Abstract

GAPOKTAN (Gabungan Kelompok Tani) Purwajaya is an organization that plays an important role in the development of the agricultural sector in Indonesia. However, the dissemination of information about GAPOKTAN Purwajaya's activities and programs is still not optimal. This research aims to design an informative and attractive news profile web using Figma application and Design Sprint method. The Design Sprint method was chosen because of its ability to produce design solutions in a short time through five stages: Understand, Diverge, Converge, Prototype, and Test. with data collection through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The design process begins with analyzing the needs of GAPOKTAN Purwajaya, generating various design ideas, selecting the best idea, creating a web prototype, and testing the prototype. Evaluation was conducted using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ).

Abstract

Abstract

2D animation with the Rotoscope Technique is a form of artwork that can be used to convey social messages, such as about bullying. Bullying is aggressive behavior that is carried out repeatedly and deliberately to hurt or dominate others. Bullying can have a negative impact on both the victim and the perpetrator, such as lowering self-confidence, causing depression, or even suicide. Therefore, there needs to be efforts to prevent and overcome bullying in the school and community environment. The purpose of this study is to make a 2D animated short film that raises the theme of the causes of bullying using the Rotoscope Technique and the Cel Shading Technique. The author uses the Rotoscope Technique to give a realistic and dramatic impression to the characters and backgrounds. The Rotoscope technique is an animation technique that uses a computer to redraw frame by frame on top of an existing video recording or moving image. The Cel Shading technique is a coloring technique that uses the selection of colors with strong contrast. The production process uses the Clip Studio Paint application, Adobe Premiere Pro, CorelDraw and FL Studio, the result of this research is a 2D animated short film entitled "Causes", which can convey moral messages about the causes and impacts of bullying behavior.

Abstract

The use of efficient information systems in business ventures is an important factor to improve operational progress. This research aims to develop an Android mobile-based production data management application for UD. Rendy Jaya Keramba, a fish farming business in Tenggarong, East Kalimantan. Currently, UD. Rendy Jaya Keramba still uses manual methods in managing inefficient production data. Through a system development approach using the waterfall method, the designed application will replace the manual method by focusing on production data input, data search, and production report generation. The use of this application is expected to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of data management and accelerate the decision-making process for UD. Rendy Jaya Keramba. Abstract

This study aims to improve the quality of service provided by Cv. Linda Lestari. Cv. Linda Lestari offers rental services for various products such as chairs and tables. Cv. Linda Rental rents party equipment for weddings, school farewells and other events. In the implementation of ongoing work at Cv. Linda Lestari, errors often occur in checking the stock of equipment, the number of shipments does not match the number requested by consumers and reports still occur errors because they are still recording manually. By building a party equipment information system at Cv. Linda Lestari can make it easier for consumers to see information related to party equipment at Cv. Linda Lestari, there are no errors in checking the stock of equipment recorded in the data with the equipment available in the warehouse, the equipment sent matches that requested by consumers, there are no differences in recording the return of party equipment and in terms of recording damaged/lost equipment, there are no errors in recording payment transactions and reports due to loss/damage to files.

Abstract

Information technology is one of the best solutions for solving problems in today’s fast-paced technological era and can also facilitate various types of businesses, one of which is the ticket booking service for ships and travel transportation at CV. Tiga Putra Travel. In today’s era of rapid technological development, service providers must keep up with the fast, easy, and efficient pace of modern technology. This inspired the researcher to create a website-based application for booking transportation tickets, such as ship and travel tickets. The PHP Laravel framework was chosen to build this website because Laravel has numerous libraries that simplify the process of creating a web-based application. The waterfall method was used in the web development process due to its systematic approach, ensuring the production of a quality application. In the testing phase, black box testing and alpha testing were conducted using a questionnaire with 30 respondents. The Likert scale was used to assess the functionality of the web application to ensure it is suitable for use by the general public. After conducting the questionnaire using the Likert scale, the results showed an 88% rating (very good). Based on these test results, this research produced a web-based ticket booking application that improves the efficiency of the ticket booking process at CV. Tiga Putra Travel.

Abstract

Screw Conveyor is a mechanical system that has the functin of moving goods from one place to another place. Conveyor are widely used in industry for the transportation of goods in large quantities and continuously, one of wich is the screw conveyor. Screw conveyor are one of the most efficient and economical methods of moving bulk materials. Screw conveyor have been used generally to move industrial materials such as grains, fine coal, brondolan, and other materials. This tool consist of a knife that twists around an axis so that its shape resembles as a screw. This twisted blade is called a flight. Conveyor are made in lengths of 8-12 ft which can be combined to obtain a certain length. The diameter varies from 3-24 in. The speed of the screw conveyor in moving material will affect the capacity of the screw conveyor. From the evaluation results, the speed of the screw conveyor materials obtained was 0,163 m/s with a work capacity of the screw conveyor namely 17,36 tons/hour.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of feed wire speed on the tensile strength of low carbon steel welding results using the GMAW method and also to determine the shape of the welding seam on the tensile strength of the welding joint. In this study, the most suitable test results were obtained from the three test results that had been carried out, namely by using a wire speed of 90 cm/minute with a tensile test result of 0.66 Kgf/mm2. The best seam results are by using a U seam with a tensile strength of 0.71 Kgf/mm2. The benefits of the research can be to find out the appropriate wire speed in the process of welding low carbon steel using the GMAW method and to know the tensile strength of the welded seam shape.

Abstract

Emotional detection in human faces is an important area in image processing and emotion understanding. This research develops an emotion detection application using the Haar Cascade Classifier algorithm to detect faces and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with the Adam optimizer to analyze emotions. The application developed successfully detected seven types of basic emotions (anger, disgust, fear, happy, neutral, sad and surprised) in real-time with an overall accuracy of 90%. The combination of CNN and Adam optimizer shows good performance with increasing accuracy and consistent decreasing loss as the epoch increases, although there are indications of overfitting. The research results show that this system can be relied on to detect various facial expressions and provides an effective and accurate solution for emotional detection.

Abstract

The sheeter machine is classified as a milling machine using six rolls that the more advanced the roll the more advanced the rotating speed and serves to carry out the milling process and reduce the moisture content and formic acid solution to grind the rubber into the final product with the name RSS (ribbed smoked sheet). The events that occur from the grinding process of the rubber sheet on the sheeter machine is the thinning of the sheet due to the compressive process between the upper roll and the lower roll in order to get perfect results in accordance with the product standards of the factory, each roll has a different rotation with a gap distance set on the gears connected to the rotating roll shafts. From the results of the study obtained the conclusion of the magnitude of the roll rotation of the sheeter machine, namely the results obtained roll rotation of 45.46 rpm on roll 1, on the 2nd roll 50.34 rpm, roll 3 53.94 rpm roll 4 57.94 rpm roll 5 69.53 rpm and on the last roll of 72.43 rpm. While the discussion of the magnitude of the gap distance in getting a value of 21 mm on roll 1, 13 mm on roll 2, 6 mm on roll 3, 4 mm on roll 4, 3 mm on roll 5, 2 mm on roll 6 for each roller, the relationship between rotation and gap distance is very influential in the process of making sheet sheet RSS (ribbed smoked sheet) which if the rotation speed is too fast it can cause damage to the sheet and what if the gap distance is too large or too small equally cause damage to the sheet.
