Abstract

The selection process for teacher candidates is a critical step in ensuring the quality of quality education for students. In addition to assessing academic qualifications such as educational background and work experience, selection should also consider aspects such as communication skills, interpersonal skills, ability to manage classes, and dedication to the education profession. The main problem in the selection of teacher candidates is the difficulty in assessing qualitative aspects such as teaching skills, interpersonal communication, and leadership. The purpose of the research on the application of the combination of SWARA and MAUT methods in the selection of teacher candidate admissions is to develop a more effective and comprehensive approach in the selection process for teacher candidate admission. By combining the SWARA and MAUT methods, this study is to improve the objectivity and accuracy of assessment of teacher candidates based on established criteria. In addition, this study is also to understand the implications of the combination of these two methods on the final decision in the selection of teacher candidates, as well as to provide a strong theoretical foundation to improve the HR selection process in the field of education. The ranking results showed that the first highest score of 0.7043 was obtained by GY candidates and was entitled to 1st place, the second highest score of 0.5804 was obtained by AJ candidates and was entitled to 2nd place, and the third highest score of 0.5365 was obtained by MS candidates and was entitled to 3rd place in the selection of teacher candidate admissions. The results of ranking using a combination of SWARA and MAUT methods are recommendations for schools in the selection of teacher candidates.

Abstract

The head of the department is a figure who plays an important role in carrying out the functions and operations of the department in an organization or institution. Its main tasks include human resource management, development of work programs, supervision of policy implementation, and solving internal problems that arise. One of the main problems in determining the head of the outstanding department is the difficulty in evaluating the leadership qualities and managerial abilities of prospective candidates. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of the SMART method in evaluating the performance of department heads, identifying factors that contribute to the success of department heads, as well as determining relevant and weighty criteria for assessing their achievements. The SMART method provides a systematic and measurable framework to facilitate informed and objective decision making in the performance appraisal of department heads. The ranking of determining outstanding department heads is based on the results of the performance evaluation of department heads using the SMART method. The department head with the highest utility value will get the top rank as the outstanding department head. The ranking results show that the head of the department excels based on the application of the SMART method, namely the Head of the Customer Service Department gets rank 1, followed by rank 2 Head of Warehouse Department, and rank 3 Head of Human Resources Department.

Abstract

Village Information System (SID) is a system designed to facilitate the management of information related to the activities and needs of the community in a village. This system covers various aspects, ranging from village administration, population data, public services, to infrastructure development. The problem of the absence of a village information system includes several aspects that can affect the progress and welfare of people in rural areas. The research objective of web-based village information system modeling using web engineering methods is to develop an information system that can provide support in information management at the village level using web technology. This system is expected to provide easy access for villagers to obtain information related to village administration, public services, and various socio-economic activities that occur in the village. The results of system testing showed a result of 92.4% showing a high success rate in carrying out the functionality and performance of the village information system. The number reflects the level of accuracy and efficiency of the system in meeting user needs and carrying out the desired tasks, this shows that the system has successfully passed the testing stage well and is ready to be implemented more widely.

Abstract

Student Field Work Practice (PKL) is an educational program that provides students with opportunities to gain work experience in an industrial or corporate environment. Through PKL, students can apply the knowledge they have learned in school in a real-world context, as well as gain an understanding of the work process and demands of a particular profession. The problem in this study is the difficulty in assessing the quality and potential of students holistically. Student performance evaluations are often based solely on academic achievement or previous work experience, which may not fully reflect the student's abilities and personality in the actual work environment. The purpose of this study is to implement the A New Additive Ratio Assessment method in the development of a decision support system to select the best PKL students. Using the A New Additive Ratio Assessment method, this study aims to identify and obtain optimal ratings from student candidates based on a number of predetermined criteria. Through the application of the A New Additive Ratio Assessment method provides an effective tool for decision makers, in selecting PKL students who best suit the needs and requirements set. The recommendation results show the rank of 1 best PKL student with an optimization function value of 0.9695, namely IS Students. These results can be a recommendation for companies in determining the Best PKL Students by applying the A New Additive Ratio Assessment method.

Abstract

Berkah Unggas Farm Jati Agung is a form of individual business engaged in the business of buying and selling boiler chickens. Based on interviews with the owner of Berkah Unggas Farm that the process of processing chicken inventory data is processing and recording that still uses manual methods (recording using a ledger) so that data inaccuracies, there is a high risk of human error, such as data writing errors, such as incorrect stock or errors in recording transactions. Data inaccuracies can lead to incorrect decisions and disrupt the operational efficiency of boiler chicken entry and exit. Based on these problems, a mobile web-based boiler chicken management system was created. The system, designed and built using the waterfall system development method, and the system was tested using ISO 25010. The system that has been built can help the process of processing chicken inventory data that produces more accurate data, minimizing the risk of human error, especially in data processing, such as data writing errors, such as incorrect stock or errors in recording transactions, facilitating boiler chicken inventory management faster than the previous system. The results of system feasibility testing using ISO 25010 get results of 97%. On a likert scale that the feasibility of the information system that has been made has a very good success, so that the system is feasible to be implemented and implemented at Berkah Unggas Farm Jati Agung.
