Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of transformational leadership and organizational culture on employee performance at PT Wijaya Gyokai Indonesia. A quantitative research design with a survey approach was employed. The sample comprised 80 respondents selected using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that transformational leadership does not have a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance, whereas organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, transformational leadership and organizational culture significantly influence employee performance. The coefficient of determination shows that the two independent variables explain 43.8% of the variance in employee performance. These findings suggest that strengthening organizational culture plays a crucial role in enhancing employee performance, particularly in manufacturing companies.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has transformed patterns of social interaction and child-rearing practices in modern families. This situation calls for a reinterpretation of the concept of hadhanah in Islamic family law, which has traditionally focused more on the physical protection and basic education of children. This study aims to analyze the concept of hadhanah from the perspective of Islamic family law, assess its relevance to the principles of maqashid syariah, and formulate an adaptive parenting approach to address the challenges of child protection in the digital space. The study employs a qualitative method with a legal-normative approach through an examination of classical fiqh literature, the Compilation of Islamic Law, and national regulations such as the Child Protection Act, the ITE Law, and Government Regulation No. 17 of 2025 on Child Protection in the Digital Space. The findings indicate that the concept of hadhanah needs to be expanded to include aspects of digital literacy and competence as part of caregiver eligibility. The integration of fiqh values, maqashid syariah, and national regulations is essential to realizing a more adaptive, safe, and relevant parenting model for children in the digital age.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Digital Influencer Attractiveness and Brand Congruence on Brand Attitude, Purchase, and Repurchase Intention by adopting the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) framework. Using a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design, data were collected from 55 social media users in Cirebon selected through accidental sampling technique and processed using Path Analysis. The results showed that Attractiveness and Brand Congruence have a positive and significant effect on Brand Attitude. In addition, Attractiveness and Brand Attitude proved to have a significant effect on Purchase, which then became the strongest driving factor for Repurchase Intention. These findings also indicate the important mediating role of Brand Attitude and Purchase, considering that the direct paths from Brand Congruence to Purchase and Attractiveness to Repurchase Intention were found to be insignificant. Overall, this study concludes that an influencer marketing strategy that optimizes visual attractiveness and brand congruence is highly effective in shaping positive consumer attitudes, solidifying purchases, and driving repurchase intentions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work environment, motivation, and career development on employee job satisfaction at Bali Mandara Eye Hospital, Denpasar, Bali. A quantitative approach was employed using multiple linear regression analysis. The population consisted of 279 employees, with a sample of 164 respondents selected through Slovin's formula at a 5% error margin. Data were collected via structured questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using SPSS. The validity test showed all items had r-values above 0.1533 (r-table), and Cronbach's Alpha values exceeded 0.60, indicating reliable instruments. The results of the classical assumption tests confirmed that the data met the requirements of normality, multicollinearity, and homoscedasticity. The F-test showed a simultaneous significant effect (F = 83.514, p < 0.05), while individual t-tests revealed that work environment (t = 10.411, p < 0.001), motivation (t = 7.877, p < 0.001), and career development (t = 8.009, p < 0.001) each positively and significantly affected job satisfaction. The Adjusted R-Square of 0.603 indicates that 60.3% of job satisfaction variance is explained by the three variables. Work environment emerged as the most dominant predictor. These findings support Self-Determination Theory, Job Demands-Resources Theory, and Growth Mindset Theory, confirming the importance of an integrated approach in managing human resources in hospital settings. Abstract

The rapid development of digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics, and data-based audit systems has significantly transformed auditing practices. These changes require auditors to possess digital readiness, digital intelligence, and the ability to adapt to technological developments. This study aims to analyze the influence of readiness to face digital audits, digital intelligence, and technology adaptability on accounting students’ interest in pursuing the auditor profession in the future. This research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 104 accounting students from several universities in Lamongan Regency using purposive sampling techniques. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results show that readiness to face digital audits has a positive and significant effect on students’ interest in becoming future auditors. Digital intelligence also has a positive and significant influence on the interest in the auditor profession. In addition, technology adaptability significantly and positively affects students’ interest in pursuing auditing careers. Simultaneously, these three variables explain 65.6% of the variance in the interest in the auditor profession. These findings indicate that digital readiness, technological understanding, and the ability to adapt to technological developments in auditing are important factors that encourage accounting students to choose the auditor profession in the era of digital transformation. This study contributes to the development of auditor professional readiness models and supports the strengthening of technology-based auditing curricula in higher education.

Abstract

This study, entitled Strategy for Developing Processed Fishery and Marine Products in Bontang City through the Regional Research and Innovation (RID) Ecosystem Approach, analyzes strategies for strengthening marine-based regional economic potential in an extractive-industry-dependent region. The research aims to identify strategic directions for developing processed fishery and marine products as a leading sector to support economic diversification in Bontang City. The study employs a mixed qualitative–quantitative approach using the Regional Research and Innovation ecosystem framework, which examines six elements: policy and infrastructure, institutional capacity, partnerships, innovation culture, regional integration, and global alignment. Data were collected through Focus Group Discussions with regional stakeholders and analyzed using Standard Gap Analysis with a Likert scale and SWOT analysis. The results reveal substantial gaps between current and expected ecosystem conditions. Based on these findings, nine strategic initiatives are proposed to strengthen institutional capacity, innovation support, and collaborative partnerships for sustainable fisheries-based regional economic development.

Abstract

The low level of sharia banking inclusion among Generation Z is an important issue even though the majority of Indonesia's population is Muslim. This study aims to analyze the effect of sharia financial literacy and sharia bank reputation on the intention to use sharia banks with religiosity as a mediating variable among Generation Z in Yogyakarta. The study uses a quantitative approach with purposive sampling and is analyzed using SEM-PLS. The results show that Islamic financial literacy, Islamic bank reputation, and religiosity have a positive and significant effect on the intention to use Islamic banks. Religiosity partially mediates the effect of literacy and reputation on intention. The limitations of this study lie in its geographical scope and the use of self-reported data. These findings emphasize the importance of improving literacy and strengthening reputation based on sharia compliance to increase the interest of Generation Z.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of brand identity and cultural promotion on consumer loyalty. The research uses a quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to analyze the relationships between variables. The results show that brand identity has a significant positive effect on consumer loyalty. Cultural promotion also contributes positively to consumer loyalty, although its effect is smaller than brand identity. These findings indicate that strengthening brand identity and integrating cultural promotion strategies can improve consumer loyalty. Therefore, companies should focus on developing strong brand identities while incorporating cultural elements in their promotional activities to enhance customer relationships and loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance mediated by work motivation at Jatayu Bakery Krian Sidoarjo. Job satisfaction is one of the key factors that determine the level of motivation and employee performance within an organization. In the context of the food and beverage industry, which is characterized by fast-paced work and high accuracy demands such as at Jatayu Bakery, the level of employee satisfaction becomes a major determinant of productivity and work quality. The population in this study consists of all employees of Jatayu Bakery Krian Sidoarjo, totaling 60 people. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling (census) since the population size is relatively small and all members were included as respondents. The results of the study show that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, meaning that the higher the employee’s satisfaction, the greater their motivation to work. In addition, work motivation is proven to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, indicating that motivation is an important factor in improving productivity. Furthermore, job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, both directly and indirectly through the mediation of work motivation. These findings indicate that work motivation acts as a partial mediating variable in the relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance at Jatayu Bakery Krian Sidoarjo. Therefore, the management of Jatayu Bakery is expected to continuously enhance job satisfaction through the provision of incentives, a comfortable working environment, and opportunities for self-development so that both motivation and employee performance can continue to improve sustainably.
