Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar fase B melalui integrasi Project Based Learning (PJBL), literasi, dan nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menganalisis 14 laporan observasi yang berasal dari sembilan sekolah dasar negeri dan swasta di Kabupaten Bangkalan dan sekitarnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian meliputi guru dan siswa kelas III dan IV. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara singkat, dokumentasi kegiatan, serta analisis laporan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variasi strategi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, dengan dominasi model PJBL dan inquiry, diikuti oleh metode problem solving, ceramah, diskusi, dan diferensiasi pembelajaran. Praktik literasi yang ditemukan meliputi pembiasaan membaca 15 menit, pengelolaan pojok baca dan perpustakaan mini, proyek menulis narasi maupun surat, serta penerapan literasi digital pada sekolah dengan fasilitas yang memadai. Tantangan utama yang teridentifikasi meliputi rendahnya minat baca siswa, keterbatasan sarana pembelajaran (seperti proyektor dan koleksi buku), variasi kemampuan guru dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka, serta motivasi belajar siswa yang belum konsisten. Integrasi nilai-nilai P5, seperti gotong royong, tanggung jawab, kejujuran, dan bernalar kritis, terlihat terinternalisasi melalui proyek pembelajaran di beberapa sekolah. Kesimpulannya, integrasi PJBL, literasi, dan P5 berpotensi menjadi strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa sekaligus membentuk karakter siswa. Keberhasilan implementasinya memerlukan dukungan sarana yang memadai, peningkatan kompetensi guru, dan penguatan program literasi yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Tradisi Seblang Olehsari merupakan salah satu bentuk ekspresi budaya masyarakat Osing di Banyuwangi yang kaya akan simbol dan nilai spiritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap makna leksikal dan simbolik dari kostum penari SeblangOlehsari dengan menggunakan pendekatan antropolinguistik. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi visual, dan studi pustaka, kemudian dianalisis dengan teori makna leksikal (Kridalaksana), makna simbolik (Clifford Geertz), serta pendekatan antropolinguistik (Duranti). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna leksikal merujuk pada fungsi harfiah elemen kostum, seperti kebaya sebagai penutup tubuh dan omprog sebagai hiasan kepala. Sementara itu, makna simbolik mencerminkan nilai kesucian, spiritualitas, dan perlindungan dari kekuatan tak kasat mata. Kostum seperti jarik batik, selendang, dan kalung manik-manik tidak hanya berfungsi secara estetis, tetapi juga menjadi representasi identitas kultural masyarakat Osing dalam konteks ritus sakral. Abstract

This article aims to analyze the song's lyrics using the critical discourse approach developed by Norman Fairclough. This analysis focuses on three main dimensions: text dimensions, discursive practices, and social practices. In the text dimension, the lyrics of this song use strong and emotional diction, such as "liquor" and "scratching the glass on my arm", which describe a form of destructive escape from trauma. In the dimension of discursive practice, this song aims to build social awareness and connect the subject's personal experiences with the audience, creating space for empathy towards those who experience similar problems. Socially, these lyrics also reflect the inequality in a social system that ignores the need for emotional support, so that individuals feel forced to seek self-destructive escape.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and examine the effectiveness of an integrated Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and e-learning model in enhancing students’ literary analysis skills in the Literary Theory and Criticism course. The study is grounded in the identified gap between students’ conceptual understanding of literary theory and their ability to apply it critically in textual analysis. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) design with a mixed-method approach, the research was conducted in the English Literature Study Program at Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo. The development process followed the ADDIE framework, encompassing the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Nine fourth-semester students participated in a limited trial using a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected through validation sheets, classroom observations, reflective journals, and literary analysis essay tests. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normalized gain (N-Gain), and paired-sample t-tests, while qualitative data were examined through thematic analysis. The findings indicate that the developed model meets three essential criteria of educational product quality: validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Expert validation results demonstrate high levels of content and construct validity. The implementation of the model revealed strong student engagement and positive responses toward digitally supported collaborative learning. Statistical analysis shows a significant improvement between pretest and posttest scores, with high N-Gain categories across all indicators. The integration of PBL and e-learning fosters student-centered learning, critical thinking, collaborative inquiry, and the strengthening of digital literacy skills.

Abstract

This study explores the politeness methods described by Brown and Levinson (1987) in dealing with emotional conflict in the short story "Persimpangan" by Raditya Dika (2023). The main objective of this study is to analyze face-threatening acts (FTAs), positive face (the desire to empathize), negative face (freedom without interference), and various FTA strategies (direct, positive politeness, negative politeness, indirect) that emerge in the interaction between Indah and Ardi. The findings of this study reveal a sociolinguistic irony while methods of maintaining social face may be successful, they lead to the loss of the "face of happiness" over a longer period of time (Indah experiences severe trauma, while Ardi experiences freedom but is trapped in a state of sorrowful regret).

Abstract

Metaphors are essential in shaping meaning in poetry, particularly regarding identity, culture, and philosophy. This study analyzes metaphorical expressions in Mardi Luhung’s poetry through Michael Halley’s metaphorical space theory and semiotic-hermeneutic analysis. It reveals that Luhung employs human, nature-based, and mythological metaphors, each with distinct functions: human metaphors reflect identity struggles, natural metaphors highlight environmental consciousness, and mythological metaphors offer insights into cultural heritage. The research underscores the integration of ethos, logos, and pathos in his work and contributes to understanding contemporary Indonesian poetry's socio-political and philosophical dimensions, suggesting future cross-cultural comparisons in Southeast Asian poetry.
