the text cipher becomes more difficult to solve. There are two stages of the encryption process by using two different types of Keys for each stage in securing data

Abstract

The use of SMS-Gateway technology as an academic information system media in a school still has shortcomings in terms of the fees charged to schools. This makes the burden itself for a school that does not cooperate with the service provider of the SMS service. To overcome this, academic information systems based on mobile phones need to be developed. This study aims to build an academic information system based on the Android operating system on smartphones. Smartphone technology is the best solution now in making it easy to spread information. This study uses the Rapid Application Development method to build an Android-based academic information system called SisAkOne, by testing the software using the black box method. The results showed the use of RAD methods can be used to build information systems properly and in accordance with the functional requirements of the system.

Abstract

Today, the development of information technology is very fast. It is also followed by the growth of internet sites that are very fast, no exception the growth of sites contains pornographic. The Association of Indonesian Internet Service Providers (APJII), in 2018, reports as many as 55.9% of Indonesian internet users had experienced of appearance pornographic content suddenly. This study aims to detect pornographic sites based on images using the convolutional neural network method. To find out the level of accuracy in detection of pornographic sites, a training process with a dataset of 300 images is required. From the test results, an accuracy rate of 85% in the detection of pornographic sites is obtained.
