Abstract

This dissertation discusses the authority of state institutions in forming laws based on the Constitution of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste (RDTL). With regard to the division of powers of state institutions in the 2002 RDTL Constitution, there are many interpretations, because the phrase "must be based on the principle of separation of powers, and "interdependence" which leads to separation and division of powers. Authority The legal materials used in the research and writing of this dissertation consist of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials. The results of this research can be summarized as follows: Philosophical considerations on the division of authority of state institutions in the Constitution of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste The basis for consideration by the 2002 Constituent Assembly which permitted the Government to form laws. The implementation of the proposed draft licensing law depends on: a) The term of office of the legislature. b) Term of office of the Government. c) the draft law on legislative permits proposed.

Abstract

Lolongguba is the second largest sago producing sub-district in Buru Regency after Teluk Kayeli Sub-district, which has a sago area with a production of 16 tons of sago flour per month. Lolongguba District, which is the center for processing and producing sago, is Kubalahin Village, the majority of whose population are Muslim converts who have converted to Islam since 2009 and earn their living as gardeners and sago farmers. The sago flour processing entrepreneurial group is an empowerment group formed by community groups and legalized by the Kubalahin Village government. The partner's problem is the lack of knowledge about innovations in processing sago flour into a consumer product with various flavors and not having adequate equipment and equipment to support the implementation of activities, as well as processing techniques, entrepreneurship methods and marketing systems that can increase economic value. The aim of community service activities is to introduce the community to innovation skills in entrepreneurship which are oriented towards development, empowerment and improving the economy, through the use of Mualaf Zakat towards this to achieve output targets with the implementation target of empowering business groups, developing business and entrepreneurship skills besides that. to increase economic value through income from sales of processed Sago Flour products. From this Penakuk Roti product innovation, attractive labels will be made on the product packaging and promotions will be carried out by placing banner advertisements in front of partners' houses and also business groups.

Abstract

From 2018 through 2023, this study examines how PT Adaro Indonesia's CSR programs affected villages in their major operations area, concentrating on HDI metrics like life expectancy, education, and living standards in South and Central Kalimantan. In 65 villages, 78% scored a high Human Development Index (HDI) and 22% a medium HDI. In comparison, 38% of villages had an HDI fall, while 62% saw an increase. In 98% of communities, CSR programs in education, healthcare, social and cultural advancement, environmental sustainability, and economic progress raised the consumption index (CI). These studies show that PT Adaro Indonesia's CSR activities improve community well-being, including healthcare, education, economic empowerment, and community-based projects, benefiting local populations. This research is crucial for mining operation planning.

Abstract

 This paper describes poverty status and condition in East OKU regency, South Sumatera. Living in poverty will make it difficult for a person to acquire quality education and often even prevent a person from accessing education. This leads to low productivity, which leads to poverty. This reciprocal relationship is often referred to as the vicious cycle of poverty or the poverty cycle. In fact, according to scholars, education is considered as one of the strategies that can overcome the problem of poverty. This paper also explores the constraints faced by the students to continue their education and provide education strategies to reduce poverty.

Abstract

Science education enables learner to acquire certain skills and own the proper kind of values and attitudes vital for nonviolent coexistence and resolution of some security problems in the society. This paper discuss how science education can serve as a tool for promoting National security, it also highlight some of the factors that causes insecurity and how science education can help resolve some of the challenges of national security in Nigeria. The paper concludes that for sustainable and long lasting security, it is imperative to employ scientific approach such as developing new security paradigm and protocols in fighting violent conflicts and tackle insecurity in the country. The paper also point out the need to provide moral leadership that shun evil, corruption, vices, inequity, injustice and wickedness as this will compel the people to model the character of their leaders and vice versa. Democratic system in place must also begin to deliver the needed social goods so as to improve the standard of living of Nigerians and deliver many citizens from the state of abject poverty to which they have been subjected for a long while.

