Abstract

Homosexuals are still considered taboo and frightening for a majority heterosexual Indonesian society. During their lives, homosexuals have a meaning in their lives, what has become their choice now does not just happen, but there are life experiences that have been lived and life lessons that have their own meaning. This study aims to know and understand the meaning of life in men with homosexuals behavior in Tangerang. This research method is qualitative with case study approach. Data collection techniques using snowball sampling. The number of subjects willing to be participants in the study was three people with the criteria, two of whom were bisexual and one was gay. The results showed that the three subjects found the meaning of life from the aspects specified. All three had uniqueness, activities that guided the meaning of life, believing in the existence of God and carrying out worship. Two out of three subject have experienced tragic events that have passed through during life. With homosexuals behavior, all three can interpret life and have a strong belief in survival among the majority of heterosexuals, even the three subjects also have jobs and education equivalent to heterosexuals..

Abstract

Erikson saw the frequent human experience of despair in the face of death or the limits of life. So it takes a new way of looking at death so that he can be accepted. This research uses the basic design of qualitative research of hermeneutic phenomenology gadamerian. The data obtained from the documentation of Sirah Nabawiyah text with the instrument of the researchers themselves. The conclusion is the acceptance of death can be done with the loyalty, love and concern for religion, Apostle and God, and by understanding the pure identity.

Abstract

This study was conducted to explore the self-compassion of shadow teacher. The analysis used in this study was a phenomenological model with triangulation as a technique to validate the data. This study involved three shadow teachers as participants. The results showed that the three participants had self-compassion which could be shown or expressed in different ways.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the self awareness that exists in sex workers mothers related to the way and awareness of themselves in providing sexual education for their children. This study uses qualitative research methods with a phenomenological research model. Data collection techniques are done by interview and observation. Data analysis techniques using thematic analysis techniques. Checking the validity of the data is done by using interpretive validity by triangulating data. The study was conducted in the Gedangsewu red-light district in Pare with the number of subjects being 3 mothers who work as sex workers with a range of 9- 14 years old children and significant others totaling 3 people. Research shows that two subjects with female children say that providing sexual education for children is important to protect their children from negative environmental influences. While one subject with a male child stated that sexual education was not important given to her child because she considered that it was more important formal education and religious education. The results of the study explain that sex workers have a level of self-awareness capable of realizing the risks of their work, understanding the negative effects of the environment on children, and being able to set good examples to their children. Sexual education provided by mothers to children includes limiting who children associate with, regulating how to dress children, providing reproductive knowledge according to their abilities, and providing rules related to the association of children.

Abstract

The main focus of this study was to find out how the health belief model (HBM) in tuberculosis patients, ie by knowing how to believe in seriousness, susceptibility, benefits, and barriers. This research is a qualitative research with generic qualitative research design. The subject of this study were 5 tuberculosis patients at Dinoyo Health Center. The result shows that TB sufferers have good confidence in the seriousness, susceptibility, benefits and barriers of TB disease. Patients get enough information about TB disease through health workers. Patients do not stop the treatment despite experiencing side effects of treatment. Patients feel getting more benefit by completing treatment. Patients get both social and economic support.

Abstract

This study used qualitative methods with case study techniques. Subjects were 2 women and 1 subject male who was of productive age and had survived with lupus for a long time and had been declared remission healed. In this study data collection was carried out with techniques in-depth interviews with the research subjects in order to obtain the information needed. Checking the validity of the data was examined by using significant other re-checks and triangulation with people. As for the location of the research conducted in the city of Malang. The results showed that resilience on Odapus was influenced by the support given by the closest people, especially the nuclear family. The form of social support that seemed more influential was emotional support and appreciation. In addition, it is undeniable that instrumental support is also important for Odapus considering the amount of costs needed for Odapus treatment.
