Abstract

This study aims to determine whether brand image and product variety influence consumer purchasing interest at Geprek Bensu restaurants in Gorontalo City. This research method uses a quantitative approach with three variables, namely brand image (X1), product variety (X2), and purchasing interest (Y). The sample used in this study amounted to 96 respondents, who had never made a purchase at Geprek Bensu in Gorontalo City and were the general public of Gorontalo City and students of Gorontalo State University. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data analysis used was descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that brand image had a positive and significant effect on purchasing interest, indicated by a regression coefficient value of 0.551. Product variety also had a positive and significant effect on purchasing interest with a coefficient value of 0.345. Simultaneously, brand image and product variety had a significant effect on consumer purchasing interest. This was indicated by the results of the multiple linear regression test with an F-value of 147.696 and a significance of 0.001. These findings reflect that strengthening brand image and providing product variations that suit consumer preferences can increase purchasing interest, especially among the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Affective Commitment, Normative Commitment, and Occupational Stress on Turnover Intention. The research method used is a quantitative research method with a questionnaire as the data collection tool. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with a sample size of 115 employees of Coffeeshop Food & Beverage in the West Region of Semarang City. Data analysis was conducted using validity and reliability tests and multiple linear regression. The results of this analysis indicate that there is a positive insignificant influence of affective commitment on turnover intention, a negative insignificant influence of normative commitment on turnover intention and a positive significant influence of occupational stress on turnover intention. Simultaneously, all three independent variables significantly influence turnover intention. This finding indicates that job stress will influence high turnover intention, and the negative influence of normative commitment will have an impact on no intention to leave low. This study provides theoretical implications in the development of human resources management concepts and suggests that organizations always pay attention to employees to prevent higher turnover intentions, with policies that are more beneficial to employees.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work stress, work motivation, and work environment on employee performance at Nurul Huda Cikampek Foundation. The research background is based on the phenomenon of high work stress levels, declining motivation, and suboptimal work environment conditions at the foundation, which have contributed to decreasing employee performance over the past three years. The research employs a quantitative method with descriptive and verificative approaches. The study population includes all employees of Nurul Huda Cikampek Foundation, with a sample of 50 respondents selected using nonprobability sampling through a saturated sampling technique. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Scale Range Analysis and Path Analysis with SPSS software. The results indicate that work stress falls into the moderate category with an average score of 3.45 and has a significant negative influence on employee performance. Work motivation is in the good category with an average score of 3.82 and shows a significant positive influence. The work environment also scores well with an average of 3.60 and demonstrates a significant positive impact on performance. Partially, work stress accounts for 28.5%, work motivation for 34.2%, and work environment for 31.8% of performance variation. Simultaneous analysis reveals that these three variables collectively explain 78.6% of employee performance variance, while the remaining 21.4% is influenced by other factors beyond this study. These findings provide practical implications for the foundation's management to better manage work stress, enhance motivation, and improve work environment conditions to boost employee performance. The study also contributes to human resource management literature, particularly in the context of non-profit organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of perceptions of convenience, benefits, and risks to the interest of Generation Z in using financial technology (GoPay) in the city of Bandar Lampung. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with sampling techniques through the Slovin formula, which resulted in 100 respondents from Generation Z in the region. Data analysis was conducted using PLS-SEM method through SmartPLS 4 application, covering validity, reliability, hypothesis test, and coefficient of determination. Overall, this study consistently shows that perceptions of ease, benefit, and risk have a positive and significant influence on Gen Z's interest in using GoPay fintech in Bandar Lampung City. The three proposed hypotheses proved to be accepted, with benefit perception and risk perception showed a stronger influence than the perception of ease based on the value of T-statistics and f-square. Specifically, the R-Square value of 0.673 confirms that this model is very good at explaining the 67.3% variation in interest in GoPay use by Gen Z. These results support the validity of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and provide practical implications for fintech service providers to prioritize improving perceived benefits and effective risk management, while maintaining ease of use, to drive continued adoption and interest among the Gen Z segment.

Abstract

Modern trade currently encourages countries to continuously innovate to advance the economy, one of which is through strengthening the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector. In facing these changing times, MSMEs are required to adapt to technological advances, particularly in the field of digital finance or financial technology (fintech). The use of fintech facilitates transaction processes and access to financing, which is expected to improve MSME performance. However, the use of fintech must be accompanied by adequate understanding and education for MSMEs. This study aims to analyze the influence of fintech and financing on MSME performance. The research used an explanatory approach with a quantitative approach using primary data. The results indicate that the use of fintech significantly influences financing, fintech directly influences MSME performance, and financing significantly influences MSME performance. Therefore, an active role is needed from local governments in providing accessible access to fintech services, affordable financing facilities, and entrepreneurship training to improve the competency of MSMEs in facing competition in the digital era.

Abstract

The popularity of Korean instant noodles among Indonesian muslims is increasing, but this raises concerns regarding the halal status of these imported products. Some products do not yet have official halal labels from Indonesian institutions, raising doubts and influencing consumer behavior. This study aims to analyze the influence of halal labeling, religiosity, taste, and price on purchasing decisions for Korean instant noodles from an Islamic business perspective. The halal label is understood as a guarantee of product compliance with sharia, religiosity reflects an individual’s obedience in choosing halal products, taste is related to taste preferences, and price reflects consumers’ purchasing power and perceived value. The study used a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through an online questionnaire to 100 muslim respondents in Bandar Lampung, using a purposive sampling technique with the criterion of having purchased Korean instant noodle products. The sample calculation used the Slovin formula with a 0.1 error rate. Data were analyzed using SmartPLS 4. The results show that the halal label, religiosity, taste, and price have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. These findings contribute to business actors in designing marketing strategies that are in accordance with Islamic business principles and the characteristics of muslim consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline on the performance of personnel at Biak Numfor Police Resort, with work motivation as an intervening variable. The research is motivated by the high rate of disciplinary violations within the Biak Numfor Police, which has led to a decline in performance and professionalism among personnel. A quantitative approach was applied using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The sample consisted of 220 active police officers selected through purposive sampling, while the research instrument was developed based on validated and reliable indicators. The results indicate that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on both work motivation and performance. Furthermore, work motivation has a significant influence on performance and mediates the relationship between work discipline and performance. These findings emphasize that work discipline not only directly contributes to improved performance but also builds internal motivation that drives more optimal results. This research provides practical implications for police leadership, particularly the need to implement consistent disciplinary policies, foster a positive work culture, and develop reward systems that enhance motivation. Such strategies are expected to strengthen discipline, boost internal motivation, and ultimately optimize personnel performance at the Biak Numfor Police Resort.
