Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide training to housewives in Gambir Baru Village, Kisaran Kota District, in processing coconut dregs into crackers and ginger candy. The methods applied in this activity include training in making crackers and ginger candy from coconut dregs, interviews with the community, and observations of environmental conditions and participants' readiness to participate in the training. The implementation of the activity includes several stages, namely location surveys, training implementation, and evaluation. The results of the training showed that participants experienced increased skills in processing coconut dregs into food products. In addition, this activity also opens up opportunities for the community to develop small businesses based on local raw materials. The evaluation carried out through product assessments and questionnaires showed that most participants understood the techniques for making crackers and ginger candy, although further assistance was still needed in terms of marketing and packaging so that the products were competitive in the market. With this training, it is hoped that the community can make optimal use of coconut dregs waste, reduce household waste, and create sustainable business opportunities. Advanced training on digital marketing and business management is recommended so that coconut pulp-based products can develop more widely and provide a greater economic impact for the local community

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to enhance the capacity of organizations in submitting effective funding proposals, strengthen their competitiveness in a tight competition, and improve the quality of the programs implemented. Many cultural organizations, especially those on a small scale, often lack sufficient experience or knowledge in crafting attractive and persuasive proposals. Through mentoring, Sanggar Ngudi Roso can learn to prepare realistic and transparent budgets, as well as understand how to link cultural programs with social responsibility values, build networks and collaborations, create opportunities, and formulate effective monitoring and evaluation strategies. With ongoing support, cultural organizations can continue to improve their ability to manage programs and submit proposals in the future, thereby contributing to the preservation and development of local culture.

Abstract

The community service activity entitled "Socialization of Financial Literacy among Students of SMK Negeri 1 Medan" aims to increase students' and teachers' understanding of personal financial management and the application of simple accounting. The program involves a lecture, discussion and workshop-based approach, designed to build financial literacy and entrepreneurship skills. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of financial management concepts, which was reflected in the results of the pre-test and post-test evaluations. Some students also start to apply simple bookkeeping in their small businesses. In addition, teachers receive training to integrate financial literacy in learning. Despite challenges such as limited facilities, this program has succeeded in building an important foundation for the sustainability of financial literacy education at SMK Negeri 1 Medan.

Abstract

The aim of carrying out this service is the downstreaming of the research plan carried out to provide understanding to SMEs in accounting and investing as well as creating and developing understanding so that they have an awareness of investing from an early age. Understanding financial planning will have a big impact on business development and in the future. Method used starting from identifying problems, designing activity programs, socializing tax planning in managing business finances properly and correctly, activities in this Community Partnership Program are carried out in an integrated manner. offline. The learning method and approach applied in achieving basic competency in this activity is a participatory method, where the material delivery pattern is based on the golden rule. Village officials responded enthusiastically to this Community Partnership Program, as evidenced by the large number of village officials and communities participating and discussing. This Community Partnership Program has succeeded in increasing the understanding and capabilities of village officials in Kota Pari Village.

Abstract

Teachers at SD Negeri 064020 Medan have the problem of a lack of knowledge about implementing the independent curriculum, especially for the Pancasila student profile. Alternative solutions to the problems faced by teachers at SD Negeri 064020 Medan so that they can develop and increase their knowledge and can implement an independent curriculum at the school. By socializing it to teachers at SD Negeri 064020 Medan. The target outcomes that will result from the solution are: (1). Producing teachers who are able to increase knowledge and are able to implement an independent curriculum based on the Pancasila student profile, (2). The results of this program can later be published in national journals. After the socialization has been carried out to the teachers at State Elementary School 064020 Medan, the proposing team will carry out an evaluation by giving assignments and questionnaires to the teachers at State Elementary School 064020 Medan to fill in whether the results of the socialization have met the expected solution to the problems of the State Elementary School teachers. 064020 Medan. Abstract

The creation of artworks cannot be hindered by anything, but what becomes an obstacle in creating works is the presence or absence of inspiration which can then foster creativity. The existence of inspiration will certainly be found by someone if they have the intention to create a work, otherwise if it is forced, there will be no inspiration that builds creativity. The ability to read opportunities and find a way through also greatly impacts the success of creating works that have value in them Ease of access to information or problem solving becomes very useful if used in exploring ideas or insights instead of being used for things that are not useful in the long run. The purpose of this workshop activity is to equip students as the audience to be able to seize opportunities by utilizing glass bottle waste as the main material in creating works of art or to be used as goods of selling value.
