Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Brand Ambassador, Brand Image, and Brand Trust on repurchase intention among consumers of Nabati Aespa edition in Surabaya. This study used a quantitative method with a descriptive and causal approach. Data were collected through a questionnaire administered to members of Mys Surabaya. Data were measured using a Likert scale, and the analysis process included validity, reliability, classical assumptions, F-test, and t-test. The results showed that simultaneously, brand ambassador, brand image, and brand trust had a significant influence on repurchase intention. Meanwhile, partially, brand ambassadors and brand image have a significant effect on repurchases, but brand trust does not. This finding indicates that brand ambassadors and brand image are more effective in encouraging repurchases than brand trust in this case. Companies can increase repurchases by strengthening the role of credible and inspiring brand ambassadors, building a positive brand image through consistent communication and engaging storytelling, and increasing brand trust through maintained product quality and satisfactory after sales service.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing purchase intention by examining the roles of attitude, perceived behavioral control (PBC), perceived hedonic value (PHV), perceived utilitarian value (PUV), and subjective norm (SN). The research employs the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method to test both the measurement model (outer model) and the structural model (inner model). Data were collected via survey and analyzed through convergent and discriminant validity assessments, reliability tests, collinearity diagnostics, and hypothesis testing using t-statistics and p-values. Results indicate that all constructs exhibit adequate validity and reliability, with outer loading values exceeding 0.70 and the highest AVE observed in the SN construct (0.724). The R-square for purchase intention is 0.953, indicating that the model robustly explains the variability in purchase intention. Hypotheses were supported for the influence of PUV on attitude (t=3.537; p=0.000), PHV on attitude (t=9.664; p=0.000), PHV on purchase intention (t=47.893; p=0.000), and attitude on purchase intention (t=6.366; p=0.000). However, the direct effects of PUV, SN, and PBC on purchase intention were not statistically significant. These findings underscore the pivotal role of hedonic value and consumer attitude in shaping purchase intention, offering practical implications for marketing strategies that emphasize emotional appeal and consumer perception.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of lifestyle, conformity, and the adoption of electronic payment technology on doom spending behavior among Generation Z. The research was conducted on active undergraduate students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Malang, who belong to Generation Z, with a total of 134 respondents. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 27. The results indicate that lifestyle, conformity, and the adoption of electronic payment technology each have a significant partial effect on doom spending behavior. These findings suggest that unplanned and excessive spending behavior (doom spending) among Generation Z is driven by a consumerist lifestyle, social pressure to conform, and the ease of transactions provided by electronic payment systems. This study highlights the importance of enhancing financial literacy and fostering critical awareness of social and technological influences in financial decision-making among the younger generation.

Abstract

This study investigates the analysis of the effect of the quality of financial statements on investment decisions among manufacturing firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2020-2022. Grounded in agency theory, the research addresses the persistent issue of investment inefficiency and the mixed empirical evidence surrounding financial reporting. Using a quantitative approach and purposive sampling, data were gathered from 114 firm-year observations and analyzed through multiple linear regression. The empirical results demonstrate that profitability exerts a positive and statistically significant effect on investment decisions, highlighting the critical role of operational efficiency in resource allocation. However, the quality of financial statements does not show a statistically significant effect on investment decisions within the observed sample, indicating that financial disclosure quality alone may not be the primary driver of investment decisions in this context. These findings offer practical implications for corporate managers, investors, and policymakers, suggesting that while transparency is essential, operational profitability remains a more decisive factor in effective investment outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of employer attractiveness, work–life balance, and organizational reputation on job satisfaction among healthcare workers, with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. This study employs a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The population in this study consists of all healthcare workers employed at Hospital X, including doctors, nurses, midwives, pharmacists, and other medical support staff. The sampling technique used in this study is total sampling. The total sample comprises 100 healthcare workers at Hospital X. The data analysis technique utilized is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using Partial Least Squares (PLS). Based on the results of the study, employer attractiveness, work–life balance, and organizational reputation have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment and job satisfaction among healthcare workers, while organizational commitment is able to mediate the influence of employer attractiveness, work–life balance, and organizational reputation on job satisfaction among healthcare workers. Future research is recommended to broaden the scope by incorporating additional variables such as leadership style, organizational culture, employee engagement, and psychological empowerment, as well as moderating factors like work motivation or emotional intelligence. Methodologically, future studies may adopt mixed-methods or longitudinal designs to gain deeper insights into healthcare workers’ perceptions over time. Expanding the research to include various hospitals and healthcare facilities is also suggested to enhance the generalizability and practical relevance of findings for human resource management in the healthcare sector.

Abstract

The development of e-commerce in Indonesia has shown significant growth, particularly with the increasing use of mobile applications for transactions. Shopee, as one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Indonesia, has experienced a notable increase in market share across various demographic groups. However, market dominance does not automatically guarantee customer loyalty. This study aims to analyze the influence of electronic service quality (e-service quality) and electronic trust (e-trust) on electronic customer loyalty (e-customer loyalty) on Shopee. The method employed is a literature review with a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach, through the collection and synthesis of relevant previous studies. The analysis results indicate that e-service quality plays a crucial role in shaping positive customer perceptions through fast, accurate, and responsive services, while e-trust enhances customer confidence in the platform’s security, reliability, and transparency. Both factors significantly affect customer loyalty, either directly or through the mediation of customer satisfaction (e-satisfaction). This study contributes to the development of e-commerce strategies, particularly in enhancing digital experiences, building customer trust, and maintaining Shopee’s customer loyalty sustainably.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has created a new economic ecosystem through the integration of social media and marketing activities, particularly the TikTok Affiliate program. This program allows affiliates to earn performance-based income by influencing consumer purchasing decisions through creative and interactive content. This study aims to analyze TikTok affiliate content strategies in increasing income through consumer trust and behavior. The research employed a qualitative method with a literature review approach by analyzing various scientific sources related to affiliate marketing, consumer behavior, and social media algorithms. The results show that creative, relevant, and consistent content strategies significantly influence consumer trust and loyalty, which in turn increase affiliate income. Understanding the TikTok algorithm also plays an important role in determining the reach and effectiveness of promotional content. However, challenges such as limited promotional regulations, intense competition, and inequality between large and small affiliates remain obstacles. Overall, the TikTok Affiliate program has a positive impact on digital economic growth and the empowerment of Indonesia’s creative economy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of taste, packaging, and price perception on repurchase intention with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable among Mixue consumers in East Surabaya. The research method used is quantitative with purposive sampling technique and involved 100 respondents who have made purchases more than three times. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach with the Partial Least Square (PLS) method through SmartPLS 3.9.9 software. The results showed that taste and price perception have a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention, while packaging has a positive but insignificant effect. Taste and price perception are also proven to have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, while packaging again shows a positive but insignificant effect. In addition, customer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention. The mediating role of customer satisfaction is proven to be significant in the relationship between taste and price perception on repurchase intention, but not significant in the relationship between packaging and repurchase intention. These findings indicate that product taste and perceived price to quality play a dominant role in increasing customer satisfaction and driving repeat purchase intentions among Mixue consumers.