Abstract

This study entitled ‘Multilingual Education: opportunities and challenges’ which is qualitative in nature. The aim of this study is to explore teacher’s perspective on opportunities and challenges of multilingual education at primary level students. in Nepal. To conduct my study, I have used primary as well as secondary sources of data collection. For its primary sources of data, I have conducted semi-structured interview with a teacher of a public school at basic level to find out their perception towards multilingual education. For secondary sources of data, I have reviewed different policies, research papers and constitution of Nepal etc. The findings of this study included; the students have better understanding over subject matter and they have good proficiency in language. It was also found that there were some challenges that all the teachers are not multilingual, and there is problem in classroom management. At last, we understood, that multilingual education system is good for quality education but the occurred challenges should be minimized by all the stakeholders.

Abstract

Article with the title Internalization of Multicultural Values in Islamic boarding school religious institutions in Semarang Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. The formulation of the problem in this study article uses a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach, the location of this research was carried out at a religious institution Islamic boarding school in Semarang regency. Data sources were obtained from primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques use interviews, and observations, while the data analysis techniques used are data reduction and data presentation. For checking the validity of the data used triangulation techniques. The results showed that the process of internalizing multicultural values in religious institutions of Islamic boarding schools in Semarang Regency uses multicultural knowing and multicultural feeling. The implementation of multicultural values has a positive impact on the attitude of students in Semarang district, this positive attitude is implemented in the interaction of daily activities such as equality, justice, tolerance, respect, responsibility, and accepting differences.

Abstract

This type of research is qualitative with an exploratory study approach to get an overview of the factors that cause people not to have SPALs so that efforts can be made to overcome them, in the form of education and making environmentally friendly SPALs. Based on demographic data regarding the factors causing the lack of ownership of waste water disposal channels (SPAL) and efforts to approach environmental health aspects to increase SPAL ownership in the Tigapanah sub-district community in 2023, namely the most dominant age group is 41-60 years old, 175 people (49%) and the most aged 10-20 years as many as 5 people (1.4%), the most dominant occupation is farmers as many as 247 people (69.2), the most dominant education is middle school - high school as many as 232 people (65%), at least D1 education there were 31 people (8.7%), the most addresses were in Seberaya village as many as 79 (22.1%), and the fewest addresses were in Aji Julu village as many as 6 people (1.7%). The number of household residents who predominantly live in 1 house with 4 people or more is 186 people (52.1%) while 1 -3 people are 171 people (47.9).

Abstract

The Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, as a Democratic State of Law, as set out in the RDTL Constitution, article 1 (1) states that the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, the rule of law, the Democratic, the sovereign, the unitary, the self-governing and the self-governing of the will of the people and in respect for the dignity of each person. This is the fundamental principle of citizens under the concept of the rule of law itself, therefore, the state of Timor-Leste has a full obligation to protect the human rights of its citizens, including children, in accordance with the objectives set out in Article 6 (1) (b) of the RDTL Constitution, to guarantee and promote the fundamental rights and freedoms of its citizens, and respect the principle of the state in relation to democratic rights. In view of the reality of the above, the writer has created three aspects that are essential in this research, namely; The first legal aspect; the writer sees and analyser in more detail the legal system in Timor-Leste, which is mostly an alternative for the state to adapt and exist from the legal framework in Timor-Leste. Second, Sociology; the writer focuses on social problems that always involve children in any activity, such as political activities, juvinil conflicts, education and workers, taking into account these situations, the writer is also concerned about the current situation in Timor-Leste. Third Aspect Theory, the writer focused on the policy of law in the legal system of Timor-Leste .

Abstract

Tuberculosis or TB is a disease caused by the acid-fast bacillus Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Transmission of the disease through inhalation of air droplets infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria. The aim of this research is to determine the description of public knowledge about TB disease in terms of concepts, facts and procedures. The research method used was descriptive research with a cross-sectional design to see a picture of public knowledge about TB disease. The research population was people from 3 villages, namely Tlogosari Kulon, Tlogosari Wetan and Bangetayu Wetan. The sample size was 176 people chosen randomly. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and interviews with respondents. The research results obtained showed that the majority of respondents' knowledge was in the high category, namely 160 frequency or 90.9%. Concept knowledge shows a high category, namely 162 frequencies or 92%. Knowledge Facts shows a high category, namely 152 frequencies or 86.4%. Procedural knowledge shows a high category, namely 127 frequencies or 72.2%. The conclusion shows that most of the public's knowledge is in the high category.
